One woman has bravely opened up about her battle with breast cancer, and the tiny detail that led her to being diagnosed.

Kylie Armstrong, from Melbourne, California, has posted a photo to Facebook which reveals small dimples underneath her breast.

Worried, she visited her GP to get checked out, but there was no lump to be felt.

But Kylie’s fears weren’t eased. She had told her GP that her breast had looked different to how it usually does, and after living her arm to reveal the dimples, she was sent for a mammogram.

‘This is my Nana’s coat. My Nana died yesterday,’ one girl writes as she mourns the loss of her grandmother in a post publicly made to Facebook.

Alongside a photo of just one coat, hanging on a banister of some stairs, Amy Peckham-Driver has managed to bring us all to tears with her heartfelt tribute.

Her grandmother, who sadly died of a terminal illness, had left her coat on the banister, hung up on the last day Amy saw her arrive home, before last Christmas 2015.

The coat, which has not been moved since her grandmother passed, has had had a huge effect on Amy and the picture has helped many other… Read the full story

Whole Foods sell pre-peeled oranges in case you’re too posh to peel

A famous supermarket chain is selling pre-peeled oranges contained in plastic, because apparently rich people are too posh to peel.

Is this real life? Is the human race doomed?

Understandly, a picture of the produce is being ridiculed online.

Nathalie Gordon made a good point when she tweeted a photograph of the prepared produce.

‘If only nature would find a way to cover these oranges so we didn’t need to waste so much plastic on them.’

Her post has since been retweeted more than 50,000 times.

Whole Foods claim the six peeled and boxed in plastic mandarins was a ‘mistake’.

This actually happened (Picture: Dolce & Gabbana)

This morning on the internet, people are wondering what Dolce & Gabbana possibly thought was okay about naming a shoe from its new collection the ‘Slave Sandal’.

It’s another foot in mouth moment for the label, which has come under fire in the past for ads seeming to show ‘simulated gang rape’, and for the designers’ controversial views – last year, the Italian pair criticised same sex families and called IVF babies ‘synthetic‘.

The ‘Slave Sandal in Napa Leather with Pompoms’ recently became available for pre-order on the Dolce & Gabbana website for £1,350, as part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

This takes me back – back to my primary school days, when I begged my mum every morning to give me pigtails so I could look the same as my best friend Katie.

No matter that my hair was about five inches too short, and my pigtails were actually tiny tufts of hair sticking out of the side of my head, I was determined my hair would be on point.

So, my six-year-old self is pretty jealous of Shelley Gifford’s daughter Grace right now.

Every morning before school, Shelley plaits Grace’s hair into incredibly intricate braids.

This is just baffling (Picture: Youtube/ Belladellune)

Some women just seem to have a knack for make-up. They can spend hours in front of the mirror, practicing new ways to make their eyes look bigger and their cheekbones more prominent.

Meanwhile, the rest of us have barely got to grips with not poking ourselves in the eye with the mascara brush.

Applying make-up is a skill, and if you don’t have it – or you just hate wearing it – then some aspects of life are a struggle. Here’s what you face on a regular basis when you’re a make-up hater.

xx pics that show Irony is everywhere
Don’t do it! (Picture: Imgur)

It’s like rain on your wedding day. It’s a free ride when you’ve already paid. It’s the good advice that you just didn’t take.

It’s delicious, painful irony. And the world is full of it.

Sometimes, it’s intentional. Sometimes, it’s just a perfectly timed photo.

Look irony up in the dictionary and it’s defined as ‘a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often wryly amusing as a result.’

And you may well find one of these pictures underneath.

It’s the news that really hits home
