We all take a trip to Greggs very seriously – we have ranked the pasties and even done a quiz on identifying them in the past – but we have found the most passionate fans of the bakery chain yet and couldn’t love them more.

The gang on the Facebook page Greggs Talk UK/EU have gathered to bask in their shared love of steak bakes and sausage rolls and have now started submitting very detailed reviews on the products available taking note of consistency, filling to pastry ratio and the way they were served by the named member of staff.

We applaud their dedication to ensure the world knows… Read the full story

Mencap, a charity representing people with learning disabilities, created a petition urging OkCupid to remove the question from their survey, calling it ‘inappropriate, offensive and discriminatory’ to those with learning disabilities.

Ciara Lawrence, a campaign manager for Mencap, argues that by even asking the question,… Read the full story

A Lidl shopper managed to overturn a £90 parking fine, thanks to his detailed stick drawing.

Teacher Steve Crowley, 40, received a demand through the post asking him to prove he’d shopped at his local store in Yate, near Bristol, when using the car park.

Unable to find the receipt from his shop, he decided to draw them a picture instead.

His detailed sketch of the family shopping trip features a stick-man self-portrait with a speech bubble that reads: ‘Hey kids! It’s approximately 12.30pm on 01.04.16! Time to go shopping!’

It also depicts a Lidl employee leaning against a wall ‘having a sneaky cigarette’ when he… Read the full story

The food porn scene in Australia is pretty hot and heavy.

Last year, they gave us towering, cream-laden FreakShakes that brought all guys and girls to the yard. They are also home to the pale pink candyfloss taco and purple unicorn shakes.

And don’t even get us started on the Tella Balls Nutella cafe which just opened in Sydney.

Which is why Yelp decided Melbourne would be the perfect place to run its Food Porn Festival, a photo contest celebrating food at its most provocative. It aims to showcase the most stunning food porn images captured by photographers at some of the best… Read the full story

Champagne gif

It is with great relief that we bring you the news – handily, just ahead of the hottest weekend of the year – that the prosecco drought may be over before it even started.

So stop worrying, put your feet up and crack open a nice cold bottle of bubbly, because we’re no longer set to run out. Not this summer anyway.

Only last month, experts issued dire warnings about supplies, with claims we Brits were drinking Italy dry.

Figures published in The Grocer revealed that Brits drank more than 40 million litres of the Italian sparkling wine last year, which was eight times the amount we were drinking back in 2012.

In fact, a quarter of all prosecco produced is consumed in Britain.

Marilyn

Because, you know, we get thirsty.

The problem, experts said, is that prosecco can only be produced in nine provinces in Italy and demand was overtaking supply.

However, it… Read the full story

What have you learned about love? (Picture: Getty)

Okay, so your first ‘proper’ relationship didn’t work out. You’re a little bit heartbroken, you can’t stop eating sharing size bars of Dairy Milk, and things are all a bit rubbish.

But there is a bright side.

Every relationship, from its start to its terrible end, teaches you something. You just need to look through what happened for your own personal lessons, listen to them, and learn.

Or if you haven’t just come out of a relationship, you can always steal other people’s lessons instead. Sneaky.

People are currently sharing the lessons they learned from their first ‘real’ relationship on Reddit – and they’re all pretty important (apart from… Read the full story

Oh, the classic 90s to early 2000s disco. What a joy.

The gelled spikes. The one-shouldered tops decorated with butterflies. The body glitter. Oh, the body glitter.

It was truly magical. And we never want those trends to come back ever, ever again.

Apart from one – which actually has managed to crawl its way back from the memory boxes under our beds. We are, of course, talking about hair gems. They’re back. And this time, they’re fashion-y.

Yup. Hair gems are a trend once again. But rather than colourful butterflies and diamantes, the new hair gems are a little bit subtler, with a delicate edge.

What ever hotel room needs. (Picture: Imgur/jnut731)

As Drake (probably) once said: don’t you ever get bored of hotel rooms?

One man has a solution. That solution is to ask the hotel to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Not with extra cushions or fluffy towels, or even a monogrammed robe. Of course not. We’re talking photos of celebrities framed on the bed, an imagined portrait, and a perhaps a puppy picture.

This brave man has asked for all of this and more. And the hotels have happily obliged. His friend jnut731 shared his accomplishments on Imgur, explaining that this is how he entertains himself while travelling on… Read the full story

As you might have seen from my last video – how to get a full body workout using only a suitcase – I am often on the road and looking for ways to get my workout in when my schedule is packed out and I can’t get to the gym.

This time, I have devised a new routine with my trainer Maurizio Tangari that uses both hand towels and face cloths from your hotel bathroom.

It’s a very cool, unconventional way to work out your core (the hotel won’t mind at all, right?) – and it means you really don’t need to pack your luggage with dedicated gym gear.
