Beer isn’t for everyone.

You’re either into it or you’re not, which is probably why reactions to trying beer for the first time are so entertaining. Especially when filmed in slow motion.

Craft ale company Bier-Deluxe invited a bunch of people of all ages to try different types of craft beer for the first time. They were also all invited to get naked, for added weirdness.

The one way to make yoga ten times more fun? Just add some cats.

We’ve heard of doga (yoga for dogs), but we never thought yoga with cats could be a thing. Mostly because we doubted cats would be bothered.

But in honour of Adopt-a-Cat month, yoga studio Yoga at Connie’s has teamed up with pet shelter Homeward Bound to host a special class filled with adoptable cats.

Young people are drinking less so they don’t look bad on Facebook

Rashida Jones as Ann Perkins on Parks and Recreation drinking alcohol

Today in seriously shocking statistics, a new study has found that people aged 16-24 are drinking significantly less alcohol, with 27% going full on teetotal.

Released this week, the figures show a massive rise in teetotalism in the younger generation, with 27% of 16-14 year olds choosing to be alcohol-free – up from 19% in 2005. For comparison, 27% of over-65s are also teetotals, basically meaning grandkids and grandparents are just as bad as each other, alcohol-wise.

At the same time, young people binge-drinking has fallen to 18%, down from 29% in 2005. They’re still the group that binge-drink the most, but they’re doing it a lot less frequently than the same age group 10 years ago.

A perfectly pornographic collaboration.

A pair of felt tip loving friends have collaborated on a brilliantly fun and seriously NSFW art project.

Frederik Stede and Margot Fabre – the Danish duo behind the project – both have backgrounds in art and design, and simply refer to the series of images as ‘pornographic collaboration’.

The deceptively complex images, which have an abstract Picasso-esque feel, are drawn with black, red and blue felt tip pens, and depict various scenes of people getting down and dirty.

Equal parts fun and naughty; we just can’t get enough of them.

Shall we talk about toilets?

Being caught short when you’re away from home can be a true source of horror for all – I myself will do absolutely anything to avoid visiting public toilets whether they’re at work, in a shopping centre, a restaurant or a nightclub.

Aside from the fact that the majority of male public conveniences are hygiene devoid cesspits of despair, there are plenty of other reasons for wanting to stay well clear of the places.

From those awkward drunk guys who either want to hug you or punch you to the etiquette of choosing the correct urinal, here are 12 things every sane male dreads about having no alternative but to use a public loo.

Everyone’s freaking out over Matilda’s alien-like appearance.

The two-year-old has an unusual condition that causes her peepers to bulge out, leaving her unable to see.

Matilda’s owners first became aware of the issue a while back when they noticed that one of her eyes was a little squinty. Shortly after her first birthday, one of her pupils enlarged, but returned to normal size by the time her owners had taken her to the vet.

Instagram Photo

In the midst of vet appointments, the cat’s owners got in contact with the rescue centre they’d originally adopted Matilda from. Apparently, they’d been trying to reach the family for months, as two of Matilda’s littermates had developed a mysterious eye condition.

From then on, Matilda’s… Read the full story

MY EYES, MY EYES! (Picture: Youtube/ Optical Express)

OH DEAR LORD, NO!

If you can watch this video the whole way through without recoiling in horror, you’re a better person – or at least have a stronger stomach – than us.

Because despite the soothing voice over, it’s basically seven minutes of someone poking around in someone else’s eye. And that’s just not a happy place to be.

The video was posted on Youtube by Optical Express, presumably to show how quick, simple and safe laser eye surgery is. And it probably does exactly that, if you can watch the video without heaving.

Trouble is, we can’t.

22 reasons Tinder is the absolute WORST dating app

man creates machine to right swipe on tinder

Sure, swiping and judging people is fun for a bit. But let’s stop lying to ourselves: Tinder is the WORST.

Seriously. Whether you’re using it for serious dating purposes, doing some self-esteem-boosting flirting, or are just trying to get laid, Tinder is not all it’s cracked up to be. Here are 22 reasons why:

1. The realisation that the world’s hottest people are not secretly hiding away on an app

Oh, I’ve been swiping left for the last hour. This is fun.

2. The bio-related banter is awful

During my brief attempt at Tindering, my bio was ‘please don’t be a murderer’. Because murder is a serious concern.

This is obviously RIPE for great jokes or at least some kind of ‘isn’t online dating terrifying?’ connection. Instead, I got terrible attempts at banter like ‘I’m… Read the full story

I ain’t afraid of no ghost…

Actually, we can’t lie, we kinda are, and these spirit photographs are really giving us the heebie-jeebies.

These amazing images were found in a second-hand and antiquarian bookshop in Lancashire by one of the curators at the National Media Museum.

They were taken by spirit photographer William Hope, and are thought to date back to the 1920s.

William Hope was a pretty colourful character. Born in 1863, he became interested in spirit photography after he apparently captured the image of a ghost whilst taking a photograph of a friend.

Dream job alert: a company is offering people £35K to test nail polishes

Here’s your daily dose of ‘I should just pack it in and quit my job’ temptation.

Nailbox, a nail polish subscription box, is currently hiring for nail polish testers, with a pro rata salary of up to £35K.

The job is pretty much as brilliant as it sounds. The polish tester will be sent 50 polishes and accessories every month, to try, test, and review. They’ll have to take pictures of every nail experiment and make sure to take notes on what works and what doesn’t, but that’s about it. Dream job, basically.

There are some caveats to the role, but they’re pretty minor. All testers have to avoid any strenuous or nail-risking tasks, including washing dishes, gardening, or manual labour… which is essentially just an excuse to avoid helping out around the house.

Hours are flexible, and polish testers will be… Read the full story

Your BFF = practically your twin (Picture: AP)

There should be a law stating that best friends simply have to live within a five minute walking distance from one other.

Because there is nothing worse than your best friend living far away, so far away that they’re in a completely different country.

Here’s 13 things you only know if your BFF lives in another country.

1. Whatsapp is your saviour

Texting is too expensive, and besides in the age of free messenger services who even texts? LOL.

So Whatsapp is your most used app, allowing you to bombard each other constantly.

2. No internet connection = worst
