We love hot dogs but quite frankly, with all the talk of processed meats and their link with cancer at the moment, we’ve become a bit scared of them.

The recent WHO report that ranked sausages up there with cigarettes as a cancer risk has made us wary of tucking in to the delicious dog in quite the same way.

But now meatless hot dogs are a thing and they look incredibly tasty.

From London to Copenhagen and New Orleans, vegan dogs are big business for fast food restaurants, food trucks and takeaways around the world.

We’ve found some of the best looking and best rated options around that will make you wonder what you ever saw in pork in the first place.

New blog pokes fun at Tinder's 'Male Feminists'
‘No, really! I am! Please!’ (Picture: Male Feminists of Tinder/Lane Moore)

Feminism is sexy. That much is absolutely true.

Because nothing is less sexy than a man who thinks women are ‘asking for it’, ever, doesn’t think a woman could be president, or hides his sexist attitudes under the guise of being ‘traditional’ when it comes to dating.

But here’s the thing about feminists: everyone should be one.

It’s not exactly something that needs to be bragged about, – although yes, we’d appreciate it if you proudly said ‘yes, I’m a feminist’ when asked – used as currency to prove you’re not a crappy person, or put on your… Read the full story

This is McDonald’s. True story (Picture: Landini Associates/Instagram)

McDonald’s has just opened a ‘concept store’ in Hong Kong called McDonald’s Next. And there’s a lot of stainless steel.

Also, there appear to be salad bars and really fancy pastries.

According to Hong Kong Navi, design company Landini Associates joined forces with the burger giants to create this futuristic Maccy’s near Admiralty Station, Hong Kong.

Gone are the typical fast foodie bright colours and ol’ Ronald McDonald. In their place are subdued lighting, concrete, red glass and swathes of sexy stainless steel.

Technology ruined our lives in 2015 and we’re determined to ditch it.

As well as starting a diet (as per) we’ll all be trying to read more actual books and get off Instagram.

We also want to stop browsing Facebook before bed, share less online and unfriend a few randoms.

But apparently, according to data gathered by Thomas Cook, one in ten of us can’t even stick to our resolutions for a DAY, and almost half don’t make it past January.

Here’s the top 50 resolutions we’ll be making this year… let’s see how long they last.

Top 50 modern resolutions

1. Go on a diet/lose weight

2. Go on a holiday or mini-breaks

3. Travel and see more of the world

4. Read more books

5. Drink less alcohol

New Year’s resolutions tend to be themed around ‘I’m going to lose so much weight you can’t see me when I turn to one side’, or ‘I’m going to write an ENTIRE BOOK and it will definitely be a best seller’.

We need to calm down a bit. Take it easy. Make our resolutions achievable things that make us feel good when we manage them, not sad and ashamed when we mess up.

One thing that’s worth committing to this year is yourself – your wellbeing, your happiness, and your… Read the full story

Isn’t New Year’s Eve funny?

There’s only one night’s difference between one year and the next, and yet suddenly we all have a belief that we’ve magically changed into a completely new person overnight.

In reality it’s a time full of overly optimistic plans and broken promises – not just to others, but yourself too. We might have bright ideas about what we’ll be in the new year, but we’ll never follow through.

There are a number of common resolutions we seem to make and then not long afterwards break. Here are the 11 we never actually keep.

We’ve come full circle.

Right when you didn’t think our 90s nostalgia could get any more intense, this happens. Our 2015 obsession with weird hair trends and our 1996 need to put streaks of sparkle in our hair have collided into one magical thing: icicle hair (H/T Seventeen).

It’s so 90s, it’s kind of brilliant.

The best food doesn’t just taste good. It changes your whole life.

And this cake ticks both boxes. Because our minds have been irrevocably messed with. We don’t know what to believe anymore. Is anything real? Is colour even a thing? And dear lord, will someone cut us a slice?

Baker CharlotteSometimes shared a video of a cake she made. But this was not just any cake. This was a magical cake, that changes colours as you spin it around.

We watched it about five times, and we just didn’t know what to think. What is this sorcery?

Artists aren’t happy (Picture: Kelly McKernan/Facebook)

Artists are trolling US fashion chain Old Navy after a woman shared a picture of their new T-shirt design for toddlers.

They’re also wondering what ‘creative’ in the fashion department came up with the tees emblazoned with the phrase ‘Young Aspiring Artist,’ but with the word ‘Artist’ crossed out and replaced with ‘Astronaut’ or ‘President.’

Dear Old Navy, this is deeply disappointing. As a mother and a career artist, I’m astounded that a company as large and influential as you are could approve of a design that encourages toddlers to stifle their creativity.
