Guest list. Invitations. The dress.

You’ve got everything covered for your dream wedding. But you’ve missed out one crucial thing: selfies.

Add this to your Pinterest board, ASAP. Reem Acra just debuted her Autumn/Winter 2016 bridal collection and, in amongst all the lace and ruffles, the key accessory sent down the catwalk was a majestically bedazzled selfie stick.

Because if you’re not Snapchatting your own face as your soon-to-be-husband reads his vows, you’re not doing love right.

It was only a matter of time.

Someone’s made a lifesize caravan out of Lego, and it’s so ruddy good it’s been awarded a Guinness World Record and everything.

The caravan is constructed from 215,158 interlocking LEGO bricks, and took 12 LEGO certified professional builders (who knew there was such a thing?) over 1,000 man hours to make.

And it gets better. Inside, the teardrop style caravan features working electric lights, a sink with running water, a fridge, simulated cooking facilities, a bed and seating, not to mention other caravan must-haves including a chess set, toothbrushes, a frying pan and milk, all made out of LEGO.

Look again (Picture: Wenn.com)

This picture from a Miss Bikini Ireland photocall is being shared across social media. But, it’s not what you’re thinking.

The Miss Bikini Ireland contestants got together yesterday to pose with their tops off – apparently to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It was definitely not a shameless advertising opportunity for Miss Bikini Ireland. Honest.

Just one question: shouldn’t Miss Bikini Ireland actually have a bikini on?

Anyway, while we’re not convinced images of women posing half-naked on a freezing cold Dublin day are doing anything for people battling breast cancer, one particular photo has grabbed our attention.

It’s of model Ana Pavel, but it’s what’s happening in the background that’s drawing the eye.

A pack of corgis descended upon San Francisco’s Ocean Beach this weekend, for their annual NorCal CorgiCon Fall Beach Day.

CorgiCon for short. Short like their tiny, adorable legs.

Founded last year by residents of the area, CorgiCon raises money for animal rescue charities, celebrates the very existence of the corgi, and hosts a costume competition.

It’s also a magical place where a bunch of corgis meet, play, and pose for adorable photos.

This year, there were 630 corgi attendees, all ready for a day of fun at the beach. It was glorious.

The corgis all turned up looking ship-shape.

According to nationaldaycalendar.com, today is #NoBraDay, a day supposedly created to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research.

There is no official recognition of the campaign by Cancer Research or Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it seems to have initially started on Twitter and begun trending.

Though they say they can’t verify its origins, the site states that this is a ‘day to leave your bra at home’, giving the reason that many women who have survived breast cancer are unable to go without a bra, as they need it to hold their prosthesis after surgery.

So, if this is the case, why are we celebrating not wearing a bra?

Three months ago I landed my dream job. 10 weeks later, I handed my notice in.

It all started 10 years ago. Sat in a stuffy art room in my secondary school, I decided I wanted to be a journalist. I was 14, and used to pick up NME every Tuesday on the way to school and read it during registration. My favourite teacher told me I could write for them one day in a desperate attempt to get me to engage with English (which I hated), and it worked.

I kept on writing and eventually went to university, where I started pestering editors to give me internships. It worked, and I spent every single day of my… Read the full story

Just call him wedding crasher-in-chief.

President Obama drove his golf cart through a couple’s wedding ceremony this weekend. And not only did he stop for a few selfies – he even had a little word of advice for the groom.

Couple Brian and Stephanie Tobe were due to get married at sunset at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in San Diego. As the ceremony approached, they discovered the President was just finishing up a round of golf at the venue’s 18th hole – which happened to be right behind the altar.

‘We all decided to wait on the ceremony so that he could play through,’ wedding photographers Jeff and Erin Youngren explained on their Read the full story

The moment Sharon realised she was a grandma (Picture: YouTube)

An Ohio woman’s video of the moment her mum met her adopted baby for the first time – and realised she was finally a gran – has been breaking hearts across the internet.

Laura Dell, 32, and husband Josh, 34, who are unable to have a child biologically, had only been approved for adoption three weeks before the video was filmed, although they had been going through the adoption process for almost a year.

They were matched with their five-month baby girl Ellie so quickly that they didn’t even have a chance to tell Laura’s mum, Sharon.

So, they decided to surprise her with the news. Helpfully, they captured gran’s amazing reaction on camera.

10 things you need to stop saying to single people
Yeah, thanks for the advice (Picture: Charly Clements for Metro)

Being single is pretty all right; you get the whole bed to yourself, have more money around Christmas time, and don’t have to share pizza, however coping with so called ‘advice’ from the happily settled brigade is a completely unnecessary evil.

1. ‘So….are you seeing anyone? How’s the love life?’

2. ‘Why are you even on Tinder? Isn’t that just for people who want a shag’

But my best friends, sister’s dog’s original owner got married to someone they met on Tinder, and there are just so many people on there, if I delete then I’m giving up right?

Are you clucking with me? (Picture: Chicken Treat)

A fast food chain in Australia is trying to prove that anything is possible – even getting a chicken to transcend the laws of social media and communication between the species.

Chicken Treat has hired a chicken named Betty to take over their social media. She’s probably not the most qualified candidate, because you know, she’s a chicken, but Chicken Treat really have faith in her potential.

Her first task at her new gig? To tweet a five letter word in English. She’s got a pretty tight deadline of October 30.

It’s not going well.

How much of you is determined by when you’re born? (Credit: METRO/Mylo)

So it turns out the month you’re born in can determine a lot about you – specifically your height and your health.

For instance, summer babies are on average taller and healthier than those born in other seasons, according to research from Cambridge University.

Sorry winter babies.

But it has always been a long-held belief that the month you’re born in decides many aspects of your person.

We have horoscopes, star signs and Chinese zodiac symbols to prove that.

So can we guess what month you were born in depending on your personality?

Introducing the newest Maccy’s super-burger: the Grand Cheddar McMelt. It’s the cheesiest thing ever and it’s glorious.

It’s made up of two juicy burgers stacked in double buns, covered in two soft pillowy layers of melted cheddar cheese (enough that it’s drizzling out of the sides) and two layers of sweet, caramelised onions.

It’s like Blue Peter meets Pimp My Ride… in a REALLY good way.

An Amsterdam-based creative has taken it upon himself to give strangers cars an upgrade… using cardboard boxes.

Talking to Metro.co.uk about how it all started 24-year-old creative Max Siedentopf explained: ‘We live in a time where individuality, self-expression and status are at an all-time peak. We want to personalise everything to be unique. However, for some reason the individualisation of one’s car has drastically decreased over the past few years.

‘Resultant out of this realisation I tried to think of a way to make the most ordinary cars for just a few euros into their own supercar.’

And from this gem of an idea came his… Read the full story

In a video posted by passenger Dave Smith to YouTube, two women can be seen squaring up in the Guy’s Burger Joint line on the Caribbean cruise.

It’s believed the brawl started after a woman pushed into the line and other hangry cruisers took exception.

Or as Dave puts it, the two ladies ‘decided to throw down while waiting in line for a cheeseburger.’

Its wild woods, rolling fields and leafy glades are truly a thing of wonder.

From the bright barges meandering down the Kennet and Avon Canal to the majesty of Windsor Castle you can hardly move for evidence of Britain at its best.

And, wandering down an abandoned lane, with only muntjac and hares for company, you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
