Yes, of course. Little Jeremy is the most adorable poppet. He is a tiny baby genius. He is so quiet and brilliant and we all LOVE seeing photo albums of him eating porridge.

But let’s be real. Kids are awful.

They’re like tiny drunk adults with no regard for cleanliness, alone time, or social etiquette. If they didn’t have the excuse of being young, no one would ever want a baby to be their friend.

One Instagram account is capturing this essential truth. It’s called ‘kids are the worst’ (true), and it shares photos and videos of, well, kids being the absolute worst.

There’s a new salad recipe book out and it’s turned salad into an art form.

Nourish was compiled, photographed and written by Amber Locke, aka Raw Vegan Blonde, a food stylist and chef who rose to fame on Instagram, where she now has 100,000 followers – and counts Jamie Oliver as a fan.

Amber upholds the notion she learned in childhood that a plate of food should have at least seven colours on it for it to be a good, healthy meal.

She runs her fruit and veg-based design business in Derbyshire with collaborators and clients including Harrods, Anthropologie, Plenish and Jamie Magazine.

The nation has spoken and our favourite fast food restaurant is *drum roll please* Five Guys.

Which is, well, surprising given they’re pretty new to the scene.

While last year’s winner Nando’s scored well on speed, value for money and atmosphere, Five Guys won on food quality, overall cleanliness and staff friendliness.

The in-depth study, which also asked asked Brits to name their favourite high street café chain, was carried out by Market Force Information.

They asked 4,565 customers to rate their last experience at each of the fast food restaurants and cafés, marking them out of five across areas such as speed of service, food quality and value for money.

Telling your friends or your other half that you’re bipolar is a big deal.

At least it was for me, anyway.

Maybe some people out there are more self-accepting or give less of a shit about what people think of them.

Personally it took me years to tell anyone outside of my immediate family.

Most of my friends and colleagues only heard I was bipolar when I decided to start writing about it here, two years ago.

So when someone does bring it up, even though it may seem like they’re saying it casually, chances are they’ve thought a lot about this moment.

It’s like his own personal Sagrada Familia. And just like Barcelona’s famous church, it’s still a work in progress.

Former monk, 88-year-old Justo Gallego Martínez, has been single-handedly building a cathedral in his home town of Mejorada del Campo, near Madrid, since the early 1960s.

He’s not an architect, he has no building experience, he has virtually no help (except, occasionally, from his six nephews), and he’s had no investment. He wakes up at 3.30am every day works all day.

If you’re wondering who’s behind the pretty wallpaper flashing up on today’s Google Doodle, it’s English textile designer William Morris and today would have been his 182nd birthday.

As well as textiles, Morris was an artist, writer, socialist and fully signed up member of the Pre-Raphaelites (a group of English painters, poets, and critics, founded in 1848 by William Holman Hunt, John Everett Millais and Dante Gabriel Rossetti).

Aminah Hart and Scott Andersen, from Victoria, Australia, first laid eyes on each other in 2013, a year after they had their daughter Leila together.

Yes, you read that right.

After having Leila by an anonymous sperm donor, Aminah set out to track him down. She found him, she fell in love with him and in December last year, she married him.

Their incredible love story has now been turned into a book called How I Met Your Father. It’s also set to be made into a film.
