Nope, we’re still not tired of adorable animal friendships. And we never will be.

Keeva is a tiny French bulldog puppy who lives in Tennessee with her owners and a pig named Piper.

Keeva and Piper get along, but they’re not exactly BFFs. So Keeva was overjoyed when her family rescued another little piglet for her to play with, named Peanut.

Peanut had been rescued from life in a little cage, where he was being raised to be eaten. Keeva’s family took him in, and Keeva and Peanut quickly hit it off.

9 of the most annoying toys that parents hate

While toys are a great way to occupy and entertain young children there are some I just wish had never been invented:

Here are nine of my worst:

1. Electronic noisy toys

Kids are noisy enough without giving them the ability to make more noise at the touch of a button ABOUT 500 TIMES A DAY.

Some of them even make noise when nobody is playing with them! Luring our children back into their cycle of endless jabbering ‘come and play with me’ songs. YES. I am looking at you V Tech Crawl Ball.

Penis-themed fashion has been having a bit of a moment lately, but no designer has nailed the trend quite like Raf Simons.

At his show in Florence this week, he debuted the jacket we never knew we needed: a boner jacket.

No, not a jacket for your boner, which would also be glorious. But a jacket that celebrates the art of the boner, that embraces the boner, and that is emblazoned with – you guessed it – a boner.

When you’re at a party and you can’t think of anything to say (Picture: Happy Tails/Facebook)

This is Beja. Beja recently went to a pool party at the Happy Tails Resort doggy day care in Norfolk, Virginia.

They’ve just started hosting pool parties and it’s fair to say they’re a hit with most of the residents.

Except, perhaps, with Beja. Because the Chesapeake Bay Retriever is all of us suffering social anxiety at a party.

All around you, people seem like they’re having the best time, while you stand alone, wondering when it might be time to go home.

It’s not the average person’s idea of a relaxing Sunday. But for Kaitlin, piercing hooks through her skin and getting hoisted up in the air is one of her favourite ways to kill a few hours.

She’s not alone. The art of body suspension is incredibly popular all around the world, among everyone from body modification enthusiasts to… Read the full story

Temper, temper! We have all been known to lose our rag from time to time – after all, the world can be an infuriating place.

But are you one of the many people who are far quicker to lose your cool than you would like to be? Do minor little things annoy you and do people know you as someone who is a bit of a hotwire?

If so, here are just some of the things you might be able to relate to. They may even make you angry.

We’ve all been there, worrying about  whether we’re doing something wrong during sex.

It’s normal.

Am I going too slow? Too fast? Oh my god I’m sweating like crazy. Do I touch that? Oh no, back up, I shouldn’t have touched that.

You know what I’m saying.

And a bunch of guys are here to make the situation 10 times worse by actually sharing the ‘least pleasant things’ girls have tried to do during sex.

Sure, the information will be beneficial for future sexual encounters – but nobody wants to see something deemed as ‘unpleasant’ and think, ‘Oh god, I so did that.’ No one wants to relate.

But girls, if you do, don’t worry. Each to their own, remember? Right, take a deep breath. Ready? Here we go:

1. Talking about non-sexual things.

‘Starting a non-sexy conversation while we are doing it. Is this really the time to comment that we need milk?’

I know. We never thought we’d be writing this headline either.

But here we are, armed with the knowledge that the toilet paper – sorry, ‘bottom skin care’ – said on Gwyneth Paltrow’s website Goop to be ‘the gold standard of toilet paper’ will be the butt wipe of choice at Glastonbury.

[NB: We don’t know for certain that it’s actually Gwyneth’s personal paper of choice… After all, even multi-millionaire celebrities would think twice about wiping their bottom… Read the full story

In today’s news of ‘What the hell is wrong with people?’, an ignorant man has been captured verbally abusing a breastfeeding mother in a Target cafe.

How to tell if your eggs are fresh

Jessie Maher, a new-mother from Connecticut, US, was breastfeeding her newborn when a customer began shouting at her.

Although she managed to get most of what happened caught on camera, Jessie missed out what actually started the whole upset.

Jessie was feeding her child some lunch, she says, when the stranger shouted: ‘Can’t you do that somewhere else?… Read the full story

WHAT ARE YOU HIDING, EGGS? (Picture: Getty)

You wake up on a Sunday morning, hungry. You decide to be a sensible, responsible adult and skip heading to McDonald’s or dropping a load of cash on overpriced brunch. The wisest option: to pop down to the kitchen and make some poached eggs on toast/a fry-up/any other form of cooked egg deliciousness.

