Guy's 7th Grade Story About How He Got His Girlfriend Pregnant Without Having Sex Is Hilarious
(Credit: MG Films)

Sex education in schools was mostly about watching an old video tape of a woman giving birth.

These three best friends have matching tattoos and there's quite a story behind them

Sure, it’s good to know how babies are born (even if it is a little gruesome for those who still thought they came from a stork in the sky) – but it’d probably be more helpful to know how babies are actually made.

That way you can’t accidentally fall pregnant or at the very least, think you’ve… Read the full story

After much speculation, Kylie Jenner has announced the follow up to her sellout Lip Kits – introducing Kyshadow.

Can you see what she did there?

The first Kyshadow Kit, which launches today (July 26) on kyliecosmetics.com at 3pm PST (which is 11pm UK time) is the Bronze palette and Kylie tells us she’s been wearing it ‘like every day for the past five to six months. Every Snapchat video, every Instagram you’ve seen me in’.

In other words, if you want lids like King Kylie, then you need this swag in your makeup bag.

Anyone need a blender? (Picture: Craigslist)

A woman has listed the blender her ex sent her as a parting gift on Craigslist and it’s brutal.

If you’re after a great deal on a top of the range blender, it’s worth a read. But, even if you couldn’t care less about blenders, this is gripping.

The ad is entitled ‘Wanna put my tender heart in a blender’ – a line from an old Eve 6 song apparently – and accompanied by an arresting profile pic.

This might be why our periods sync up

Scientists still don’t have a definitive answer to whether or not period-syncing is a real thing – despite all the anecdotal evidence and women proclaiming that yes, it happens, and it’s a pretty rubbish experience when you’re in a houseshare.

This is mostly because no one’s entirely sure how it works. How do our bodies work out when other women nearby are on their periods? Why do some women seem to experience this phenomenon while others don’t?

But one thing we may be a little closer to understanding… Read the full story

Wands up

Sadly, we can’t magic up a few more zeros on our bank balance, but it seems it is at least now possible to make contactless payments by wand.

Finally.

The world’s first magic wand payment system for muggles has been developed to coincide with the new Harry Potter play: ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’.

To enable contactless payments, a chip has been embedded in the tip of the wand, which just needs to be tapped or placed near a contactless terminal to process the payment.

It’s entirely up to you if you want to shout Accio at the same time.

Here it is in action (we can only apologise for their really sh*t Dumbledore stand-in):

Eight Ollivander19 magic payment wands have been created by Card Cutters, specialists in payment terminals, and will work on any purchase up to the value of £30.

Farewell, cronut. You have been dethroned.

The new on-trend way to eat layers of flaky pastry? The filled croissant, as created by chef Thiago Silva.

It all started with the birthday cake croissant – a simple croissant filled with rainbow sprinkles and a mascarpone filling. Yum. Next came the red velvet croissant, packed with cream cheese frosting.

Something was happening. Something big.

A croissant with no filling became a disappointment. Empty. Lacking. We wanted something more.

Myrtle is fitter than you (Picture: Archant)

Here’s further proof, in case you need it, that you are less active than a woman in her late 80s.

Meet Myrtle Turner from Saxmundham, Suffolk, or Marvellous Myrtle as she’s known in some parts. She’s finally quitting her job as a fitness trainer – at the age of 86.

Myrtle went to her first regular keep-fit class in 1958. Four years later, she took her first class – at that time in September 1962, she says it was virtually unheard of for a woman to lead a fitness class.

Since then, she’s run regular sessions all over Suffolk.

And, although she’ll no longer be taking charge of the classes, she… Read the full story

When it comes to dream holidays, we’re pretty easy to please.

Guarantee nice weather, throw in some amazing views, and add some activities and we’re sorted.

But there’s one way for a holiday destination to gain major bonus points: animals. Cute animals.

Think puppy island, holiday homes with resident cats, and a place filled with bunnies.

So when the Smithsonian made us aware of a tiny town filled with wild ponies, we were pretty jazzed about the whole thing. This place is now the top of our dream holiday list.

