Even in East London, it’s unusual for a dog to wander into a shop and order a latte.
But, yesterday evening (Monday, January 4), at around 7pm, a dog did indeed pop into Shoreditch Grind, a day-to-night espresso bar on the edge of Old Street Roundabout, and walk up to the counter ‘like it was going to order a coffee.’
The dog is believed to be a terrier mix and its owners were nowhere to be seen. Now, the shop is desperately trying to track down the dog’s owner on social media.

Card designer Unwelcome Greetings showed off the card in a video as a girl unveils the best birthday message ever.

A new gay hook-up app has just been launched but its intentions are a little more devious than most.
Unlike other apps such as Tinder and Grindr, Hanky requires the vote of other members in order to join the app.
The strict rules, which entails three existing users of the app casting a vote to decide which potential new users make the cut, have been set up by the app developers in order to keep out the ‘creeps, time-wasters and fake profiles’ which are present on other apps.
The pretentious app rejects a whopping 8 out of 10 applicants.

Costa, the UK’s biggest coffee chain, now does a vegan cake.
The Fruity Crumble, which is also gluten free, comes stamped with an official Vegan Trademark and is filled with plum jam, cranberries and sultanas.
The base and topping are made from mostly oats, rice flour, margarine and sugar, instead of butter, and obviously contains no eggs.
The 302 calorie fruit cake is made by family-run bakery Bells of Lazonby, in the Lake District.

After taking the Artificial Intelligence test, which claims to be able to predict your age and level of attractiveness by scanning a photo (preferably your best one for the most pleasing results), Reddit user window_cleaner posted his results online.
In his first attempt, he uploaded a selfie of himself in Gobi, Mongolia, posing in front of a tent.
Somehow the test managed to ignore him completely, and focused only on the tent behind. And it turns out, the tent was pretty damn attractive.
With an age score of 29, the tent got a ‘hot’ on the score of attractiveness that scales from ‘Hmmm…’ (being unattractive) to ‘Godlike’, with ‘hot’ being two notches off ‘Godlike’.

Cypriot designer Stelios Mousarris was so inspired by the film that he decided to make a piece of furniture to honour it.
The table depicts the scene in the movie where the power to bend dreams according to the dream architect’s will is demonstrated.
And just like in the film, the table folds an urban landscape on to itself.
The table was created using wood, steel and 3D printing technology.
Costing 4,000 euros (£2937.10), it’s a little pricey – but you can guarantee your neighbours won’t have the same one.
