We should all be a bit more like nine-year-old Khloe.

At just eight years old, Khloe started her own initiative called Khloe Kares. With the help of her grandma, she sews reusable bags which she then fills with essential supplies, then gives these bags and their contents to the homeless women in her community.

Khloe and her mum explained to PopSugar that her movement started when she kept seeing homeless people in her… Read the full story

Life is not like the movies. (Picture: Getty)

It’s a classic romantic movie moment.

One person realises they deeply, truly love another person. That other person is about to fly away to another country to start a new life. The first person now has to race to the airport in a dramatic battle against the clock, to profess their love, propose, and live happily ever after.

But in real life, this, well, wouldn’t happen.

There’s a LOAD of security, for one thing. No one will let you past the initial check-in gates. Even if you make it through that bit, you’ll likely be a sweaty, sputtering mess.

So, yeah. Reality doesn’t quite live up to romantic comedy. Listen to writer… Read the full story

So dreamy. (Picture: Instagram/eryn85)

Now Blac Chyna’s gone and dyed her hair ‘aqua berry’ (a fancy name for teal at the top and sea green through the ends) mermaid hair in blue tones is officially a trend. And we’re obsessed.

And while Blac Chyna’s look is proooobably a wig and not a permanent hair change, we’re seriously tempted to hit the dye and try out this trend for ourselves.

Because yeah, it’s a little out there. It probably isn’t best suited for anyone working in an traditional, old-fashioned office.

But just look at how pretty it is.

1. Blac Chyna’s hair is incred.

There comes a time in everyone’s life when they grow up and realise there’s more exciting things than a pick ‘n’ mix.

Or at least so I’m told – I’m 34 and it still hasn’t happened for me yet.

Whether you first fell in love with those bright rows of promise in Woolworths (and please don’t spoil things by admitting it was the promise of hyperactivity and weight gain), found joy in penny sweets at the local shop when they actually cost a penny each or in more recent times, when you have to take out a second student loan to buy a… Read the full story

Mum was horrified to find these pills in her teenage daughter’s bedroom, not realising they were actually totally harmless (Picture: Ashley Banks/Amazon)

This mum is Everymum.

While searching for a calculator in her 16-year-old daughter’s bedroom this weekend, a Texas mum was horrified to discover a plastic bag containing several brightly coloured pills.

It’s every parent’s nightmare. Mum immediately texted her daughter Ashley Banks (yes, we’re totally picturing Ashley Banks from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air too) to demand she returned home immediately.

She also told Ashley that her dad was on his way home for a family conference. In other words, this was very serious indeed.

Organising a date night can be seriously hard when you’re a parent, especially if you have trouble finding a sitter.

But one children’s play centre is totally changing the game by transforming themselves into a fine dining restaurant once a month to offer parents a romantic night out with accompanying childcare to make sure they have a completely stress-free evening.

The only problem? It’s in Melbourne. But hopefully it’ll inspire someone to make it happen over here in the UK and elsewhere, too.

Travels with my chicken (Picture: Travel Yvinec/Instagram)

For the last two years, 24-year-old French sailor Guirec Soudee has been travelling the world with a red hen called Monique.

It hasn’t all been plain sailing. Sometimes, Guirec gets a little tired of Monique’s sh*t. Literally.

However, he does always have a handy supply of eggs on board.

Since he was a young man growing up in Brittany, Guirec dreamt of buying a sailboat and taking it round the world.

The NHS won’t fund a drug that stops people getting HIV – is this their most irresponsible decision of all time?

It’s official, the NHS won’t fund a drug that stops people getting HIV.

It says it’s up to local authorities (ie the council) to deal with HIV prevention.

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, known as Prep, can cut people’s chances of catching HIV by up to 99 percent, if taken daily.

But the NHS say it is not their responsibility to provide it.

According to The Terrence Higgins Trust there are more people living with HIV in the UK than ever before.

We are suffering the worst HIV epidemic of any large country in western Europe, with around 103,700 people living with HIV.

Cookies. Seem a pretty legit reason for getting a tattoo, right? (Picture: Getty)

About five years ago, I was given the ultimate cookie recipe. It delivered the perfect chocolate chip cookie every time. Crispy on the outside, chewy and chocolatey on the inside.

And then I lost the piece of paper with the recipe on. Because I’m a disorganised mess.

Ever since, I’ve been attempting to recreate sweet cookie nirvana, with varying levels of success.

So, I sort of understand where this guy was coming from. Sort of.

Over the weekend, Redditor Rudecarp from Minnesota, US, shared a picture of a tattoo that belonged to a guy ‘who calls himself Mango’ whom he met… Read the full story

If you love something, you treat it with love, respect and dignity.

Unless you’re a gran with too many cable ties to hand and the things you love most are realistic meerkat models.

Twitter user Becca Davies recently shared a tweet with her followers that told how her gran was a huge – and we’re talking HUGE – fan of meerkats.

And to demonstrate her love of the little animals, her gran had bought three life-like models to decorate her garden.

Sure, it sounds innocent enough. But there’s just one problem here. We’ll let you see for yourself:

A bride-to-be and her proud fiancé are proving that love conquers trolls, after people tried to body-shame their engagement pictures.

Mzznaki Tetteh, a nurse from Ghana, recently got engaged to construction worker Kojo Amoah.

After posing for a series of celebratory pictures, the couple both shared some of the photos on social media, never for a moment thinking that their happy moment would end up the butt of cruel online jokes.

One image in particular, showing Kojo lifting up his deliriously happy bride-to-be and captioned ‘Yaaaaayyyyee’ by Mzznaki, seemed to bring all the trolls crawling out of their dark basements.

Today is the first day of Ramadan, and many Muslims are starting one of the warmest weeks of the year by fasting.

Waking up before sunrise to eat and pray and then not eating, drinking or smoking all the way to sunset.

It’s a tough one this year for British Muslims as it’s more than a 12-hour fast, but we can do it!

So to get started during the Islamic holy month, here’s 16 little things people who are observing it can totally relate to.

It’s 2016 and period ads have finally ditched the rollerblades and blue blood

It’s 2016 and advertising agencies may finally be getting real about periods.

BodyForm just released its latest ad campaign and, for the first time ever, a period ad contains images of real blood. Revolutionary, we know.

Not only that, but there isn’t a bikini-clad rollerblader, a smiling woman on a zipwire, or an improbably happy skydiver in sight.

Most of all, BodyForm has been winning plaudits on Twitter for doing away with the highly disconcerting vials of blue liquid traditionally used in period ads to represent menstrual blood.

Because, for some reason, a long time ago, ad agencies got together and decided that showing actual blood in period ads was way too terrifying for audiences and that using a test tube full of blue liquid resembling anti-freeze was far less likely to cause mass-hysteria.

There are over a million regular horse riders in the UK from all walks of life.

Yet years of Flambards, Poldark and showjumping on television at Christmas seem to have given the general public the impression that riders are a snobbish breed who speak in cut glass accents and live on country estates, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

Here then are 8 things that people assume when you tell them you spend your spare time rollicking around the countryside on a four-legged friend.

It’s none of these. They’re too pretty (Picture: Getty)

A team of experts spent three months trying to determine the world’s ugliest colour.

And, after detailed research into which colours generated the most negative reactions among the general public, the dubious honour goes to Pantone 448C, also known as opaque couché – a sludgy brown colour that was alternately described by respondents as ‘tar’, ‘dirty’ and even ‘death’.

Charming.

But why, you might well ask, are a team of experts throwing so much shade at a colour that was already pretty dreary to begin with?
