Welcome to the Small Home Smart Home.

It measures just 309 square feet (that’s just 28 metres squared, or, if you prefer, the size of some people’s lounges). But it’s basically like the Tardis.

Architects have managed to pack in a full kitchen, a large bathtub, a home cinema, a gym, and even a play area for cats.

The tiny flat was built for couple Michelle Tennant and Andy Knight, who wanted to live in the heart of Hong Kong, Central district.

Where did 420 actually come from? (Picture: Getty)

Rejoice, smokers of weed (or just continue to comfortably sit and marathon-watch Netflix with a bucketload of snacks). Today is 4/20, AKA the only worldwide holiday in celebration of the joy of marijuana.

But what is 4/20? Why do we celebrate it? And what do these specific numbers have to do with weed?

First off, the easy bit. 4/20 refers to April 20, written the American way with the month first and the day second. It’s widely considered to be an annual day of marijuana joy, marked by weed-themed festivals, brands doing food offers with a weed-themed twist, and plenty of smoking.

Now, on to the history of 4/20. Buckle your seatbelts.

Taking a girl to a beach to ask her to prom? You’ve gone too far.(Picture: Getty)

Brace yourselves: prom season is here.

This doesn’t mean much in the UK. We’re free to peacefully get on with our lives, free of the pressure of buying overpriced sparkly dresses and corsages, finding a date, and throwing the perfect after-prom party.

But across the pond, something big is happening. That’s right. It’s time for students across the U.S.A to do plan ultra-romantic promposals: the act of asking their date to prom.

Students can’t just ask their crushes to go to the dance with them, though. That would be too easy. Now promposals have to be BIG, tailored to… Read the full story

Yeah, yeah, it’s only spring you’re telling yourself. But before you know it, BAM.

Summer will be here. And we have a lot of mixed feelings about that happening.

1. SUMMER IS COMING. I can’t overhype it again. Not like last year.

2. Why haven’t I booked a holiday? Is it too late to book one now?

3. Oh, that’s right. Holidays cost money.

4. …do I have a holiday instead of doing Christmas this year? Will my family forgive me if I tell them I’m deprived of vitamin D?

5. Someone’s already mentioned a beach day and that means I’ll need – gulp – a swimming costume.

6. Changing rooms all over the UK better brace themselves for what’s… Read the full story

‘Protein cooking’ is the hottest news in baking.

Fitness and food blogger Anna Sward, of Protein Pow, is a leading voice in the movement.

The mother-of-one, who lives in East Sussex, makes low-carb cakes with minimal sugar and tons of protein. She wants to change the perception that protein powders are only for bulking up or dieting.

Some of the stories people answered with, are enough to turn anyone off the idea of sharing a home. Ever.

Here are some of the worst ‘roommate experiences’ that’ll either make you extremely thankful that you have such great roommates or blessed that you live alone.

Meaning no more silver Diet Coke. No more green Coca-Cola Life. Just red cans as far as the eye can see.

Instead of entirely different can colour schemes, you’ll be able to tell each Coca-Cola type apart by a colourful border around the top and… Read the full story

There’s no doubt most of us know the heart-sinking feeling of walking past someone you find incredibly attractive and knowing you’ll probably never see them again.

We spend the rest of our day wishing we’d just said hello and wondering what the future would hold if we’d just had the nerve to do so.

Much like this man, who spotted the ‘girl of his dreams’ while shopping in his local supermarket.

After spotting a beautiful girl in a nearby aisle looking for mushrooms, he fell head over heels for her.

Though his eyes were glued to her, he was simply not brave enough to approach the girl.

Luckily for him, he had a dedicated wing-man, who took to Facebook in search of the mystery girl.

Posting to their local Woolworths page – which is located in Australia – Blake Mitchell Nicholls posted a photo of the girl, in hope she’d find it and reach out to his friend Brok.

Ka Wao is a cute little bear cub who has formed an extremely unlikely friendship with a cat called George.

The pair met at the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand rescue centre, and have been inseparable since the moment they laid eyes on each other.

Ka Wao, who is a rescued Malayan sun bear, lives with her mother Gallamair, who has been at the centre for six years.

Gallamair had grown up with Ka Wao’s father, Kaka, since they were cubs. As Kaka grew older, he became sexually mature, and so the centre made the decision to give him a vasectomy to prevent breeding.

But, the operation was not 100% successful and, a little later, Ka Wao was conceived.
