The UK’s no. 1 competitive eater Adam Moran (aka YouTuber BeardMeatsFood) can eat 17 Big Macs in an hour, 7lbs of pancakes in 18 minutes and 40 Creme Eggs in 12 minutes.

But, despite regularly eating ‘stupid amounts’ of junk food, he claims the eating challenges have actually helped give him the ripped physique he always dreamed of.

Five years ago, Adam, 30, from Leeds had, by his own admission, a beer belly and love handles.

But, since then, he says he’s reduced his body fat from 25 per cent to eight per cent, thanks in part,… Read the full story

(Picture: ZelfdaF/Imgur)

Over the last few years – and certainly since Cara Delevingne came on the scene – the trend has been for brows to be big, bushy and defined.

But, it’s not easy to get those perfectly full brows – as anyone who severely overplucked when thin eyebrows were the thing in the 90s will know.

Those of us who did overdo it with the tweezers will have been left with some serious eyebrow envy every time we log on to Instagram.

Because the #brows hashtag is all too real. And it is very, very popular.

So unless you have the miracle makeup skills or enough money to pay for those ‘HD brows’, you might… Read the full story

26-year-old Samantha Jayne is the perfect ambassador for every 20-something ever.

After slaying Instagram with ‘a 25-year-old’s words and illustrations of the quarter-life #struggle’, Samantha took to YouTube to bring those words and illustrations to life, with videos comparing how millennials act on social media to how they act in real life.

Basing each of her videos on her own experiences – which she has gathered from living and working in New York at advertising agencies – she features short clips of various situations that every person entering adult life can relate to, like cancelling a night out for an evening binge of Netflix, or calling Mum every time Google tells us we’re dying.

You know what we’re talking about.

Samantha told MailOnline: ‘I think allowing ourselves to be vulnerable with each other would do wonders for our self-esteem.

Ice cream and flowers.

Both two lovely things.

But ice cream and flowers together? Well, that’s a bit different.

Häagen-Dazs has created a Little Gardens Limited Edition range and frankly it’s messing with our minds.

The two floral flavours you can now buy are Lychee Raspberry Rose and Apricot Lavender.

Lychee Raspberry Rose has Turkish rose extract, real lychees and raspberries, while Apricot Lavender features apricot sauce and apricot pieces from Morocco.

You can only buy them at London department store Liberty’s, though, presumably because they’re too posh for Tesco’s.

Match.com’s new ads suggest freckles and red hair are ‘imperfections’ (Picture: Match.com)

And you thought Mark was annoying.

Dating site Match.com has just unveiled its latest ads in the #LoveYourImperfections series on the Tube and they have left commuters seething.

The two new ads feature a woman with red hair and freckles and a person with one blue eye and one brown eye and come with the strapline: ‘If you don’t like your imperfections, someone else will’.

One Twitter user accused the website of ‘profiting by bullying’ by suggesting that freckles and eye colour make a person imperfect.

We may be mere muggles but that doesn’t mean we haven’t learnt a few things from the wizarding world.

One Harry Potter fan (aka Redditor relmicro/aka Mr Brown) from Connecticut has revealed how to build your very own Weasley-style family clock, using a Kindle Fire instead of actual magic.

For those not familiar with the Weasley family clock, Mrs Weasley uses it to track her family’s whereabouts at all times.

The clock has nine golden hands, one for every member of the household, and, in place of hours on the clock face were a series of possible locations,… Read the full story

We’ve heard about hedgehog cafes, gazed at photos of gorgeous cherry blossoms, and now we’ve discovered ice cream wrapped in gold. Yep, here’s yet another reason we need to go to Japan, stat.

An ice cream shop called Hakuichi, in Kanazawa, Japan, has started selling what might be the fanciest way to eat your favourite summer treat. Even fancier than a fudge stick instead of a Flake. Seriously.

Hakuichi’s new gold ice cream is pretty much what it sounds like, but even prettier than you’re imagining. It’s a classic ice cream cone, but the ice cream piled on top has been wrapped in gold leaf.

This weekend, one goat discovered the true struggle of becoming an internet celebrity: the loss of privacy.

All she wanted was to pop into her local Starbucks and pick up a hot beverage. Instead she faced startled coffee-drinkers openly gawping at her presence, baristas taking pictures, and the arrival of the police to escort her out of the store.

Can’t a goat just have her Venti Caramel Macchiato without a load of attention? Is that too much to ask?

We imagine she was cornered for a hundred selfies by eager teenagers, and pestered with endless questions about… Read the full story

Just so you know, this is what heaven looks like.

Also, heaven really is a place on earth. It’s a specific beach, called Huntington Dog Beach, in Southern California, on multiple specific days.

We are, of course, talking about the much-celebrated tradition of So Cal Corgi Beach Day. It’s back. Back again. Corgis are back. Tell a friend.

Or tell everyone, even your enemies, because a consort of corgis (that’s the official collective noun, FYI) is too glorious not to be shared widely and proudly.

This weekend’s corgi party was attended by more than 600 corgis.

Said corgis had all kinds of fun.

Despite the world becoming more comfortable with the idea of breastfeeding in public (thank God), there is still a lot of stigma about it.

So much so that businesses are stepping in to make it as easy as possible.

As a mother herself, Natala Bain knows just how hard it can be to nurse a baby when out in public.

So, taking initiative, and offering an incredible amount of generosity, Natala put up a sign outside of her cafe.

The Willows Cafe & Wine, in the Sydney suburb of Willoughby, is offering breastfeeding mothers a place to nurse their babies, as well as a free cup of tea… Read the full story

10 things you should never say to a twin

Having a twin has so many positives.

For a start you’ve basically got a ready-made best mate by your side from the point of your conception. And you’ve got someone who, up to a certain point in time, has had exactly the same life as you, so they ‘get you’ like no one else ‘gets you’.

On the flip side, growing up sharing a birthday is annoying. There’s no getting around it. It’s your special day, all the limelight should be heading your way, but no, you must share it with your sibling.

You will also hear certain comments and questions over, and over, and over again.

So, if you know any twins or… Read the full story

Have you ever imagined being a Disney princess? More specifically, Ariel, from The Little Mermaid?

Of course you have, who hasn’t? What’s not to dream about? That amazing tail, the cute little clamshell bras, the ability to talk to sea creatures…

Oh, and let’s not forget how awesome her hair always looks even though she lives in the water. How the hell does that even work?

Okay, it’s because it’s a cartoon.

THE ENEMY! (Picture: Getty)

It’s National Gardening Week – a blooming great celebration organised by the Royal Horticultural Society.

The week, from April 11 to April 17 this year, is for everyone green-fingered to share their passion and enjoy special events.

Gardening is an obsession that creeps up on you.

At first, the thrill of having a little outside space of your own was all about barbeques, parties, and the joys of private sunbathing.

Then one day you went to your nearest garden centre, bought a trowel and a few flowers from the shelves near the front, planted them, and stood back to admire your work.

Now, there is no going back.

Here are 18 things you only know if you… Read the full story

This is how hay fever pills can mess up your sex life

Cold Season
Oh dear. (Picture: Getty)

Very, very bad news regarding all your springtime sex in the park plans.

It turns out that – while they’ll help prevent all those sneezes putting a dampener on your sex sesh – hay fever pills could be messing up all your sexual joy. Sorry.

As you’ll know from your reduced sniffing, one of the effects of antihistamines (other than targeting the receptors that deal with histamines) is the temporary drying of mucus membranes.

This can result in side-effects like dry mouth, as hay fever tablets don’t magically know which mucus membranes need to be dried, and which should be left alone.
