Over the years Primark has hauled itself from nightmare shop for basics to a trend-led fashionista’s dream.

Seen it on the catwalk? Primarni has probably already made its own cut-price version.

But now, instead of ‘borrowing’ from designers, they’re working with one, in their very first high-fash collab, with Henry Holland.

The brand has collaborated with Holland and Graduate Fashion Week, producing a collection of four super cool tote bags, which scream ‘Henry Holland’. (Not literally – that would be an absolute nightmare.)

Each one is made from 100% sustainable cotton, and costs £3.

So you may as well… Read the full story

Costa meal deal
What kind of monster would open a bag of crisps like this? (Picture: Costa)

Meal deals are ingrained into British lunchtime culture.

If you’re not on the Tupperware train, you’re probably partial to a meal deal, where you get a sandwich/salad, crisps, fruit or chocolate, and a drink, for a pretty reasonable price.

The only problem is the drinks are usually cold, and sometimes you just want a nice hot cup of coffee, not soda or water.

Luckily, Costa are here to save our lunchtimes with a brand new meal deal that launched today, which includes a hot drink. Oh hell yeah.

Can someone explain how we’ve gone so long without ever stopping to consider chicken nuggets a viable breakfast option?

We’ve been saving them for dinner time like absolute schmucks.

Thankfully McDonald’s Australia is here to right our wrongs, by now trialing a snazzy new ‘All Day Favourites’ menu.

That menu will make the Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, French Fries, Cheeseburger, and, most importantly, Chicken McNuggets, available all day long.

Yes, that includes before 10.30am, as part of breakfast.

That means you could pop into McDonald’s for a McMuffin and some nuggets, or have a pastry with your French fries. This is the dream.

We’re just a tiny bit annoyed because for years we’ve just accepted… Read the full story

Wow, time really does fly when you’re eating nuggets.

Exactly one year ago, a young man named Carter Wilkinson set out on a valiant mission. A mission to obtain many, many chicken nuggets.

You’ll probably remember this (was it really a year ago?), but he decided to send out a tweet, reading: ‘Yo @Wendys how many retweets for a year of free chicken nuggets?’

Wendy’s responded with a number: 18 million retweets.

It didn’t seem possible. 18 million retweets would far surpass any record for tweet virality.

But with the support of chicken lovers and the #NuggsForCarter hashtag, Carter’s tweet managed to rack up an extremely respectable 3.4 million retweets,… Read the full story

Britain’s beloved tomato soup is getting a makeover after 100 years.

Even though we’re used to seeing the signature red packaging and probably didn’t think it needed much changing, the new designs are pretty slick.

That’s because the food company has only collaborated with quintessentially British brand Cath Kidston to celebrate their 25th anniversary.

A spring makeover will be bought to the classic design launching at the end of this month.

Heinz will relabel Cream of Tomato, Cream of Chicken and Classic Vegetable Soup with Button Spot, Cowboy, and Bramley Sprig printed designs.

I’m still single, so you can imagine how it went.

But I also played Cupid.

On Wednesday, I was invited to host a speed dating night for people in their late thirties and early forties on behalf of Date in a Dash.

Who doesn’t love them?

10 recipes using Oreos (because they are amazing)

If I had to pick my favourite thing to bake, it would have to be brownies.

A few things first though: for me, a brownie is not a cake and therefore a cakey brownie is not… Read the full story

In a celebration of self-love, yogi Mickie Monroe decided to marry herself on Australia’s Miami Beach.

She recited her vows into a heart-shaped mirror, bought herself a £56 wedding ring, and brought along three friends to witness the ceremony.

‘If you’d asked me a couple of years ago about self-marriage, I’d have thought it was narcissistic,’ said 28-year-old Mickie.

‘But now I realise it’s nothing to do with narcissism, which focuses on what other people think of you.

‘It’s more about self-awareness, and how to deal with those negative, critical thoughts everyone has about themselves.

