When searching for staff, it’s understandable that employers have a certain set of criteria to meet.

No matter what the industry, every potential boss wants someone hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic.

Some places, however, are a little more specific. Like this one, who openly advertised a new position in their shop window.

The advert, which was placed in the window of William Rose Butchers in East Dulwich, London, reads:

Saturday staff required,

No drama queens

No drunks

No drug addicts

No emotional wrecks

No mummys boys

No scruffs

Hard working YES

Living with someone who is suffering from postnatal depression (PND) can be tough.

You feel helpless, lost and almost resentful about the effect it is having on what is supposed to be a happy time.

While there are no magical words you can say that will banish the illness, there are ways in which you can support a loved one through PND:

1. Knowledge is power. Find out as much as you can about the illness. This will give you a greater understanding about what your partner is going through.

2. Get support for yourself. Mental illness has an impact on the whole family. Find others in the same boat (charities such as Home-Start… Read the full story

This is what it’s like to have psoriasis. (Picture: Instagram/Ciena Rae Nelson)

You’d be forgiven if the first person you think of when someone says ‘psoriasis’ is Kim Kardashian.

Because let’s be real. No one really talks about it. Even Kim only mentioned it a few times on Keeping Up, and we’ve never seen her share a photo with her skin condition on display.

And that needs to change. Because there are millions of people around the world suffering with psoriasis, and it’s kind of ridiculous that we hardly ever hear about it.

One woman is breaking the silence.

No one seems to know much about Dashik Gubanova, other than that she is Russian, and she has very, very long hair.

Having racked up more than 126,000 followers, Dashik has become a bit of an Instagram celebrity. She’s known as the real-life Russian Rapunzel.

Which is a fitting title, really, considering her hair reaches past her knees.

Dashik says she’s been growing her for the past 13 years, and has no plans to cut it any time soon (her goal is to get her hair to reach her toes).

Hilarious little girl breaks up with her mum in a birthday card

One of the best things about young children is that they’re often hilariously honest.

Some of the things they come out with are just brutal – and could be potentially offensive – but we let them off because we all know they don’t mean it in a bad way (we hope).

This little girl, however, definitely knew what she was saying.

Writing in a birthday card, the 7-year-old girl let her mother know that while she really enjoyed being her daughter – it was time to move on.

Of course, it was quite hurtful for poor mum, but the chilled way the independent little girl expressed her feelings definitely helped soften the blow.

Polite, honest, and strong as hell.

Oh, and according to her mum, who posted the letter to Reddit, her funny kid really enjoys texting her dad the poop emoji – so… Read the full story

Would you get a ‘bitch massage?’ (Picture: Getty)

Snuggling up with a hot water bottle helps, sure. But it doesn’t feel particularly luxurious or badass.

The Bitch Massage, meanwhile, ticks both boxes. It’s a new massage-based treatment that’s meant to fix not just period cramps, but also all the stress and rubbish feelings connected to your PMS.

It was created by Lara Katsman of New York’s Haven Spa, and costs $140 (£95) for an hour. Which yes, is a bit much. But you’re on your period. You deserve to treat yourself.

Knowing the root issue of my feelings has helped me to understand myself better (Picture: Getty)

Anxiety and depression are something I’ve battled with for a large part of my life. It’s no big deal, it’s a chemical imbalance in the brain and I am by no means the first or the last person who will have to live with it.

However, I have learnt that living with it is made a lot more bearable since identifying the causes of it.

It took me a long time to open up about my mental health problems. It’s not something that I want to define me, and I’d got used to bottling it up and pretending I was fine. This,… Read the full story

Saving the world one beer at a time. (Picture: We Believe/Caters)

A six pack of beer is a simple pleasure. It’s great. Especially consumed on the beach or as part of a picnic in the park.

The one thing you probably don’t think about when you finish up and toss your six-pack’s packaging in the bin? Those plastic rings that hold your cans in place.

But those rings are actually the cause of some very serious problems. The plastic rings often end up in the ocean (along with other rubbish), where they get caught around animals’ necks and strangle them.

Who drinks more – married people or singles? (Picture: Getty)

Ah, the long, loved-up marriage years. A time to say goodbye to downing shots of tequila and hello to cosy nights in with bottles of wine.

That’s how I think it goes, anyway. I’m hopelessly single and don’t even like wine.

But have you ever wondered exactly how tying the knot affects how much alcohol you get through? Does marriage make you reach for large glasses of wine or sip G&Ts every other night, or does the reduced frequency of club nights help you stay well below your limits?

A new study has the answer.

Must. Not. Swear (Picture: Getty)

Thanks to this handy guide that recently went viral we now know how to avoid using swear words in the workplace – but what about when you are at home with your children?

Before I became a mum I rarely swore, now there is not a day that goes by when I am not secretly cursing about something.

As much as I adore my children,  some days I am just one step away from saying all the swears. Fortunately, I came up with a few handy replacements:

(Profanity warning!)

1. OLD PHASE: For f***’s sake!

NEW PHRASE: What now, darling?

2. OLD PHASE: Piss… Read the full story
