How the shape of your vagina could be affecting your orgasms

beyonce orgasm

Wondering why you’re having trouble getting off?

It could all be down to the shape of your vagina.

As we mentioned a few weeks back, studies show that the female orgasm could all be down to how the clitoris ‘migrates’ towards the vaginal wall during sex. The closer the clitoris gets to the vaginal walls, the more likely an orgasm will occur – which can be affected by some smart sex positioning.

But new research suggests that it’s not all about angles (although missionary and woman on top tend to work best). If you’re struggling to achieve orgasm, it could be because of the shape of your vagina.

vaginas

As reported by Medical Express, new research suggests that women whose clitoris and urinary opening are closer together will have a better chance of orgasm than those with a greater distance between the two.

Everyone who uses Instagram is familiar with the most popular animal accounts – maybe Tuna the chiweenie with the overbite is your favourite, or Hamilton the Hipster Cat?

Personally, I struggle to get through some days without my regular dose of Marnie, the elderly rescue dog with a permanently ridiculous expression on her face.

But what about those animals who aren’t quite so cute and cuddly? Pets don’t have to be furry to be photogenic, as these reptilian stars of social media prove.

1. Boris the Chameleon

Look at the colours on that bad boy!

An attempt by some guy to shame a young girl by claiming she looked like a cheesecake in her prom dress has sparked the sweetest of comebacks on Twitter.

Twitter users came to the teen’s defence by inviting others to celebrate their own likeness to cheesecake with the #compareyourselftocheesecake2016 hashtag.

Thereby turning something that left a bad taste in the mouth into something sweet.

After all, what’s wrong with looking like a rich, sweet, creamy, dessert?

It all started at the weekend when user @Ckerione proudly shared this picture of her looking cute in her prom gown.

Flat whites, skinny lattes and all the rest, your time is up. Real coffee connoisseurs have moved on to bigger, better and colder ways to enjoy the world’s best drink.

These are the coffee trends you need to know about.

Cold, cold coffee

Not cold in a ‘damn, I forgot to drink it’ kinda way. We mean cold in a Japanese Iced Coffee way, where fresh ground coffee is filtered and then poured over ice, and cold in a Nitro Coffee way, which is when coffee is mixed with Nitrogen and served cold from a keg like a pint of Guinness. Cold Brew coffee is expected to be a big thing this year, especially if we… Read the full story

Travel goals. (Picture: Instagram/captainlizclark)

Proof that cats make the best first mates.

Captain Liz Clark has been travelling around the world on a sailboat called Swell, which is just 11 feet wide and 40 feet long. She’s been out on the sea since 2005, and has made her way along the Western coast of Mexico and Central America.

Which is all pretty damn impressive.

When you’re busy sailing around and generally being very cool, you need a reliable first mate by your side – to offer you emotional support, keep you company, and be there for you if anything goes wrong.

So of course, Liz Clark… Read the full story

While most of us are still struggling to achieve the perfect cat-eye, one Instagrammer is totally killing it with her makeup skills.

And no, we’re not talking blending or contouring – we’re talking art. Real art. Chin art, in fact.

Laura Jenkinson is a model who also has a talent at recreating well known characters using some makeup and her chin.

Weekend breaks UK: Here’s why you should visit Bath

The Roman Baths (Picture: Getty)

The World Heritage city of Bath, just 90 minutes from London, is a stunning honey-toned city.

It lets you get lost among Georgian architecture and cobbled streets, and to take the thermal waters for which Bath is still best known.

What to do

The first time I visited Bath was on a school trip learning about the Roman Baths, discovered by the Romans sometime after they invaded in 43 AD.

Going back to this incredible city, I now have a deeper appreciation for one of the wonders of Roman Britain.

I am still fascinated that such a sophisticated bathing and temple complex existed beneath the city and was only re-discovered in the 19th century.

Why non-punishment discipline is the best way to bring up your children

If there’s one thing that parents hate, it’s being told how to bring up their kids – but hear me out on this one, particularly if you, like many, have no experience or knowledge of non-punitive discipline.

The standard norm in many a family home – and indeed a classroom – is to mould the behaviour of children via systems of rewards and sanctions.

If they misbehave, they can expect consequences and if they behave, they can expect rewards.

However, many parents are veering away from this stance and building a different atmosphere in their homes to teach their kids right from wrong – by introducing… Read the full story

Girls are thanking their boyfriend’s exes for the cringiest things

Let’s be real here – your current girlfriend probably doesn’t get on with any of your ex-girlfriends.

Sometimes ex-girlfriends can still have feelings for you/your new boyfriend.

But other times, we don’t even have a reason not to get on with these girls – we just take an instant dislike to them as if it’s just the natural thing to do.

And now, some girls are mixing these two feelings together, by thanking their boyfriend’s exes. But, unsurprisingly, it’s a rather shady ‘thank you’.

Starting off said ‘shade’ was a girl called Stephanie Monique Solis, who posted a cute photo of her and her boyfriend.

Captioning the picture with a rather long paragraph, she thanked each and every one of the girls he’d previously dated.

