What’s your dream? Everybody’s got a dream (Picture: Disney)

Disney World in Florida, has announced that couples can now marry inside the Magic Kingdom, right in front of Cinderella’s castle.

Yes, dreams really do come true.

The park’s East Plaza Garden is the ultimate fairytale wedding venue, with its lush floral gardens and fountains.

Would-be Disney princesses will even be able to travel in their very own horse-drawn carriage down Main Street, before marrying their Prince Charming in front of Cinder’s castle (and up to 100 guests), right at the heart of the Magic Kingdom.

We can probably imagine what this cat is thinking already tbh (Picture: Getty)

We’re really not sure we want to know what they’re thinking, but, regardless, someone’s created a collar that allows your cat to speak with a human voice.

The Temptations Catterbox 3D-printed collar uses a microphone, speaker, Bluetooth technology, and WiFi to translate your pet’s meows into speech.

It will give voice to your cat’s innermost thoughts ‘for the very first time’, say creators London ad agency adam&eveDDB.

So now we can finally know if they are indeed planning to kill us all and take over the world (as we suspect), or whether they just really hate the way you slurp your tea.

Either way, it’s… Read the full story

Meghann’s ‘meternity’ concept has not gone down well with parents (Picture: Amazon/Twitter)

Meghann Foye is the 38-year-old author of new book Meternity, about a frazzled editor who pretends to be pregnant so she can take some time off to figure out her life.

Meghann recently did an interview with the New York Post, explaining why she believes all non-parents (and particularly non-mums) should be able to take similar paid ‘meternity’ leave.

‘The more I thought about it, the more I came to believe in the value of a “meternity” leave — which is, to me, a sabbatical-like break that allows women and, to a lesser degree, men to shift their focus… Read the full story

Melissa Hie is eating her way around the world, one amazing bite at a time.

In summer 2013, the Singapore-based blogger went on her first solo backpacking trip to Europe and wanted to take some pics of her travels. The problem is, she’s not a big fan of selfies.

But, she is a fan of food.

‘I am always eating so I took pictures of food at whatever memorable site I was in,’ she explains on her blog. ‘Then I posted these pictures to my personal Facebook where I received positive feedback from friends so I kept on taking one at every… Read the full story

Alfie was impatient to get going on his first Tinder date (Picture: Michaela Flowers)

First dates can be pretty stressful. We’ve all secretly wanted to take our best friend along with us to make it easier, but, sadly, it’s not deemed acceptable dating etiquette, or something.

Unless, of course, your best friend is an adorable beagle called Alfie.

Last week, 19-year-old Aussie student Michaela Flowers took her pup Alfie along with her on a Tinder date, and she shared the whole thing with fellow dog-loving members of the Cool Dog Group on Facebook.

Woman standing scales with digital display, low section, elevated view

There’s many things you should expect a potential employer to ask you.

But how much you weigh? Well that’s a new one.

And an apparently difficult one too, for one man anyway, who somehow managed to mess his answer up completely.

Stating his height as 17cm (rather than 176cm) by mistake – the company sent him an urgent alert which requested he see his GP immediately, because he was classed as dangerously overweight.

YouTuber and brother of the man, Thom O’Neill, told the story in full to a friend over a WhatsApp conversation

Even after he called them to let them know it was a mistake, they wouldn’t listen

Let’s face it, we’ve all at one point been in a situation where we’ve found a passing stranger, customer or perhaps the person serving us our coffee attractive.

You may have dreamed about what could have been but probably not this:

This guy managed to ‘procure’ his crush’s number from a colleague and began anonymously texting them

He actually started the conversation asking whether she thought his actions were weird

If you want an event that’s pure over-the-top fashion, then the Met Gala is your gal.

It’s been dubbed the ‘Super Bowl of Fashion’ [with a slient dahling] by the glorious Andre Leon Talley, and it’s organised by The Almighty Bob herself Anna Wintour.

Every year, there’s a notional theme – based on the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit – and every year, stars wear whatever they damn please.

In other words, anything goes and we love it.

So here’s what we know about tonight’s Met Gala.

Sometimes, saying goodbye to a teacher can be hard.

They’ve been a part of your life for so long, taught you so many things and negotiated their way through your detentions many a time.

Harshest teacher ever makes students who are late copy out 1,000 emojis during detention

Understandably, it can be a little upsetting when it’s finally time to move on with your life.

So when student teacher Zach received a touching goodbye from his student, we don’t blame him for saying he’s going to miss him.

