Rosie says she’s done with Starbucks over this ‘misspelling’ (Picture: PA Real Life)

A 22-year-old says she was left fuming after she realised a Starbucks barista had written ‘Virgin’ instead of her name on her strawberry Frappuccino.

Rosie Anderson, a dental nurse from Bromley, only noticed the ‘mistake’ after she’d left the south London Starbucks.

She was so angry, she later contacted Starbucks’ customer service team, but only got an automated email response. After following it up, she received a letter of apology with two drinks vouchers enclosed.

Rosie visited the Starbucks on her way to Victoria Coach Station on May 18. She placed her order for a strawberry and cream Frappuccino with whipped cream on top… Read the full story

Would you be more up for buying condoms if they looked a little cuter?

That’s what these women want to find out.

A group of students at Tainan University of Technology in Taiwan have created a snazzy new condom brand as part of their senior project. Oops condoms are designed to be cute, decorated with images of fruit, vegetables, and cupcakes.

The project’s lead, Ye Wu, told Broadly: ‘We want to make it less embarrassing for people to want condoms, especially women.

Euro 2016 begins today.

What’s that I hear some of you cry… ‘what is Euro 2016?’

If you think it’s related to the Brexit debate, then you’re actually not far off, as it will involve England knocking itself out of something.

In case you didn’t know, Euro 2016 is the feast of football that is about to start in France.

The European Championships are played every four years and England never win them. However, Britain is going to go football mad for the next month, as England, Wales and Northern Ireland have all qualified, as well as the Republic of Ireland.

Not just in terms of relaxation and stress relief. Red wine is good for you. It brings people together. Red wine is magical.

And now, apparently, it can also work wonders for your hair. Created by hairstylist John Blaine, Vine de la Vie is a fancy new haircare line infused with red wine extract, that promises to leave your hair healthier, richer in colour, and softer.

Others, however, have theirs after getting drunk in Magaluf and end up on Tattoo Fixers seeking a cover-up for their holiday mess.

You might remember that this time last year we wrote about an incredible tent that could change camping forever.

No longer would you need to shiver in your sleeping bag in a hoodie only to wake up and boil in the morning.

Last year it was at Kickstarter level, but inventor Derek O’Sullivan, 38, from Fenit, Ireland, managed to raise $50,000 for the project and just a year later the real deal exists.

Stroppy child leaves rather aggressive note for dad in bar of soap

If you want your message understood loud and clear, why not say it with soap.

That’s according to one child, anyway, who decided the best way to let their dad know they weren’t happy with him, was to scratch: ‘I hate Dad’ into a bar of Palmolive soap.

Poor dad, Reddit user Be_mused, posted the photo – which was captioned ‘It’s the small things that make being a parent so rewarding’ online, where it has gone on to receive over 2,500 comments.

While we’re not totally sure what dad did wrong – we’re guessing he’s dealing with one stroppy child at the moment.

And even when the upset wears off – the insults certainly won’t.

As one user brilliantly pointed out, he’ll be rubbing the hatred all over his body until the soap runs out.

Oi, Londoners. Don’t feel like you’re any better than the rest of the world just because we’ve got the U.K.’s first naked restaurant. London isn’t the only place offering people the opportunity to eat fancy meals with their pants off.

Tokyo is set to open its own naked restaurant called The Amrita, offering an entirely organic menu you can enjoy while in your organic clothes-free state.

How exciting.

The only downer? Japan’s naked restaurant is a little stricter than ours. For one thing, you won’t be allowed to be entirely naked. You’ll need to wear little paper underwear to shield your bits. Fair… Read the full story

Make this raspberry gin and tonic for World Gin Day

Tomorrow is World Gin Day and what better way to celebrate than with a fresh gin and tonic.

This gin and tonic was inspired by a trip to my local farmers’ market where I found an array of seasonal berries. I bought several different varieties including blackberries and raspberries to create seasonal cocktails. I decided to take the raspberries and make a simple syrup. Not only is this simple syrup tasty but also comes out a beautiful colour.

