We’re in 2016 and men are finally embracing skincare.

No longer are we just nicking our girlfriend’s face cream and hoping for the best.

Men are taking the time to choose the right products for their skin and they’re using them properly.

There’s a lot more choice available for blokes who want to moisturise without smelling like flowers.

I have to admit though, it can be a minefield walking into a store filled with male skincare products, especially now that a lot of companies that have tailored their products to capture the attention of the male market.

Where do you start?

You could just go for the product with the best packaging, or a cool name, like Dirt For Men (which actually happens to be a great product, by the way).

You could keep it simple, with a product that includes everything in one bottle – if you don’t have the patience for a separate eye cream, face cream and sunscreen.

Or maybe you just want something… Read the full story

Every family visit to India is always a guaranteed adventure.

Hot weather, beautiful scenery, ancient temples, and busy bazaars are just some of the highlights of a trip to India.

But for those of us who go to India to visit family it’s a slightly different holiday experience.

From dealing with over excited parents, to being ambushed with a selection of awkward questions from relatives, and running to the loo with Delhi belly, a trip to India is always eventful.

People are finding their childhood diary entries and they’re hilarious

Come on, admit it. We all had a diary when we were under the age of 10.

It was the place to write about our one true love, or the mean girl that snitched on us when we sneaked sweets into the classroom (actually, we’re still pretty angry about that).

Thankfully, some people didn’t throw away their diaries – and they are finding countless entries of comedy gold.

This one guy was having a really tough time… at seven years old.

This girl didn’t like small boys. Guessing her current boyfriend is at least 6ft.

The most vital thing to document in 2006 for this girl was the fact she was watching… Read the full story

This year, if things go to plan, I will be moving to the countryside (if moving to a county that straddles the M25 can be described as rural). All my columns will be about unusual leaves I have seen, or a bee that has got into my kitchen (it’s going to be awful for you). But for now I am still in cosmopolitan, up-and-coming Shepherd’s Bush, the kidney of London (it’s quite close to the heart, but smells quite a lot like p***) so adventure is never far away.

The other afternoon I took my daughter for a walk and the air was full… Read the full story

magical colour changing mermaid pillows
Oooooooh. Ahhhhh. (Picture: Facebook/Steve Noviello)

Bored of watching the cake that changes colour when you spin it? Decided what colour Michelle Obama’s dress was at the State of Union?

Sounds like it’s time for you to discover mermaid pillows.

Mermaid pillows are magical pillows covered in sequins, that change colour as you stroke a section. WhoOoOaah.

They’re not actually magical, and have not been created by mermaids. Just to be clear. They change colour thanks to sequins with one colour on one side, and a different colour on the other.

So when you brush your hand over the pillow, the sequins flip over – changing the colour of the cushion. MAGIC… Read the full story

We all lust over Adele’s perfect dramatic cat eye, Alexa Chung’s everyday flick, and the smooth, wobble-free line sitting on the eyelids of all those everyday makeup experts we see on the tube every morning.

But sadly, not all of us are blessed with the steady hand and strong heart needed to apply eyeliner. It is truly one of the great tragedies of our time.

We’ve tried it all. Stencils. Temporary eyeliner tattoos (way too fiddly). Tape.

Finally, a beauty brand has brought out a tool that could save us all. And that tool is Beautyblender’s new Liner.Designer.

The South West has a lot going for it. World-famous graffiti artists, unprecedented industrial architecture, important maritime explorations and Roman heritage is just the start.

To say our history, culture and natural prowess combines to create something extraordinary is an understatement.

Below, we feature 19 pictures that prove the South West is the most beautiful area of the UK.

Countryside in the South West is jaw-dropping at the worst of times. When it comes to Cheddar Gorge, it’s also truly unique. Located in Somerset, the National Trust attraction is 400 feet deep and three miles long, gaining the site notoriety when Britain’s oldest human skeleton was found in 1903.

A mum left bereft when her younger son hit puberty and refused to cuddle with her anymore has come up with the obvious solution.

She decided to knit a life-size replica of him and now she cuddles that instead.

Marieke Voorsluijs, a textiles designer from The Netherlands says the life-size knit took about two months to make and she had both her sons’ blessing.

‘My son is reaching puberty. We used to cuddle all the time, but those days are becoming scarce,’ she explained in an article… Read the full story

We’ve all been told that we shouldn’t wear certain things.

Magazines have dictated that women can only wear crop tops if they have flat stomachs, friends have told us that a top’s too revealing, shop assistants have suggested something ‘more flattering’.

But no one should have the right to tell you what clothes work for you, except for you.

Which is something Mallorie Dunn, the person behind clothing brand Smart Glamour, is reminding the world in her brilliant new campaign, #ImFlattered.

Instead of suggesting women cover up their ‘flaws’, she’s made them clothes to celebrate them.

You’ve met more than one bitchy shop assistant

You know what they say about girls with big feet…

Nothing, literally nothing. Because no good comes with having feet the same size as men’s.

It’s a lifetime of brutal mockery, ugly shoes, shopping trips from hell and resignation that you will never get to wear the pretty dainty heel.

Cinderella and her perfectly little feet can eff off, because you’ve lived with these 21 things too long to pretend to be nice about it.

Everyone loves a little bit of romance. Especially if said romance is initiated by your boyfriend, who is making heartfelt plans to give you the best date ever.

Except in actual fact, this guy isn’t. He is thinking more about himself this Valentine’s Day than what his girlfriend would like.

Because while he has offered her a nice walk and a movie followed by star gazing, it is all just a ploy to get her to see Deadpool with him.

Cunning.

He has posted the beginning of his plan to Reddit, under the username CapnShakey, with the caption: ‘I hope she doesn’t burn my face off.’

It looks like Ilsa was most definitely up for their romantic date.

It’s not uncommon for a breakup to turn sour.

And for this guy, it went sour pretty quickly when his ex refused to give him back an iPhone that he said was his.

He says he paid for it, it was under his name – and he’d just lent it to her to use.

Getting tired of being told no, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

So he logged into his Find My iPhone account and wiped his phone.

Then he lets his ex know what he’s done – and she slowly realises she’s on to a losing battle.

Nothing’s fair in love and war.

He started by telling her he wanted his phone back, to which she told him no.
