Forget the roast turkey, because you can now order a giant pig in blanket for your Christmas dinner.

After research by Food Network revealed that one in five Brits say the humble pig in blanket is the best part of the Christmas dinner, with one in four saying Christmas would be ruined without copious amounts of them, the food channel has created a giant pig in blanket, which is said to make the perfect centrepiece for meat-lovers.

The 10kg creation is made up of 45 linked organic, gluten-free pork sausages, which are all sandwiched together by two Cumberland rings and come wrapped in 70 strips of streaky pancetta bacon… Read the full story

Christmas time, mistletoe and wine, lots of hungry workers in line (at the local coffee shop, waiting to pay for their Christmas sandwiches).

That’s right, people! It’s that time of year again! It comes around so fast doesn’t it? *Mutters something about it being Baltic outside*

Now, if there’s one thing us Brits love more than acting surprised about seasonal weather and talking about how fast time has passed, it’s turning meals into sandwiches.

This time of year, it’s all about taking elements of everyone’s favourite meal – baby Jesus’ birthday scran – and magicking it into an acceptable lunch item.

We wanted to see what the high… Read the full story

If you like Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and you’re a fan of Mac n’ Cheese, you’re in for a treat – well, at least US customers are.

Burger King’s US branch has just announced a seriously cheesy addition to its menu – Flamin’ Hot Mac n’ Cheetos.

The side dish is just what it says on the tin: Flamin’ Hot Cheetos filled with Mac n’ Cheese. It sounds amazing, we know.

The Mac n’ Cheese-filled Cheetos are a twist on the traditional mozzarella stick, except they’re way cheesier – and probably a lot more sickly (in a good way).

We’ve found Jennifer Lawrence’s doppelganger – and it seems she shares more of a likeness to The Hunger Game’s Katniss Everdeen than J-Law does herself.

Alexia Maier’s Instagram account is full of selfies – though if usernames weren’t a thing, you’d think you’d have stumbled across Jennifer Lawrence’s secret account.

Alexia holds a striking resemblance to Jennifer Lawrence’s pre-blonde days, and it seems we’re not the only ones who think so.

Alexia, who creates and sells vintage items on Etsy when she’s not busy being told she looks just like J-Law, currently has nearly 8,000 followers on Instagram – with many of her followers often commenting on her photos to… Read the full story

Anna Rhodes is a bikini modelling champion and founder of Lifting For Girls – a programme designed specifically to get women more into weights.

She’s done seven shows in just two years and you know, she looks incredible. Of course she does.

But rather than simply basking in her success, she’s now turning her attention encouraging other women to get into weightlifting – all while maintaining a positive and realistic body standard.

In fact, she says that no one is as naturally slim as bikini models are.

So what got her into the scene in the first place?

If there’s one thing you need to know before you commit to lash extensions, it’s that they’re bloody expensive.

Not only do you have to drop upwards of £100 on your first set, but to keep them luscious and fluttery, you’ve also got to go for regular top-ups, which usually cost £1 a lash.

It’s a pricey habit, so it makes sense that some people are looking to DIY versions to save their cash.

An ~influencer~ who goes by @trapical.punch on Instagram recently revealed that her super long lashes are actually the work of at-home lash extensions.

She explains that she uses long-lasting glue – either the Ardell… Read the full story

If you haven’t already started shopping for your Christmas cheese boards, you should head over to Asda to begin stocking up – well, only if you’re a fan of orange chocolate.

Yep, the supermarket has just started selling orange chocolate cheese – and no, we don’t know what’s going on with the world.

Asda’s ‘Wensleydale with Double Chocolate & Orange’ is exactly as it sounds – a large wedge of cheese filled with chunks of chocolate and orange. We’re not sure about it, either.

According to Asda’s description of the cheese, the citrus kick featured in the Wensleydale comes from candied orange peel, which comes accompanied with small… Read the full story

I’ve got a secret I’d like to share with you. Come in really close. I’ll need to whisper it. God forbid anyone hears.

