Thought libraries weren’t for you? Think again.

It turns out there’s such a thing as a cat library.

Yeah, you read that right. A cat library… as in a place you go to borrow a cat.

How much better is that than a normal library, right?

Posting a pic of some seriously cute kitties on Reddit, original poster Loocylooo explained: ‘My work has a “cat library”. You can “check out” a cat to take back to your desk for an hour. The kitties are the newest additions to the “library”!’

Yes, not only does she know of a cat library, but it’s at her actual work. We. Die.

So, this was pretty awks (Picture: Twitter/ERIC_TIS)

When Patrick Smith decided to ask his high school crush, Jen Malespina, to go to the prom with him he was pretty sure he was going to get a yes.

That’s probably why he decided to do it over the microphone in front of thousands of people at a football match, and asked his best mate to video the whole thing.

Unfortunately things didn’t quite work out that way.

The video is mega cringe – boy approaches girl, girl turns boy down in front of the entire school – but Patrick handles it like a total champ. Disappointed? Yes. Determined? For sure.

Remember how much you wanted to make the Ice Bucket Challenge stop after the 3,456th one appeared in your Facebook feed?

Well, now there’s another social media challenge to swamp your timeline.

The idea is that women take off their tops and hold a can of Coca-Cola between their boobs, conceal their nipples to make the images vaguely Facebook censorship-friendly and then snap a selfie.

The  #HoldACokeWithYourBoobsChallenge – which campaigners hope will match the popularity of the Ice Bucket Challenge – is meant to raise awareness of breast cancer.

The craze has already gone global women from America, Russia and France posting their selfies to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to urge women to check their cleavage for lumps and bumps.

Kate Upton was one of the first to give it a go…

Bit of pyjama queen? We hear you, but apparently sleeping in the buff is much better for us.

Only one in three adults sleep starkers, according to an international study by the U.S. National Sleep Foundation, which means that a lot of us are missing out on some of the benefits.

Benefits that include regulating body temperature (huge deal) and lowering levels of stress hormone, cortisol. As well as preventing the risk of exacerbating existing skin problems.

It’s about letting your body breathe, people.

Rachelle Friedman Chapman was left paralysed after being accidentally pushed into a swimming pool by one of her bridesmaids on her hen night.

But, she’s vowed to never reveal who pushed her.

Rachelle says she was messing around by the pool with her mates at the hen do back in May 2010 when one of the girls playfully pushed her.

She told Closer: ‘I fell in at the shallow end. I heard a loud snap and couldn’t feel anything from the chest down.’

Ice cream is Britain’s happiest food, according to new research. And, forget a starter, we’re a nation of pudding lovers.

A study by Bupa into the powerful link between food, memory and moods, found that desserts are the most evocative part of the meal, and most likely to boost Brits’ mood.

Thirty three per cent of Brits said ice cream most reminded them of childhood memories, 31 per cent picked apple crumble as their most comforting food, and 30 per cent said strawberries and cream made them happy.

Yeah, you can get an app for that but it won’t look anywhere near as cool on your bedside table.

The Tempescope is the brainchild of Ken Kawamoto – software engineer by day, gadget genius by night – and is part of his plan ‘break the barrier between the digital world and the real world.’

The microcosm in a box can create real raindrops and clouds, and simulate thunder storms, lightning, and glorious sunshine to show you the weather forecast, or the real-time weather, in your living room.

Whatever your relationship with running, there’s no denying that once it hooks you, it’s hard to stop chasing the buzz.

Here are 30 ways to know you’re addicted to running…

The guys at Hello Party (a rival to the Middleton’s very own party supplies company, Party Pieces), have got busy on Photoshop and created some, er, how should we say this… interesting interpretations of what they think the latest edition to the royal family will look like as she grows up.

Spoiler alert: She’ll look like a little kid, then a brunette little girl, and finally she’ll morph into Kate.

It’s National Sweets Month (who knew?) so a poll has sought to finally pin down the nation’s favourite sweet treat (apparently, chocolate bars now qualify as sweets by the way).

And the winner is…Maltesers. WTF? We demand a recount. They’re 50 per cent air surely?

In second place are Minstrels – we suspect these people were in the cinema when they took the survey – and Wispas came a solid, yet also bubbly, third.

Are these leak-proof pants set to eradicate the need for tampons and sanitary towels?

Every day, it’s estimated that 800 million women in the world will be on their period.

Despite this, in many parts of the world, women still don’t have proper access to essential feminine hygiene products.

In Uganda, for example, girls miss around 11 per cent of the school year because of their periods – without sanitary products, they are confined to their houses.

Even in the UK, where we have access to a wide variety of period products, they are deemed a luxury item by the government and taxed at 5 per cent.

And with the average UK woman disposing of 125 to… Read the full story

The 90s was quite a time to be a chocolate fan.

Sure, we had old favourites like Mars and Whispa, but we got some oddities too.

Manufacturers tried experiments with chocolate that can, at best, be described as inventive and at worst bat s**t crazy.

But those were simpler, more optimistic times – times in which you could still visit a village shop with £1 and come away with a pocket full of treats.

Here’s the definitive list of 90s chocolates ranked from worst to best.

Does sneezing *really* give you a tiny bit of an orgasm?

Woman sneezing
Like a sneeze but better? (Picture: Getty)

There’s something satisfying about a good sneeze, right? But what’s the tie-in with having an orgasm?

Allow us to explain: sneezing is basically just getting rid of germs via a whoosh of air out your nose.

Or, as Alexis Jackman, M.D., of the New York-based ENT and Allergy Associates, puts it, ‘a coordinated, autonomic response to stimuli’.

As for the theory that says if you sneeze a number of times in a row it feels like you’re having a teeny tiny orgasm? Not true.

While both are involuntary reflexes that release endorphins in the body – the levels do not compare. As in, the post-sneeze feelgood is nothing like the buzzy high post orgasm.
