Giving birth can have lasting effects.

Injuries. Incontinence. Difficulty reaching orgasm – due to physical and mental factors.

To combat the effects of giving birth, mum and ex-model Yazmin James, 26, chose to undergo a vagina tightening treatment to ‘rejuvenate’ her vagina.

She underwent the eight minute BTL Ultra Femme 360 treatment, which involves inserting a 40C device inside her vagina in an in and out motion.

The procedure requires three treatments and costs £1,200.

A real-life Barbie who has spent almost £50,000 on a transformation so extreme she was convinced her appearance scared men away has now found love with a musician.

For years, 30-year-old Ophelia Vanity was a goth, who favoured black clothes and heavy eyeliner over the Barbie girl look.

However, this dramatically changed in 2009, when she first started spending thousands of pounds on everything from Botox to lip fillers to a nose job to surgery to make her eyes rounder.

But, until she started dating Justin Sterling, 43, the model and personal assistant feared that looking like Barbie had prevented her finding love.

Smacking is generally frowned upon.

Loads of us might have had the slipper when we were kids but today, society seems to be pretty anti-hitting as a form of punishment.

And yet, some folk still believe it’s the best tool for discipline – even if the child is upset.

Companies have been battling it out with each other to make the most realistic vegan version of a meat patty they can, with some going so far as making it ‘bleed’.

In the UK, we have the Moving Mountains ‘bleeding’ raw B12 burger and Iceland’s upcoming No Bull bleeding burger, which is the first of its kind to hit UK supermarkets.

Over the pond in the US, they’ve got the Impossible burger – which scientists spent a whopping £60 million developing – and the Beyond burger by Beyond Meat, which ‘replaces animal protein with plant protein’.

But some places completely miss… Read the full story

If you’re thinking about starting a family any time soon, then you might want to get moving.

Because women who exercise regularly before getting pregnant cut their risk of developing gestational diabetes, a new study claims.

Women with gestation diabetes – or high blood sugar during pregnancy – are more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes after giving birth, so this is quite a useful link in terms of stemming the numbers of preventable diseases.

Researchers analysed data from 1,333 women between 1985 and 2011 who enrolled in a National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute study called Coronary Artery Risk Development in Young Adults (CARDIA).

The women each… Read the full story

Previously on Good Sex Bad Sex, we examined the ins and outs of sex toys (oh grow up) with sex toy expert and Lovehoney’s resident sexpert, the wonderful Annabelle Knight.

In this week’s podcast, our guest is the brilliant comedian and actor Maddy Anholt – who generously shares her ‘surviving the dry patch’ tips.

In between talk of egg-poachers and hot French men who size up your ring finger (non!), we hear about the ‘finding yourself’ opportunities no sexy times affords you.

Miranda Kane: Have you learnt anything throughout your dry patch?

Maddy Anholt: I think this is not going to be the smutty answer that you want… but it’s trust.

I feel like unless you fully trust in yourself and trust in your partner, then the sex is going to be sh*t.

Okay, the sex is going to be okay. But I feel like I’m past that now.

I’m past that thing of getting hammered and falling in the… Read the full story

Logic would dictate that a movement founded on the principals of compassion towards innocent creatures must extend the same kindness to fellow humans.

We might all do bad things from time to time but generally speaking, the majority of folk are good.

But, believe it or not, veganism and fascism – ultra-nationalism – seem to be unlikely bedfellows.

A strange part of YouTube belongs to neo-Nazi vegan chefs who wear balaclavas when teaching their followers how to perfect various plant-based, strengthening meals.

You might think that Beyoncé can do no wrong.

But, it turns out, even she isn’t beyond being called out for cultural appropriation.

For her spring collection, Beyoncé has been channelling ancient Egyptian queen Nefertiti, with crop tops and hoodies featuring portraits of the singer wearing a headpiece similar to the one Nefertiti wore.

And you know what? Some Egyptians aren’t happy about it.

One person tweeted: ‘I’m all kinds of mad about Beyoncé literally selling herself as Nefertiti. My country’s history and culture has been so brutally commoditized and commercialized and exported to everyone’s satisfaction and convenience for GENERATIONS. I’m not spending a dime on her.’

Others have called her a ‘culture vulture’ and… Read the full story

Puppies are cute as hell but they’re teethy little buggers, aren’t they?

The furry little babes are used to playing with their fellow litter pups, who instinctively play by mouthing and biting.

So, while they’re definitely not intending on hurting you, the fact that they have tiny razor sharp teeth means they inevitably do.

You’ll want to nip the biting in the bud as soon as possible before your puppy grows into a fully grown dog who can really do some (unintentional) damage.

Here are some tips, gathered from doggy legends The Kennel Club, and Read the full story
