American Eagle Outfitters have proved once again that there is more to beauty than diets and size 0.

The latest edition to their #AerieREAL campaign – which celebrates women with varying physique, refusing to edit any of the campaign’s photos – features curvy teen model Barbie Ferreira.

It’s refreshing to see someone with a ‘normal’ body embracing every ounce of themselves.

Seeing a body move in a normal way, creasing in all the right places just like anybody else’s – without the digital manipulation giving a false impression – is refreshing.

Your life changes forever when you have a baby – and absolutely nothing can prepare you fully for the stresses and the pressures of bringing up a child.

However, if you want to get a minor insight into what you are letting yourself in for, then you really need to own a pet first.

Basically, if you can’t cope with the minor hassles owning a cat or a dog brings to your otherwise harmonious life, then there is no way on this planet that you are ready for a screaming, pooing, hungry, messy little human being who depends on you.

Ben from Ben & Jerry’s have just released a new ice cream flavour and we couldn’t be more excited.

The flavour, whilst sounding delicious, also seems to resemble something pretty close to the heart of Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s.

And he’s chosen to call it Bernie’s Yearning, a reference to Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

The tub may share some of the famous Ben and Jerry’s name name it’s been made clear that the ice cream was created by Ben alone and should not actually be associated with Ben & Jerry’s as a company.

There are reportedly only 40 of these tubs in existence.

The ice cream, which has been named ‘Bernie’s Yearning’ was introduced while Ben was standing outside a Donald Trump campaign event… Read the full story

Ah Australia, the land down under, Oz, and the place where people have Christmas on the beach.

With great weather, all the beer you could imagine, and a little known natural wonder called the Great Barrier Reef you’d be forgiven if you booked a one-way ticket in the next ten minutes.

So, to celebrate Australia Day today (Tuesday, January 26) here’s some… Read the full story

Oh and rush hour.

That time when everyone loses their goddamn minds in order to rush to jobs, they probably don’t even want to be at.

And what comes with rush hour is an intense rage when you encounter any one of the following people:

So many of us are struggling with mental health issues – anxiety, depression, OCD.

But it can still feel like we’re dealing with things all alone, isolated by our inability to talk about mental illness without feeling shamed.

This Instagram wants to change that.

Jessica Walsh started the Let’s Talk About Mental Health website and Instagram as part of an ongoing project with Timothy Goodman, called 12 Kinds of Kindness.

Step four in the 12-step Kinds of Kindness project focused on Jessica and Timothy being a little kinder to themselves by reflecting on their past… Read the full story

No one is asking to be raped, assaulted or abused (Picture: Rory Banwell)

Australian photographer Rory Banwell‘s powerful ‘Still Not Asking For It’ photo series is tackling the culture of blaming the victims of sexual assault, the implication that they ‘asked for it’, head on.

Rory’s black and white photos show men and women naked from the waist up, with messages such as ‘fashion is not an invitation,’ ‘alcohol is not an excuse’ and ‘never asking for it’, scrawled across their bodies.

In other words, regardless of what someone’s wearing, how drunk they are, who they are, no one is ever asking to be raped, sexually assaulted, or abused.

Finally, we have an excuse to turn all our vegetables into delicious deep fried snacks. Preferably dipped in some kind of equally fatty, salt-filled sauce. Or chocolate, if we’re in the mood.

According to a new study from Food Chemistry, deep-frying your vegetables could actually make them healthier.

We know. We can’t believe it either. Everything has changed.

Researchers deep-fried potatoes, tomatoes, aubergines, and pumpkins. The same vegetables were also boiled or sauteed for comparison.

If you were hiking to the top of a mountain, what would you expect to be greeted with?

The smell of cold, fresh air? Birds chirping away at you as you attempt to catch your breath, preparing to make your way back down?

That’s not all this guy found though, who hiked to the top of a mountain only to find a register book at the pinnacle.

As he’d gone to sign his name in the book – to add to the long list of other people that had somehow made it to the top of the mountain – he came across something a little odd.

Dark times are upon us. Rather than reassuring us that deep-fried vegetables are secretly healthy, or finding excuses for us to sleep more at the weekend, scientists have turned their efforts to an evil, evil mission: tricking us into eating less pizza.

The horror. Oh, the horror.

The science-y types out to destroy all our pizza-eating goals published a study in the Journal of the Association for Consumer Research.

For the study, they bought four pizzas. Then, rather than eating all four pizzas, they put two pizzas on big tables, and two on small tables.