Stanley has taken a liking to the new rug. We can’t think why (Picture: Mercury)

A poodle called Stanley is causing chaos for his family after developing a penchant for lying on the living room rug.

The problem is, the rug is the perfect match for his grey/black fur, which makes him a sleeping trip hazard for the family of five.

It wasn’t until Deb Lythgoe, 34, brought the shaggy, speckled rug home from the shop that she and fiancé Pete Chisnall spotted the striking similarity to the family pet.

And it’s now become a bit of a problem after Stanley took a liking to the soft shag-pile and now spends most of his days sprawled… Read the full story

Five ways to stop anxiety winning Dave Anderson
(Picture: Dave Anderson for Metro.co.uk)

As anyone who suffers from anxiety knows, there is no quick fix or miracle cure.

I’ve experienced it throughout my life: overwhelmingly negative thoughts, shortness of breath, rapid heartbeat, night terrors.

Why does the tiny barman in my brain insist on serving me such an exciting symptomatic cocktail?

Everyone’s different obviously: I’m only qualified to talk about my own anxiety.

But here are five ways I’ve personally discovered not to let anxiety win:

Understand it

Go to the doctor.

Yes I know, it’s Anxiety 101, but it took me years to finally go and get some help.

I had a session with a psychiatrist, which was surprisingly un-scary… Read the full story

Fancy having more sex? ‘Course you do. Here’s how you can (according to science).

Two separate studies published in the British Journal of Psychology have found a pretty convincing reason for us to all be donating to charity and walking puppies at shelters: people who are more charitable tend to have more sex. Right then.

The first study asked single man and women to describe how much charity work they take part in (if any), and how frequently they have sex.

Researchers found that straight women received more sexual attention from when they were more charitably active, while men who were… Read the full story

No need to make a wish for some (Picture: Getty)

In today’s slightly random survey news, it’s been revealed that July 28 is the best date for a birthday.

We’d wish you many happy returns for Thursday, but, quite frankly, you don’t need them.

Because those born on July 28 have an extra happy birthday, according to a new poll, commissioned by Interflora.

Researchers interviewed 2,000 Brits about their birthdays and analysed contributing factors including chance of sunshine, the proximity to payday and the average number of presents received.

July 28 was decreed the best birthday date of all, thanks to the likelihood of good weather, the closeness to payday and the ‘feel good’ summer factor –… Read the full story

We wear what we want. (Picture: Twitter/GraceFVictory)

When you’re a woman, you get bombarded with a lot of ‘rules’ about what you should and shouldn’t wear.

Don’t wear short shorts if you don’t have a thigh gap. Don’t wear prints if you’re curvy. If you’re over 30, give up the mini skirts.

All of those rules are total bullsh*t. And we’re tired of it.

So we welcome the #WeWearWhatWeWant trend with arms open and wardrobes ready.

The trend was started by Simone Mariposa, a 23-year-old plus-size blogger. She started to urge her followers to share selfies with the hashtag after seeing a story about a plus-size woman who’d been criticised for what she was wearing.

You would think your wedding day is the one day you’re guaranteed to be the centre of attention.

But, this bride didn’t count on her three-year-old niece making a run for it during the ceremony.

In a brilliant outtake from their wedding video, Tom and Katie Quirk are seen exchanging their vows in a ceremony overlooking Melbourne’s Albert Park Lake.

But, suddenly, the camera pans out and a tiny figure in white taffeta can be seen making a dash for the lake, with a woman in hot pursuit.

Okay, that’s it. Our trust has been broken. Our belief in the world is in shattered pieces on the floor. Everything is awful.

We could just about handle the parmesan revelation (no, it’s not actually parmesan). We slowly learned to accept that the lobster we put in our mouths isn’t actually lobster. Even learning that we’ve never eaten real wasabi wasn’t enough to push us past our breaking point.

But this is too damn far. This bit of information messes with the very fabric of British culture. This changes everything.

YouTuber Tom Scott has revealed to us all that the vinegar… Read the full story
