People really care about what they look like at the airport.

While some of us simply shove on our comfiest pair of joggers, put up our hair and slip into a cosy jumper, others are a little bit more conscious about what they wear when boarding a plane.

Which is totally cool, each to their own. There’s no harm in wanting to look both chic and comfy.

If this is something you care about, you’ll be happy to know that several online stores now have actual categories for airport outifts.

Yes, this is a thing.

You can grab food and coffee, stretch your limbs at yoga, and catch up on your emails, all in the same building.

It’s in a great location – moments from Liverpool Street station and Spitalfields Market – but the best bit is the abundance of vegan pastries.

Just as Feargal Sharkey struggled to find a good heart in the 80s, we’re over here struggling to find a good vegan croissant.

Whether you’re a Kardashian fan, or whether you think that they’re a waste of space, you’d have to be utterly heartless not to feel for Khloe Kardashian, who was nine months pregnant when her partner allegedly cheated on her.

Being cheated on is the worst. The absolute worst. It makes you feel like you’re worthless, like there’s something wrong with you and more than anything else it makes you feel utterly stupid. Why didn’t you see the signs? Could you have stopped it?

And you know what doesn’t help? The sentiment that you, your behaviour and your looks has anything to do with getting cheated on.

Amazon Echo is a new addition to my house.

The kids have been asking for one for months because they loved chatting with Alexa at our friends’ homes.

Their favourite questions are things like ‘Alexa, can you make fart noises’ and ‘Alexa, how are you today?’

They are still young, but it is just a matter of time before they become more tuned in to the incredible things Alexa can do.

Meanwhile, for all the parents out there who are home alone and need a hand with the kids, here are some useful commands for Alexa.

Exams are a bit overwhelming.

You find yourself stressing out and panicking before you even get to sit down in front of your paper, and the silent environment can be somewhat uncomfortable – especially as you see everyone else around you start writing as you’re still struggling to put your pen to the page.

One student who was taking his exams tried to make himself a bit more comfortable. And no, we’re not talking putting on a pair of joggers.

Eric Saueracker recently tweeted a photo of one of his students, who had taken his record player into his exam.

He wrote: ‘Students are taking their Physics… Read the full story

Yankee Candle is selling a salted caramel scented candle and we need to add it to our candle collection immediately.

We’re huge fans of Yankee, even if their candles are a little over-priced.

Most recently, we’ve got out eyes on Yankee Candle’s salted caramel scent – which isn’t new, but has recently been a firm favourite with customers.

The caramel-coloured wax candle is said to smell like a mix of burnt sugar, sea salt and smooth vanilla caramel.

The product description reads: ‘Sweet surrender is yours with Yankee’s luscious gourmand confection of burnt sugar, sea salt and smooth vanilla caramel.

Photos of dogs possessions
Hi guys, can we take a look at your stuff please? (Picture: Alicia Rius Photography)

A photographer has taken portraits of six dogs and all their belongings.

Animal photographer Alicia Rius took pics of a variety of different canines from the States – including a stray, a young show dog and an older, wiser dog – to show what makes them proud and happy, and give us lowly humans a deeper understanding of their psyche.

‘Just like humans, dogs form attachments to their personal possessions and can give the viewer deeper insight into their identity,’ writes Rius on Bored Panda.

When you hang out with a cat, there’s always the suspicion, nestled in the back of your mind, that they’re using you.

They’ll be all sweet and cuddly, then suddenly get up and decide to deliberately knock over all your mugs. They’ll miaow at you until you give them food, only to turn their nose up at the dry biscuits.

Cats are dicks. Do they even love us? Or are we just idiot humans they put up with for food and the occasional stroke?

Cee Webster has had that fear realised.

After they bought their cats, Tucker and Finley, an automatic feeder, they noticed that the kitties stopped bringing… Read the full story

Hello, is it my mouth you’re looking for? (Picture: McDonald’s)

We’ve just discovered that McDonald’s has been selling a halloumi McMuffin and we’re fuming that no-one told us about it.

The veggie breakfast item contains grilled halloumi with crisp, shredded lettuce, a juicy tomato slice and flavoursome olive paste, which sounds downright delicious.

However, in a case of ‘Ronald McDonald giveth, and he taketh away’, the drool-inducing product is only available at McDonald’s Arabia, and isn’t currently available in the UK.

While we imagine the olive element isn’t for everyone, we’re sure you can omit the paste and replace it with your fave condiment –… Read the full story

Careful… (Picture: Getty)

It’s not unusual to be afraid of flying.

After all, it’s easy to feel freaked out about being in what’s essentially a metal tube, flying through the air, surrounded by strangers.

Plane crashes are rare, but when they do happen, the catastrophic details are often seared on our memory, and decide to pop up just as we start boarding the aircraft.

While we already knew that statistically you’re more likely to die in a road traffic accident than a plane crash, we had no idea that there’s more chance of dying from accidental strangulation in bed than there is of… Read the full story

But apparently there are still people using those easily cracked passwords. So we have to address the issue.
