If you haven’t seen the wanderlust-inspiring photos of the #FollowMeTo couple, you’ve probably seen loads of other loved-up pairs copying their classic pose.

Photographer Murad Osmann has gained Instagram fame by following his wife Natalia Zakharova all around the world, capturing their adventures in photos showing Natalia gently leading Murad by the hand.

The photo project is pretty cute, to be fair.

But the reality of travelling as a couple probably isn’t quite so glossy and romantic.

This seems normal. (Picture: meowbox)

Sometimes you just want to show your cat some real affection.

Not just the soothing strokes you enjoy, or the snuggles they always wriggle away from, but an actual display of love that they can understand. You know, like their mothers did when they were kittens.

But licking your cat like you’re their mother just feels a bit weird. Right? Especially when you’re left with a mouthful of cat fur and the lingering taste of dirt and cat-ness in your mouth.

I was extremely intoxicated last night. Was a little shiny in me T-Zone. So I decided putting a lil powder on my face in the middle of the dance floor was a stellar idea. Couldn't see because it was dark. Waited an hour before checking my handy work. Amazing

Remember that scene in White Chicks, when Karen approaches Heath feeling confident as hell, only to find she’s slapped a whole load of white powder on her face?

Well, it’s FINALLY HAPPENED IN REAL LIFE. This is not a drill.

In what could be one of the funniest/most embarrassing/most brilliant beauty blunders ever, Michelle Andrews, a popular writer and blogger, posted a snap… Read the full story

Employee of the year. (Picture: Canadian North)

Everyone give up now. Employee of the month, no, the year, will forever be an honour given to Meow Meow the cat.

Why? Because she steps up in a crisis. She’s not above doing grunt work. And she makes great coffee.

In response to the Fort McMurray wildfires which left nearly 100,000 people without a place to go, Canadian North airlines accomodated passengers who needed to leave the area with their pets by allowing animals to fly in their economy section.

Which would have been a lovely gesture in itself.

But staff took their niceness one step further when a… Read the full story

Sex is not a taboo subject anymore.

Most people feel comfortable with discussing their bedroom antics with friends and the average number of partners people have in their lifetime has increased dramatically in recent years.

However, there is still an element of mystery that shrouds a ‘swinging party’.

From whether people really throw their car keys into a bowl to how the fun gets started – here’s 12… Read the full story

Two twin boys have been given a permission slip to climb trees by their mother, after they were targeted by a stranger.

Julie Holcombe’s two sixth-grade sons, Ryan and Patrick, had been hanging out with their friends at their usual tree spot in a field, in Yardley, Pennsylvania.

Just a week ago, the group were just doing their usual thing of climbing trees when an unknown man approached them.

According to an interview with TODAY Parents, the man asked the kids to get off the tree, telling them he had been watching them climbing for a while… Read the full story

When it comes to making grandparents happy, they don’t expect much.

A cup of tea, a nice lunch, a cuddle, or just an hour of your time will do.

Michael Latimer, however, has totally upped the game by buying his grandparents a car.

His grandparents had an old car that was due for MOT and was never going to pass.

So, he bought them a new one. Casual.

Dan Brown just announced plans to release an abridged version The Da Vinci code, aimed specifically at a Young Adult audience.

The new version of the book will be released on September 8 in paperback and e-book form, and will be written for ages 13+, with the same plot as the original but with new cover designs.

Which sounds very nice for Dan Brown, considering all the cash he made from his first go at things.

But a large portion of the internet is not reacting to the announcement with the joy and excitement that Dan Brown may have expected.

This substitute teacher’s honest account of an awful day will make you regret all those times you didn’t listen in class

In all honesty, when I was in school, my behaviour totally changed when I had a substitute teacher.

It was the best feeling in the world, seeing one walk into the classroom and tell you they’d be taking the lesson for the day.

Because what us kids heard at that time was this: ‘I don’t know what you did yesterday and I don’t know what you’ll be doing tomorrow, so this lesson is probably entirely pointless… so you may as well all just do whatever you like.’

Therefore, that lesson was the perfect opportunity to have a conversation with my friends about the boy I really fancied (FYI, he totally rejected me).

So, when one substitute teacher posted a rather traumatic account of their day to Reddit, I couldn’t not read it.

And after doing so, I totally regret every occasion I didn’t sit down, shut up and do the work the substitute teacher had requested of me.

We’ll be the first to admit that we like our food to look as good as it tastes. You know, for Instagramming purposes.

But today we learned an important lesson: we do not want out food to look too adorable. Because it makes it really, really hard to go ahead and eat it.

Amateur baker Vickie Liu is a master of making sweet treats with a difference – every one of her creations is unbelievably cute.

Seriously. She makes doughnuts with cat ears, little biscuits with smiley faces, even cookies that offer compliments. It would be near impossible to actually go ahead and eat them.… Read the full story

For some, menstrual cups are a body-positive, eco-friendly, money-saving miracle.

For others? Not so much.

And this woman, in fact, learned that the hard way.

In an anonymous in a story posted to Reddit, she told of how just a few months ago, she invested in a menstrual cup – a silicone cup that is inserted into the vagina to collect blood during menstruation.

For those of you who aren’t familiar, the cup remains inside the vagina until full, when it is pulled out and the contents are poured down the toilet. You then wash the cup and re-insert it. It’s a great way to save money on feminine care and can also… Read the full story

You have arranged to meet up with friends for a ‘few quick drinks’ on a week night so you are definitely, seriously NOT going to get drunk.

But in spite of your very best intentions these things may happen:

1. This is nice…

Two drinks in someone will say something like; ‘this is so nice, we should do this more often.’ Then the next morning your hangover cruelly reminds you WHY you do not do it very often.

2. Selfies

At one point someone decides that it is time for a photograph! Who cares that you are half cut with dip down your dress.

giphy (1)

This dad thought he was doing his wife a favour when he agreed to drive his wife’s car to pick the kids up after work so she could go out with friends.

Instead, Ben Patterson’s generosity landed him in a truly regrettable situation when during the route home his son, Declan, projectile vomited all over himself.

To make matters even worse, Ben really can’t stand the smell of puke. Can’t stand it to the point where it made him throw up himself, in a horrendous case of chain-reaction vomiting.

When he texted his wife to let her know the situation, things went from bad to worse at a rapid speed – and the (one-sided) conversation got increasingly hilarious.

Poor dad just wanted to do his wife a favour

And things just kept going downhill – with police randomly driving by and believing he was intoxicated

It’s safe to say, his wife owes him BIG TIME.

And at least it… Read the full story

It started with Oreo bagels last week.

The so-called Oreo Overload, sold at The Bagel Nook in Freehold, New Jersey, features Oreos swirled through the bagel itself, crumbled in the filling and mixed into the cream cheese.

It widened our culinary horizons and now we can’t stop thinking about what else we can do with Oreos.

And it turns out there’s a ton of stuff you can do with the American biscuits other than dunk them into a glass milk.

From cheesecakes to smoothies to cookies and deep-fried delights, you can chop, blend, chuck and bake Oreos into the mix to make them 1,000 x better.
