Want to stock up on bubbles ahead of Christmas? Best get yourself down to the Co-op then.

According to Which? Magazine, the best buy champagne this year is Co-op’s Les Pionniers NV Champagne, which costs a bargain £16.99.

In a blind test by the magazine, the supermarket own-brands fared better than the more expensive champagnes, making up two thirds of the top 15.

Tasters found the Co-op’s champagne had just the right balance of flavours, with a complexity and depth coming from its nutty taste, giving it an 85 per cent approval rating.

Just over a week ago, a load of people turned up to a gallery in New York and stuck their arm through a hole so someone could give them a surprise tattoo.

Fortunately for them, it wasn’t some amateur tattooist on the other side of the wall. It was world-renowned tattoo artist – and best man at Jennifer Aniston’s wedding to Justin Theroux – Scott Campbell.

And he was doing it for free as part of his week-long Whole Glory project.

A two-legged shelter puppy is back on his feet thanks to scientists in Ohio. Tumbles, who was born without his front legs, is now rolling around with help from a 3-D printed wheelchair created by the Ohio University Innovation Center.