Yeah, she pretty much made out that in every previous relationship her boyfriend had been a part of, he was some sort of victim.

It didn’t stop other girls jumping… Read the full story

A simple, yet brilliant, concept (Picture: Facebook/Saint Marc)

There is a place in California that serves bacon by the slice from a takeaway bacon bar.

Just casually selling crispy gourmet bacon in handy takeaway slices, like it’s no big deal.

You know, in case you just need a few rashers to tide you over till lunchtime.

This isn’t any old streaky bacon either. The grab ‘n’ go selection includes apple pie flavoured bacon, coffee-rubbed bacon, wild cherry bacon, garlic parmesan bacon and hickery smoked pepper bacon.

Quick! Get it on Facebook! (Picture: Getty)

If you have a cute baby then social media is the perfect place to show her or him off.

However, when you are taking about 600 pictures a day of your little angel, it can be hard to know which ones to post.

Here is my guide to the best baby photographs to post on the internet:

1. Baby Grace Tallulah Xavier Smith arrived at 4.34am, weighing 8.4lb

So your bundle of joy has arrived! You must post the news on social media as soon as possible (or it hasn’t really happened). You must include a heavily Instagram filtered picture (because let’s face it, newborns look weird) of your child fresh from… Read the full story

Yeah. Same here.

So let’s all gaze upon some glorious views we could be looking at right now, from some pools we wish we were swimming in.

Just knowing that these pools are out there kind of makes up for the fact that we’re currently hunched over a desk with no access to fresh air. Right?

You might not have thought there were any further benefits from dealing with your monobrow than the obvious – but you’d be mistaken.

If you’re not a waxer and would need serious persuading to painfully tear your hair out at the roots to conform to society’s preference for a hairless face, this might be it.

For the month of May, Benefit cosmetics is donating all profits from brow waxes to their Bold Is Beautiful campaign, which is raising money for two charities – Look Good Feel Better, an international… Read the full story

Somebody is trying to sell rain water from ‘the day Prince left us’ on eBay

It’s no secret that when somebody who was considered an icon passes, they become even more of a global phenomenon than they were already.

And during that time, people clamour to get their hands on memorabilia for a tangible reminder of their idol.

As with all free markets though, where there are people willing to spend money, there will be people willing to sell them things. Literally any things.

Like some free rainwater they (maybe) collected on the day that Prince died.

The eBay seller offering the jar of water, dancingdave04, says it was collected from the skies outside of Prince’s Paisley Park studio, where the singer died last week.

The jar has been named ‘Purple Rain’, naturally.

Remember dancing around the maypole as a kid?

Well, May Day isn’t all ribbons and laughter, there’s actually a bit of a curious history behind the date that goes back hundreds of years.

These are rooted in pagan traditions and festivals celebrating spring and fertility – but also, for some, anti-capitalist sentiment.

Here’s what it is all about as well as some of the celebrations and traditions.

Here’s another thing to add to the list of stuff you’ve been totally screwing up all your life. Along with cutting cake, cooking bacon, peeling oranges, wrapping paper, opening beer and breathing.

Okay we don’t know about the last one, but you’re basically doing it wrong.

You’re also saying it wrong.

But, thankfully, someone’s put together a list of the most commonly mispronounced brand names, including Hyundai, Ikea and Nutella, and shown us how to pronounce them properly instead.

You might have known you were getting Nutella wrong, but what about Ikea?

I hear you scoffing already – what does a MAN know about pain in comparison to childbirth? But the list of agonies I am about to deliver have not come from me, but from mums and scientists. Honest!

I am lucky enough not to have experienced most of these pains – and I have definitely never given birth to a child – but after taking to social media, parenting forums and looking into scientific studies, there were certain ailments that cropped up again and again as being worse than labour.

While it is important to add that the pain of childbirth is impossible to… Read the full story

A group of elderly residents got to relive their prom night, thanks to some thoughtful high school students.

Last week, the students from the TERRA Environmental Research Institute put on a senior prom for 75 elderly residents of The Palace Nursing & Rehab Center in Miami, Florida, and their families.

All the prom guests were aged between 80 and 101 and, by all accounts, they had a truly unforgettable night.

As well as making corsages for the ladies, the students organised food, music, dancing, flowers, prom pictures, and most, importantly, a vote for prom king and queen.

13 tips for everyone who’s rubbish at cooking

I love food, I eat far too much of the stuff. And more than anything I would love to be able to cook it. But I can’t, because I am rubbish in the kitchen.

As I dream of being a modern, imaginative and successful cook the secrets of the stove continue to elude me.

Whilst I may have other talents, regrettably I just don’t seem to have the skills or lightness of touch required to be even half way decent. Dishes end up burnt or raw. Flavours are lost. Nothing rises. Baking is something other people do on TV.

If I do try to create something for work or school or friends – such as a tray of cupcakes or buns – I usually find that while everyone is very nice about them they will only ever have the one.

Even the dog turns his nose up at some of my creations (probably because of the… Read the full story
