It doesn’t even need to be said at this point, but we’ll say it anyway: Meghan Markle wowed us all when she arrived at the royal wedding.

That simple, elegant dress. That bun. The way she looked at Prince Harry.

And, of course, that veil.

At five metres long, the veil is quite the statement piece, giving a subtle nod to Diana’s extra-long train on her wedding.

Now, sketches from Claire Waight Keller have revealed more of the hidden details of the veil, along with details of… Read the full story

Hey guys, did you know cars come with indicators?

These magical lights let people know which way you intend to turn if you’re at a junction or that you’re about to drive off if parked.

I’m just checking because it seems like some people aren’t aware they exist.

For those not aware, it’s there in the name.

Indicators. They indicate which way you’re going to turn. Left or right.

Revolutionary, huh?!

They can be charmingly idyllic like Gilmore Girls’ Stars Hollow, where neighbours are friendly and the sun always seems to shine, or they can be claustrophobic and unnerving like Wayward Pines, where like its namesake show, everything is not quite as it seems.

Why you’ll only see Meghan Markle wearing neutral nail polish from now on

Meghan Markle has to face a lot of new rules now she’s married into the royal family.

No more social media. No selfies. No getting involved in politics.

And, of course, no more dark nail polish.

It’s a little thing, but much like the rule that declares Prince George must wear shorts until a certain age, it’s the kind of thing that we imagine could niggle.

At all public appearances for the royal family, only natural-looking nails are permitted – meaning no dark polish, no massive fake talons, and no trendy nail art (sad times).

Unnatural nails and dark polish is considered ‘vulgar’ by the Queen, so it’s a pretty… Read the full story

We wouldn’t usually describe public transport as ‘cute’.

But when a train is Hello Kitty themed, it is pretty damn adorable.

On 30 June 2018, a Hello Kitty bullet train, or shinkansen, will make its debut in Japan. It’ll be making round trips connecting Osaka and Fukoaka, so will be handy for anyone exploring Japan – as it’ll take you across the country super fast.

Oh, and as we mentioned, it’s all Hello Kitty themed. That means plenty of pink with decorations of bows and Hello Kitty’s sweet little… Read the full story

Three people in a polyamorous relationship are preparing to welcome their first child in October, who they say they will parent as a ‘complete’ threesome.

33-year-old Ashta Monogue and her husband Ash, 36, from Georgia, USA, met seven years ago at a street fair, and have been married since 2013.

Ashta has been polyamorous for a decade and throughout their marriage Ash has explored the concept, meeting Rowen, 28, online in May 2016.

For Ash and Ashta, forming a triad relationship with a third person wasn’t something that was planned, but after the three of them met and clicked, they all… Read the full story

A little bit of work-related stress is normal.

But when it makes you dread going to work, that’s an issue. The same goes for when stress is taking over your thoughts. When it’s making your stomach churn. When every night you’re having nightmares about missing deadlines or showing up to work late.

That’s not healthy stress. That’s a serious problem that needs to be worked through.

Once you realise you’re experiencing an overload of stress, what can you actually do?

It’s easy to bury your head in the sand, prioritise relaxation at home, and just hope that things get better.

Then there’s the temptation to quit your job and… Read the full story

Please, take my money, take all £5 of it (Picture: Erin Aniker)

Market Watch recently tweeted out an article from earlier this year, which listed how your finances should look in your 30s.

It stated that by 30, you should have saved a year’s worth of salary, and by 35, you should have two year’s worth.

For most of us, that’s just a hilarious joke – thanks to crippling sudent debt, wages that don’t increase with inflation, and our government allowing landlords to royally screw us with rent prices, we couldn’t be further from having this much money.

Thankfully, there are many of us in the same… Read the full story

Mermaid costumes are here and they’re canine friendly.

No longer do we think of the mythical sea creatures as girly or princessy, now they’re for anyone with legs, dogs included.

You can dress your cockapoo or labradoodle or any other breed up in a blue and purple sparkly mermaid dress, complete with a tiny shiny tail.

It’s bizarre, but kind of brilliant too.

B&M launched the novelty fancy dress costumes, selling them for a mere £5.99, a nifty price for a dog/mermaid hybrid.

‘Your four-legged friend will love dressing up in their very own mermaid costume,’ it says on the website, and by the looks of the images they’ve used,… Read the full story

If you were distracted by all the romance of the royal wedding by Meghan Markle’s blooms, you’re in luck, as a brand has gone ahead and released a replica bouquet.

Floom is now selling their version of Meghan’s small, simple bouquet, made up of peonies, astilbe, and garden roses in white shades.

Of course, their version isn’t identical to the one Meghan held at the wedding, but it’s pretty close.

Meghan’s bouquet had flowers picked by Prince Harry from a private garden at Kensington Palace, including Forget-Me-Nots (Diana’s favourite flower), sweet peas, lily of the valley, and jasmine, all held together by a raw silk ribbon.

Toy company Hasbro has announced that it’s trademarking the smell of Play-Doh.

We know we’re not the only ones who loved sticking our noses in the tubs to get a good whiff of that sweet scent.

However Play-Doh has been around since 1956 – why trademark it now?

You might’ve seen Lola Brown’s cries after she found out she wasn’t invited to the royal wedding.

The five-year-old burst out in tears when she asked her mum when they’d be going to London to pick up the dress to wear to Meghan and Harry’s nuptials, only to be told that there was no such plan.

Well, much like us putting on an unbothered face after not being invited either, Lola is totally over it.
