Meet the True Love Tinder Robot. It will find you love on Tinder. ‘Guaranteed’.

After all, what better way to find the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with than by using a severed robot hand to interact with a computer app?

And they say romance is dead.

The Love Robot works by ‘reading your true heart’s desire’ via sensors, and then swiping left or right on Tinder for you.

‘Throughout the process,’ promises creator Nicole He, a graduate student in New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, ‘it will make commentary on your involuntary decisions.’

You WILL cry (Picture: Getty)

It’s time for the school nativity.

From tea towels on heads to weeping mums in the audience, here are 10 things all parents know about the school nativity.

1. You will be roped in to make costumes.  No matter how much effort you make, it will always be upstaged by another parent’s couture creation.

2. By the time the nativity comes around, you will be sick to death of hearing the songs which have been practiced at home for weeks!

3. There will be tears when your kid doesn’t get the part they wanted and end up being a wall or a camel’s bum.

You’ll be tired. Fact. (Picture: Getty)

Starting a family is one of the most exciting times of your life. Yet nothing can prepare you for the reality of what it actually means to have a baby to look after.

Here are 24 things you should know before you start a family.

1. You don’t believe that parents are more tired than everyone else? You’re wrong.

2. Your bag will always contain a few surprises (which you’ll pull out at inappropriate moments)… a few squashed raisins, a pair of pants, a squeaky toy.

3. Complete strangers will give you unsolicited advice. A woman I didn’t know called her sister to ask for advice because my baby had hiccups.

4. Kids aren’t cheap. You… Read the full story

brilliant video shows the truth behind social media photos
#RelationshipGoals (Picture: Youtube/BiKip SongAo)

At this point, we all know that what we see on social media isn’t a real reflection of daily life.

No one’s makeup is that perfect. No life is made up entirely of trips to the beach and fancy brunches. The drudgery, work, and packet of crackers that blogger ate for dinner? All absent from their Instagram profile.

But in case you need a reminder of just how fake social media photos can really be, Ho Anh Duc has created a video showing all the weirdness and preparation behind the photo you just double-tapped.

Because that cutesy couple photo?

Yep, there’s a big difference between the two (Credit: Getty)

It’s the ultimate hot drink divide: the tea sippers with their Twinings on one side, and the coffee guzzlers nursing their Starbucks on the other.

You may tell yourself and others that you like them both, but you know when it comes down to it there’s one you prefer. No need to lie.

It turns out there are also key personality differences between tea and coffee drinks. So, as it’s International Tea Day, we’ve put together this quiz from YouGov Profiles.

A mother is trying to raise awareness about Kawasaki disease after her son was unexpectedly diagnosed with the rare condition.

Back in August, 12-year-old Finley Green went to hospital after complaining of tiredness and aching limbs, with red eyes, cracked lips and a fever he couldn’t shake.

Doctors took ten days to figure out that Finley, from Poole in Dorset, had the little-known Kawasaki disease (also known as mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome).

Yep. You’ve reached that weird place on the internet again.

Showry – also known as Syori – is a feminist Youtuber who’s racked up more than 500,000 followers on her Facebook page. How? By doing a bunch of strange stuff involving food, paint, and her body.

But we’re not talking the usual food and body related stuff. Showry isn’t trying to be sexy or appeal to that group of guys who love to watch women smother themselves in chocolate.

Instead, she’s actually massively taking the piss out of sExY videos. Specifically the South Korean muk-bang trend, which sees… Read the full story

Cute or creepy? You decide. (Picture: Firebox)

If you’re familiar with the work of Jurassic Park owner John Hammond, you’ll know that bringing dinosaurs back to life is a tricky business.

But there is a more straightforward way of getting your real life* dinosaur fix.

You know, one that doesn’t involve opening up a whole theme park and trying to convince the world that bringing back giant prehistoric creatures is a casual thing.

Instead, you could just light one of these new candles from Firebox.

They’re pretty cool because they look just like dinosaur eggs.

Just when you thought they’d manage to corner every single commercial opportunity in the run up to the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, another one pops up.

Introducing Star Wars Saber Skin condoms by Graphic Armor.

If you choose the Dark Side, the condom comes with a picture of Darth Vader and the message ‘I will not be your father’.

While those perhaps needing a little more Jedi training from the master himself can choose the Yoda condom which comes with the line: ‘Do or do not. There is no try’.

A cat isn’t just for Christmas – but they certainly exhibit new behaviours over the festive season.

Some of the things they do are as adorable as their little noses, ears and whiskers – and others make you so infuriated that you regret ever being a feline person in the first place.

But there’s no doubt that having a cat around certainly makes Yuletide a lot more interesting.

Here are just a few things all cat owners will relate to at this time of year.

Have a purry meowy Catmas everyone!

Great gran Ina Carruthers celebrated her 105th birthday on St Andrew’s Day and she says the secret to long life is gin and juice.

Ina celebrated with a cake and a princess sash (and, no doubt, a few gins) alongside residents at Aisla Craig care home in Glasgow on November 30.

As well as gin and orange juice, she says a diet of wheat-bran cereal, toast and biscuits is what keeps her in good health.

Born in 1910, Ina worked as a machinist in a factory during World War II, where she enjoyed a salary three times that of her colleagues. ‘I got very lucky with the job I had – I… Read the full story

Christmas 24 has carried out an experiment to help people remember the true meaning of the festive season.

The TV channel built this Christmas-themed phonebox with a huge sign offering free presents – but the brilliance of the idea is made clear when people answer the ringing phone.

Many people walk by ignoring the phonebox in Birmingham New Street station – which is pretty hard to do, considering it’s massive and bright pink.

Finally, a girl picks up the ringing phone…

The start of a beautiful friendship (Picture: @sayavaa/Twitter)

We suspect nothing good will come of this.

Twitter user @SayAvaaa posted a short clip of the moment she met her boss’ baby at the office Christmas party on December 14.

And, let’s just say, it was a meeting of the minds.

In the 10 second clip, the baby is seen giving her the side-eye, before leaning back and assessing her properly.

Clearly hitting it off immediately, the two then turn to look at the camera, before little guy breaks into a smirk.

Struggling with a trans identity can be extraordinarily difficult, but a new video shows a group of young people who’ve come through the other side and lived to laugh another day.

Created by Jake Graf for FTM magazine, the video shows bloggers and vloggers discussing both the serious and funny side of being trans.

From navigating going to the bathroom to the reality of taking hormones, the extremely honest account is eye-opening, while finely balancing the good-natured humour of the group with serious issues.

And it’s information that’s sorely needed too, as Lewis Hancox’s anecdote in the short film shows all… Read the full story

10 slightly irritating Facebook posts you see every Christmas Getty
You’re just showing off and we all know it (Picture: Getty)

I love Facebook. However, over Christmas I try to avoid it as I find myself getting irrationally annoyed by some festive status updates.

Here are a few that make me mildly cross for no good reason:

1. The Christmas countdown

Admittedly, Christmas can bring out the inner child in all of us. But when a grown adult updates their status with how many ‘sleeps’ there are left until Christmas Day it makes me want to vomit.

2. The ‘LOOK at my Christmas tree’ posts

Remember in the days before Facebook when you decorated your Christmas tree and then you’d have… Read the full story