OK. So… sometimes I have a sex drive. And… oh god. I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but sometimes…*takes a deep breath* this means I’ll want sex.

What’s a girl to do when she has no boyfriend and feels the urge to have sex?

I mean, hello, that’s what Tinder is for.

So the other week I was pondering the amount of time I waste in small talk and pointless conversations with Tinder matches.

The quality of chat is just so low, I’m bored within like, a day. What… Read the full story

If you’re planning on doing any Christmas shopping at Ikea this December – aka for all of your homeware-loving loved ones – you might want to keep a little bit of money aside, as Ikea-inspired Christmas stockings are now a thing.

Dubbed the ‘Swedish Stocking’, the stocking, which uses the same material as the shop’s Frakta bags, comes courtesy of London-based company Bootleg Baubles, who have fashioned the stockings out of the iconic plastic carriers.

The homage comes 30 years after the carrier bag was first released by the Swedish firm.

19-year-old Jill Young may have just cracked the ‘how-to-go-viral-on-the-internet’ code, after helping her dad amass more than half a million Instagram followers overnight.

Jill’s dad, 49-year-old Bill Young, a pilot and photographer, is an avid Instagram user who instead of documenting photos of his life, uploads photos of every carpet of every hotel he ever steps into.

Bill does have an actual photography-based account – it was Jill’s mum’s idea to make the separate account for Bill’s love of carpets.

Everyone knows the best part of Christmas dinner is the roast potatoes – bar the Yorkshire pudding and the stuffing, of course.

And so, we’re super excited to let you know that McCain is opening a restaurant completely dedicated to roast potatoes.

The ‘Roastaurant’ is set to open from 8-10 December, at the Old Truman Brewery, London, and has been created to settle the #greatroastdebate, a hashtag created after McCain’s research revealed that unconventional versions of the Sunday dinner stalwart are currently on the rise.

Guests will be offered the choice of over 100,000 possible roast combinations in a pick ‘n’ mix style menu, which have been based off McCain’s research… Read the full story

Don’t ask us to explain everyone’s obsession with glitter.

Yes, it gets everywhere. Yes, it’s impossible to get rid of. But we can’t help loving it.

So naturally, if you add it to a hair trend, we’re going to be into it.

Enter glitterage, a new technique created by Danielle Wade of Asteria Salon, that involves painting glitter on to the hair in a balayage (that’s a hair colouring technique in which colour is painted on by hand) in a balayage style.

No, it’s not permanent (we’re still waiting on technology to come up with a way to make your hair sparkle longterm) and it’s not practical, but it sure is pretty.

We know, we know, snow is all very exciting.

The second those first teeny tiny flakes fall, we lose the plot – even it does only last for five minutes and fails to settle.

Not to sound like your mum, but in the midst of all the snow-related joy, it’s important to think about safety.

Not just your own safety (please be careful on icy roads), but the safety of cats, who may struggle to deal with snow – especially when it’s their first time having a white Christmas.

Yep, as cute as little pawprints in the snow may be, you can’t just let cats run around and play… Read the full story

What you need to know about having a Santa fetish

He makes you sit on your lap, you saw Mummy kissing him, and he’s partial to a bit of red.

Yes, we are talking about Santa Claus.

It’s not hard to see why he’s so loved all over the world.

After all, he’s very, er, giving and loves animals. Two things that certainly aren’t red flags.

But some people take a love for Father Christmas a little further than the norm. We’re talking about people with a Santa fetish (also known as Santaphilia).

Chances are you’ve probably dated someone who is into some kind of fetish. Maybe you don’t agree with them necessarily. Take the case of race play. Or maybe you’ve dated someone with a fetish when you don’t have one.

A Santa fetish is indeed a real thing, people – even if you don’t want to think that the man who rides Rudolph could be riding something else.

On Reddit, one man who was a former shopping mall Santa said: ‘On… Read the full story
