Leaving for work in the morning is hard enough, but one Redditor has an extra tough time due to her wide-eyed cat.

Posting three pictures of her cats daily emotional blackmailing online, Jes Klass wrote: ‘It has never been harder to leave my apartment.’

She went on to explain that her flame point Himalayan cat, Ghost (who now has his very own Facebook page), is her world, saying: ‘ In a really embarrassing and much-too-personal-for-reddit way he’s really helped with my depression and anxiety. He’s a great little cat :)’

But Arvo dared to dream. Plus, he’s clearly a bloody-minded type of guy.

Designer Phoebe Heess has just launched a Kickstarter asking for funding to make a black T-shirt that’s darker than black.

She writes: ‘We are on a quest to create the darkest T-shirt in the world.’

The Phoebe Heess team have managed to create their blacker than black T-shirt through months of testing and technology bits.

The darkest material on earth – meaning the fabric that reflects the least amount of light – is made of carbon nanotubes.

Sure, an artist is so much more than his tools. But creating your art with straight up fire instantly makes you pretty badass.

Steven Spazuk is a 55-year-old artist living in Canada, who uses the ancient technique of fumage to create his works.

For anyone not well-versed in ancient art forms, fumage is the use of a kerosene lamp or candle to create smoke, leaving impressions on the canvas.

The artist can then go in with a brush, feather, or metal scraping tool to gently alter and manipulate the soot.

It’s not every day that you open the door to a delivery of 150 – yes 150 – tropical fish. Especially when what you were actually expecting was the glass table and chair set you’d ordered off eBay.

But that’s exactly what happened to 21-year-old full-time mum Becky Smith.

Becky, from Harold Hill, East London, had forked out £185 on the glass table and chairs, so it’s not surprising that she was a little upset to find 40 bags of fish had been delivered to her house instead.