If you’re lucky, you’ll already have eggs downstairs, ready and waiting for you. Which will lead you on to the next big question: exactly how fresh are these eggs?

It’s an important thing to ask. No one wants old eggs, particularly when poaching.

The ultimate lazy pasta recipe: Cacio e pepe spaghetti

The ultimate quick pasta meal is to bung a jar of pesto on spaghetti, but there is a new lazy pasta dinner in town – cacio e pepe.

Originally a specialty of Rome, this dish has been popularised by the latest star in the London restaurant scene, a ‘pasta bar’ near to Borough Market called Padella.

For the reasonable price of £6 you can rock up to sit at a white marble counter and order ‘pici cacio e pepe’, fresh pasta with grated pecorino cheese (cacio is Roman dialect for cheese) and black pepper. It’s absolutely fantastic. So good there will probably be a massive queue if you go.

pro brownies

A child’s spirit is unbeatable.

When they set themselves challenges, they’ll attempt to get it as perfect as possible.

There's a place where chilling out is a competitive sport

That’s exactly what this child did, to welcome her dad home from a business trip with a lovely batch of brownies.

She probably spent hours thinking about how to make them, the correct recipe and even how they were presented.

And when her dad got home, he was presented with the perfect brownies.

Or, should we say: Brown-Es

Last minute Fathers Day present alert: Gentleman’s Tasting Menu at M Victoria Street

It’s a cliche to say it, but dads are notoriously difficult to buy for.

They either say they don’t need anything, that your presence is their present (yeah, thanks Dad, but I still need to get you something, so throw me a frickin’ bone here), or they ask for something truly depressing, like the Dremel drill bit No. 664DR, which is the least festive thing ever to wrap up.

So you often end up taking matters into your own hands, and wondering… Read the full story

Would you stay in a cardboard tent? (Picture: KarTent)

Two Dutch entrepreneurs want to revolutionise your summer festival – by replacing your canvas tent with cardboard.

The KarTent is the brainchild of architect Jan Portheine and industrial designer Wout Kommer. It was developed to solve the problem of all the unwanted tents left behind by weary revellers who just want to get home and get in the shower.

Apparently, one in four people ditch their tent at the end of a festival.

In fact, it was one particular picture that inspired Jan and Wout to look for a more eco-friendly camping option – a photo taken of Glastonbury’s field of broken tents after all the campers… Read the full story

Ban brunch. (Picture: Myles Goode/metro.co.uk)

The weekend is brunch time – two days of Whatsapp group chatting to discuss the fact that you and your friends NEED to catch up, followed by intense deliberation of which brunch spot to hit up, followed by picking a time and place to meet. FUN.

It’s also time for us to accept the truth.

The truth that – as hyped up as it may be – brunch really isn’t the greatest meal around. It’s actually the worst.

I know. It’s hard to hear. No one likes to hear eggs benedict being slandered.

A mum has shared what she feels many new parents are scared to admit.

In a Facebook post, Storm-Manea Ellyatt spoke out about the realities of parenting and the ‘sick joke’ it can be.

She described how parenting adverts and social media do not completely depict the struggles that come with being a parent.

‘Not once did I see an ad with a mum locked in her cupboard crying in her leaked, stained pjs from three days ago, covered in sweat and vomit, praying to every god imaginable for the strength and patience to go back to the sh*t show that is now their… Read the full story

A reminder: Father’s Day isn’t all about men and their biological kids.

It can also be a celebration of father figures. Of mums. Of adoptive parents.

And of course, of people and their dogs. They’re all members of the family too, you know?

In honour of these unsung heroes who take care of dogs as dads, Chantal Adair of The Dog Styler brought in men and their dogs for a special Father’s Day photoshoot.

The results are pretty glorious.

A woman has set a new bar for job hunters everywhere after she printed her CV on a chocolate bar.

Renata Chunderbalsingh, from Sydney, Australia, works in education but wants a change.

Because her experience lies solely within education, she knows she needs to do everything in her power to stand out.

Hoping to land herself a job within market research, Renata created her own CV chocolate bar wrapper, which included all her relevant information where the ‘nutrition’ section would be, printed copies, and wrapped several Lindt chocolate bars.

Because if you’re going to send someone chocolate in the hopes of getting a job, you can’t send them just any old chocolate.

Being a parent is a true joy. It’s also stressful, hectic, and – very occasionally, when the kids are asleep or are too young to do anything interesting – a bit boring.