Ask for a large instead of a venti or admit you don’t mind the odd cup of instant now and again, and you might as well be a leper.

One thing you need to know – lest you be cast out of modern society – is the difference between a latte, a flat white, and a cappuccino.

Don’t worry, we’re here to help you. You’ll never need to ask your barista and suffer the shame.

Still squinting at the eye of the needle, repeatedly poking the end of your thread right next to the hole and getting increasingly frustrated?

No shame, we’ve been doing that for years.

But if you fancy making those times you urgently need to sew something a lot less stressful, rejoice, because there’s an easy needle threading hack that’s currently doing the rounds on Twitter.

It’s one of those tricks that’s hypnotising to watch, incredibly simple, and feels entirely life changing – even if you haven’t needed to thread a needle in the last ten years.

At some point during a wedding, either the bride or the groom (or both) will take the microphone and sweetly say ‘I’m just so happy to have married my best friend.’

Now it’s a nice thing to say, but truth is, most of us have another contender for best friend lurking in the background. You might be able to spend the rest of your life loving your partner, but did they hold your hair back when you drank an entire bottle of Malibu in 2009?

No they did not.

Which is why it’s no great surprise to learn that research from Champneys claims over half of women prefer their… Read the full story

My husband fondly jokes that he’d never have married me if I hadn’t been a virgin.

I’m sure that’s going to horrify a lot of people reading this, and also the fact that I find it funny when he says it.

Would it help if I said he was also a virgin when we met?

Let me add some context – we are both Christians so our sexual status was very much influenced by our religious beliefs.

For him, it was an important choice… Read the full story

Which drinks are changing recipes to beat the sugar tax?

The UK sugar tax comes into play today, 6 April 2018.

That means that a lot of our favourite fizzy drinks are going to get a tad more expensive, all in an effort to put us off taking in loads of sugar.

But while some brands responded to the sugar tax by upping their prices, others refused to make customers pay more.

Instead they did a sneaky switcheroo on their recipes to drop their sugar content below the amount that requires the tax.

The sugar tax impacts drinks with a total sugar count of above 5g per 100ml, which will be taxed at 18p per litre, and drinks with… Read the full story

A scientific dilemma, too, and one which begs the question ‘is it okay to drink alcohol while on antibiotic drugs?’.

Well, the answer is more complex than you might have hoped.

But, depending on what drugs you are on, it isn’t a resounding ‘no, never’.

I know, I know, these days it seems like you can’t make a single mean comment without being pulled up on it.

There’s fat shaming, which prevents you from discriminating against people for being overweight, and then there’s slut shaming which means you’re not allowed to reduce a woman’s worth because she’s had a lot of D.

And now, I’m about to make it even worse by explaining to you about kink shaming. Which, as you’d probably already guessed, you’re also not allowed to do. Or should at least make an… Read the full story

It’s rare that the average family relates to the Kardashian-Wests.

But when Kim Kardashian shared a family photo this week, we felt a tiny bit reassured that being super famous and wealthy doesn’t protect you from all the frustrations of being a parent to tiny humans.

‘I don’t think you really understand how hard it is to take a good family pic,’ wrote Kim underneath a photo of herself with Kanye, North, Saint, and baby Chicago. ‘This was all we got before all three kids started crying. I think I cried too.’

Any parent that’s attempted to take a photo with their children can definitely relate.

So what’s the key to take a… Read the full story

Some dogs will always sniff out a treat (Picture: Graham Wheeler)

As it’s National Pet Month, I’d like to share a story of Riley, the naughty beagle.

One night, as my ex and I went to sleep, we couldn’t shake the feeling that there was a pungent smell in our room.

We searched everywhere, but there was nothing to be found, so we just figured we were being ridiculous and went back to sleep.

This continued for several days.

That is, until I accidentally dropped something behind our bed frame. As I crawled under the bed to pick it up, I saw it.

A large poo in a small nook in the wall, conveniently located… Read the full story
