Unsurprisingly, not everyone’s a fan of this jumper (Picture: Twitter/bluelightblue)

It looks like Target didn’t get the memo about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) being a serious mental illness and not a casual thing to make a joke about.

Apparently that’s not common knowledge, because the US shop thought it would be totally fine to create a festive jumper with ‘OCD Obsessive Christmas Disorder’ emblazoned across it.

Nope, not a single person in the design and manufacturing stages seemed to think: ‘Hang on a second, a few people might find this more than a little offensive.’

A burger in New York City has just been named the best in the world – and it doesn’t even contain any meat.

We know. It’s mindblowing.

The famous $6 (£4) Superiority Burger, which has a fully vegan patty, has just been named the best the world has to offer by GQ magazine.

An impressive feat – and you just know it’s going to be a controversial choice.

People have been raving about the taste and texture of the chunky nutty burger but no one knows exactly what’s in it – just that no cows were harmed in its making.

It comes sandwiched in a bun with iceberg lettuce and tomato on top, plus dill pickle… Read the full story

Starbucks’ red cups are here, signalling the arrival of Christmas.

And the apocalypse, probably, because much to the rage of some very angry angry people, it is UNACCEPTABLE that Starbucks’ Christmas cups aren’t covered in pictures of the baby Jesus.

Because Christmas drinks should be Christmassy. Not subtle ombre, as fitting of a cup of coffee. But covered in festivity to capture the true Christmas spirit. On a cup.

If you feel equally strongly as these angry people, but have a slightly different religious affiliation, you’re going to LOVE these reusable Satanic Starbucks cups.

China is celebrating its singles day on 11 November, and we know what you’re thinking. Why we can’t we have one too?

Of course, 11 November for us already has a very important event attached to it. We’re definitely an advocate of Armistice Day staying exactly where it is.

But there are a good 300-odd free days, one during which we could be celebrating singledom everywhere.

So here’s why singles should have their own day.

What would you say is the classic family meal of today? Pasta and pesto? Salmon with vegetables? A massive pizza?

As you’d probably expect, dinnertime looked a little different 100 years ago. And 60 years ago. And even 20 years ago. What we like to eat every evening has changed a LOT over the years.

And in the spirit of those ‘100 years of beauty’ videos everyone loves, Mode has created a video roundup of family dinners over the last century.

It’s got an American focus (we think), but some of those food trends feel pretty familiar over the pond. If only because we’re so used to hearing about chicken kievs from… Read the full story

It was only a matter of time…

Yep, Snoop Dogg has launched his very own totally legit range of weed and THC-infused products.

The stylish line is called Leafs by Snoop, and includes everything from eight different strains of flowers hand-picked by Snoop himself, to cannabis concentrates (shatter and wax) and edibles (including THC-spiked peanut butter gems).

Despite the fact that we’re told, ‘Leafs by Snoop embodies the California cool lifestyle’, the range is only currently available at LivWell dispensaries in the state of Colorado, which was the first US state to legalise cannabis back in 2014.

A company which makes products for children is teaching them that orcas belong in oceans, not in theme parks.

Following news that SeaWorld isn’t stopping its killer whale shows, but is redeveloping them so the orcas don’t have to perform tricks on demand, one American brand is taking a stand.

Munchkin has been selling a squirtable orca bath toy for 10 years, but have taken it off the shelves to protest against the animals being kept in captivity for display.

Because, they say, ‘a bathtub isn’t big enough for an orca’.

And that’s by playing this mini game, of course.

Car parking website Just Park (yup, that’s a thing), surveyed 2,000 people on their emergency stopping time and used the results to create this game.

Before the days of apps, YouTube stars and schools dishing out iPads, there was the noughties. A simpler place, a happier place, but most definitely an embarrassing place for teenagers.

How did we all end up so, well, normal?

1. Secretly buying black hair dye and devastating your mum at 9pm on a school night with the aftermath.

2. Applying ‘wet look’ hair gel. Sleek.

3. Spending all of your phone credit on ringtones off the TV, only to find out afterwards that your mate knew how to programme them in for free.

4. Collecting beanie babies. Seriously, they are still worth NOTHING.

As well as excellent storage options and normcore PJs, Muji is now doing houses.

The Tokyo-based company will start selling three styles of house, off-the-peg, in late 2016. They’ll cost between three and five million yen (£16,000 to £26,700).

The houses may be small, but they’re perfectly formed.

Unveiled earlier this month during Tokyo Design Week, the Muji Huts were conjured from the imagination of three acclaimed designers: Naoto Fukasawa, Konstantin Grcic and English designer Jasper Morrison.

Morrison’s cork and timber house is the largest of the three and includes a cosy kitchen/diner and a spacious bathroom.

Who are these people and how do you make them like you?! (Picture: Getty)

You’ve taken the leap and accepted a new job, but let’s be honest – you’re dreading the first day of the unknown.

New names, new faces and the scary prospect of having to find the toilet.

It’s 10 times worse than the first day of school ever was. If you’re the office newbie you’ll understand these struggles…

1. You get introduced to what feels like ten thousand people in the first morning. You shake everyone’s hand, tell them how nice it is to meet them, while your internal monologue tells you ‘as if I’m going to remember any of your names’. You spend the next three days wishing name badges were a socially acceptable request.

2. Instead of saying hello… Read the full story