To make this simple syrup combine one-cup sugar with one-cup water then add 15 raspberries. Bring this mixture to a boil and cook until the syrup dissolves. Cool mixture and use… Read the full story

Look familiar? (Picture: Getty)

Sure, watching the football from comfort from your own sofa, cold beers waiting in the fridge, is great.

But, there’s nothing quite like the atmosphere you get at the pub, watching it on a giant screen, your heart in your mouth, with your fellow supporters.

You know, the moment you go 1-0 up, the whole pub erupts, and you get half your pint down your top?

And of course, there’s always the nerve-shredding tension of a quarter final penalty shoot-out – shared with 200 of your inebriated countrymen.

So, here’s 16 London pubs and venues where you can run the full gamut of football emotions over the next month (fingers crossed you’re still interested come July… Read the full story

Little boy could not look less happy to be spending time at the fair

Remember that face you used to make as a child, when you’d hear the ice cream man, and your mum would yell: ‘There’s choc ices in the fridge!’?

Well, one boy has managed to capture that look down to a T – except he wasn’t refused ice cream.

No, quite the opposite, in fact.

The boy, whose name is D’Quadre, had actually been taken to the fair by his aunt, Katana, as a treat.

Katana, who uses Twitter handle @TheeHeartthrob, hoped to see D’Quadre with a big smile on his face.

But no matter what fairground ride he tried, he just couldn’t seem to muster a smile.

Truth be told, he looked downright miserable.

Which, though was probably somewhat frustrating for his aunt, ended up giving over a thousands other people something to smile about, after she posted photos of her moody nephew to Twitter.

She captioned the pictures: ‘When your nephew is so over the fair…’

Summer has finally hit (the odd flash flood not withstanding) and we humans are all hopelessly unprepared.

Not like these dogs.

These dogs were born for summer. They know how to keep cool while all around them lose their chill.

They aren’t chained to their iPhones, slaves to their smartphones. They know how to just relax and soak up the sun.

Let these pups teach you how to summer.

We appreciate you more than you know. (Picture: Getty)

So the person you’re dating has admitted they have depression. Or you walked in on them crying because they’d forgotten to buy cereal, and you’re starting to wonder if something’s wrong.

Don’t panic. Depressed people aren’t ‘crazy’. Depression isn’t something you can catch. They’re still the person you fancy and (hopefully) love, they’re just dealing with a brain that keeps f*cking them over.

You really don’t need to change how you treat them or dramatically alter your behaviour. There are just a few things you should probably know.

1. You’ll need to understand what depression actually is

So pretty. (Picture: Instagram/amber__skye)

Earlier this week, we joyfully announced an end to the reign of rainbow food, and welcomed a new era of galaxy food.

The first foodie option hopping on the trend? The super fancy galaxy macaron. It’s taking over Instagram and we’re a little obsessed.

Just to recap, galaxy food is any type of food that’s been decorated with shades of blue, black, and purple, usually with a bit of shimmer involved. You know, to look like a galaxy.

While the galaxy cake kicked things off, it’s the galaxy macaron that’s captured our hearts. Mostly because each one is so damn pretty.

Woman with no internet spends two weeks complaining with pictures of her cats

It sucks having no internet.

But you know what sucks more? Sitting on the phone for hours at a time just to get the damn thing you’ve paid for fixed – which often also amounts in a rather costly phone bill too.

After five such futile phone calls, one woman decided to master the art of complaining in a different, more convincing way.

Laura Carrie’s internet had stopped working five days before – and, as she approached a week of being broadband-less, there was only so much she could take.

The company had provided Laura with a pre-paid phone so that she could access the internet from there, but as a… Read the full story

How to make this gimlet lime and soda cake for World Gin Day

The gimlet cocktail was popular in the 1920s and featured in The Savoy Cocktail Book (1930).

The original version was made with lime cordial but modern versions, less sweet, use gin, lime juice and soda water.

Raymond Chandler had his detective drink gimlets in ‘The Long Goodbye’ so it’s a vintage drink with style, more unusual than a classic gin and tonic.

Soda water can also be used as a raising agent for cakes so I created this ‘gimlet’ gateau to celebrate World Gin Day. Cake and cocktails, a perfect combination for a summery afternoon tea.