While producing a lab report, the student was told he was to be on academic suspension due to his poor grades.

But he got on with his lab teacher so well, he decided to hand in a lab report after all. But it was much more emotional than the rest.

First, he gave his teacher the low-down

This is a wonderful example of a mum who doesn’t fully understand technology and doesn’t care one bit.

Classic mum.

Daily Dot writer Rae Vota only recently discovered that her mum Nancy had been messaging her on Twitter for at least two years.

Rae was completely oblivious to these messages, because her mum neglected to ‘@’ her in them.

In other words, her mum has been mercilessly subtweeting (subtweeting being the internet version of talking about someone behind their back) her for years.

Definitely since 2014. Possibly since circa 2010.

A photographer has spoken out in anger after her photo of a mother giving birth was reported and removed by Facebook.

Morag Hastings is a mother-of-three who specialises in birth photography.

An eye-opening shot of hers – which saw a mother, giving birth standing upright, catching her baby’s head as it crowned – made a huge impression on other mothers after it was posted to Facebook.

According to Morag, the post had received around 2,000 shares, with its… Read the full story

*NSFW: Yes there is nudity in this piece, explicit language and a lot of talk of lube, you have been warned*

You’d think your best friends would be the people you can count on, wouldn’t you?

Not if your friends are anything like 19-year-old Craig’s, anyway, who thought it was hilarious to catfish him into thinking a random girl wanted to sleep with him.

It all started with a somewhat flirty text message exchange (which we have checked with Craig and he has given permission for us to tell his story).

Of course, you’d be sceptical when texting a stranger – but Craig thought a nude photo was enough to confirm he was talking to a girl.

Daniela Sea and Andy Leek are two artists who matched on Tinder.

Noticing Daniela’s bio included the fact she was open to collaboration ideas, Andy started the conversation with an artistic proposal.

He suggested that they turn their Tinder match into a project – by going on a date and separately filming the whole thing to give a potential audience the chance to watch a date from two different perspectives.

Agreeing to Andy’s idea, they swapped numbers and got straight to work.

Plane food doesn’t have the best rep these days.

Whatever the description, you will almost certainly be presented with sort of cheesy/tomato based pasta dish, a stone cold roll, and a tiny salad of spiky leaves.

In other words, a big ol’ bowl of disappointment.

We might be able to deliver orgasms by drone, build driverless cars, and make cats speak. But we can’t deliver a decent meal at 35,000 feet.

Which is strange. Because we certainly managed it back in the day, judging by these… Read the full story

Who in their right mind would deny two people the happiness of being in love? (Picture: Getty)

So I recently visited The Maldives and wrote about it.

Among the responses from readers on our Facebook page was one asking why I hadn’t mentioned the fact it’s illegal to be gay there.

I didn’t mention it because I didn’t know. The first time I went I met a gay couple on their honeymoon. They’d had a great time.

Nevertheless, homosexuality is illegal there. It’s illegal in lots of places.

My eldest nephew is gay and, if he gets married, on top of the stress of working out where he can afford to honeymoon, whether they want to go beach… Read the full story

Reddit user, Muctur, was left feeling truly heartbroken after purchasing a used record.

But it wasn’t the record – a copy of Soundgarden’s Superunknown – itself that moved him to tears, it was a hidden letter that accompanied it, written by the previous owner’s mother.

The letter explained exactly what had happened in order for the record to end up in his hands – and he most definitely was not prepared for the heart-wrenching story he was going to read.

The letter reads:

Dear Collector –

Just in case you want to know where this record is coming from:

There comes a time in every parent’s life when they suddenly find themselves having to find an appropriate word to call the more private parts of the human anatomy.

As a mother of two daughters under four, I decided to research my options via the parents on my Facebook page Surviving A Sleep Thief and had some pretty amusing results.

Here are the some of the hilarious words parents use for female private parts.

Front Bum/Bottom

This ranked as the most commonly used terms, but I am not keen.

I think the humble female genitalia deserves its own word!

Welcome to the craziest night in fashion (Picture: Getty)

The theme of the Met Gala 2016 was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.

And the stars really ran with the whole futuristic vibe. There was more metallics, latex and chain mail on the red carpet than you could shake a stick at (and, don’t worry, Jared Leto did bring a stick).

In terms of best dressed, Claire Danes pretty much stole the show in her light-up Zac Posen fairytale dress, Kendall Jenner looked out of this world in cut-out Versace, and Gigi and Zayn won best couple for their his ‘n’ hers Robocop look.
