So cute. Until you turn the lights off (Picture: Price Right Home)

Perhaps, some things just aren’t meant to be found.

This Finding Dory SoftPal nightlight is described as a ‘soft cuddly light’ which ‘provides a gentle glow’ to help your little ones drift off into pleasant, Pixar-approved dreams.

And, to be fair, it looks adorable with that big friendly grin and those kooky goggle eyes.

But, as one man found out, Dory takes on a slightly more sinister glow when the lights go down.

‘Bought this cute Finding Dory lamp to give to my friend’s daughter… almost gave me a heart attack when I brought it home and turned it on,’ wrote Benjamin Knight on… Read the full story

Spot the kid having the most fun in music class.

A clip of a little boy dissolving into peals of laughter during his Musical Minds class in Levittown, New York, is proving infectious.

We dare you not to smile as the little guy cracks up during a class rendition of Clap Your Hands Together.

The video was posted on YouTube by his music teacher on July 14 and has been viewed over 2.3 million times.

The music teacher strums a guitar as she leads the sing-a-long and, as the music speeds up, so too does the little boy’s laughter.

Shiba Inu are notoriously curious pups. They’re forever peering through hedges and small holes to see what’s happening on the street.

It’s what we love about them. Along with the fact that, no matter how small the hole they have to stick their heads through, or how uncomfortable the bush they find themselves in, they still keep on smiling.

Parents aren’t loving New Look’s PJs (Picture: FaeSteffi/Twitter)

To be honest, the whole concept of a ‘cheat day’ is unappealing to us.

Why should it be ‘cheating’ to eat something you enjoy? Why should you feel guilty about eating a slice of pizza?

Aren’t we just promoting an unhealthy relationship with food?

But, if it’s bad enough talking about adults having ‘cheat days’ then it’s an even more dangerous message to be sending to young girls.

Which is why people aren’t happy with the placement of these New Look pyjamas.

Shopper Steff Benton spotted these ‘cheat day’ PJs on sale in her local store, in the 915 range – that’s the range specifically aimed at teens.

Most people would think that it’s healthy and necessary to trust your partner fully and give them the benefit of the doubt where possible.

After all, nobody wants to date a bunny boiler who demands to go through your messages every few hours, do they?

But scientists are now saying that we’re all a bit too smug about our relationships.

Apparently, we all seem to presume that our own partners are highly unlikely to stray – unlike the average member of the opposite sex.

In a recent study, researchers looked at what daters and spouses thought about the frequency of cheating in their own and other people’s relationships.

Avocados are a gift to mankind – there’s no denying that. But the one thing that lets them down is their ability to go from a green rock to a brown bag of mush over night.

And when you’ve just forked out £2 on pack, that can be jarring.

But one company has answered our prayers and come up with a machine that slows down the browning process – without chemicals.

The Australia-based company, Naturo Technologies, has come up with the Natavo Zero– which they say will set  ‘a new standard for cut and pulped avocado’.

The technology claims to give avocados a minimum of 10… Read the full story

Underwear campaigns are the worst. You only have to watch a Victoria Secret’s ad to put on 10lbs.

And as for actually looking like the models do once you’ve actually bought the stuff…

But one underwear label is taking one for the team by banning their campaign models from being retouched.

Modibodi is an Australian brand which specialises in ‘highly technical underwear designed to empower women by protecting them against life’s annoying but very common unmentionables’.

That includes sweat, light bladder leaks, menstrual onset, spotting, discharge, odour and breast milk leaks.

Jessy on Monday vs. Jessy on Saturday night (Picture: Mercury Press)

Jessy looks a little different on the weekends.

In her day job, 22-year-old professional makeup artist Jessy Malone from Dublin, focuses on creating dream makeup looks for her clients.

But, outside of work, she prefers something a little more experimental.

After all, we guess smokey eyes and ‘glowing’ skin can get a little, um, dull when you’re doing it all day, everyday.

The talented artist performs the nightmarish transformations on herself and they can take up to two hours, using a mix of makeup, latex, grease paints and clay.

If you’ve got really light or patchy eyebrows then you’ve probably tried a load of things to up your brow game. After all, with people like Cara Delevingne on every magazine, it’s hard not to have brow envy.

But now, YouTube vlogger Jennifer Chiu says you can create your very own natural eyebrow tint without even leaving the kitchen.

It’s quick, cheap and perfect, she claims, for anyone who’s tinted their brows in the past and has had a reaction or irritation. And all it involves is leftover coffee grounds, cocoa powder and coconut oil.

9 ways bipolar disorder being hereditary has helped me deal with the condition

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder just six months ago – but it didn’t come as a shock, in fact, it was a long time coming.

You see, I had been receiving help from mental health services for 5 years, and throughout these 5 years, I was waiting for my diagnosis.

I had been frequently mis-diagnosed beforehand and, as a teenager, was fobbed off with diagnoses of ‘hormones’ and ‘teen angst’ until things got really serious and I classed as a ‘danger to myself’.

When I finally received the bipolar diagnosis, I felt a pang of, ‘I told you so,’ rather than ‘Oh my… Read the full story

Warning: do NOT put weed up your vagina

Most of us have sat in university living rooms surrounded by spliff-stupefied stoners at some point or other. Some of us still do.

But are we running as greater risk to our health as we would be if everyone smoked cigarettes instead?

Well according to new research, weed could be even more dangerous to passive smokers.

new study by researchers at the University of California San Francisco exposed rats to one minute of secondhand marijuana smoke and then one minute of cigarette smoke.

They found the harmful cardiovascular effects to the arteries lasted three times longer in rats exposed to the cannabis smoke than those breathing in tobacco.

Olivia doesn’t want to ‘bounce back’, thanks (Picture: Olivia White/Instagram)

There are lots of things a mum of two small children cares about – getting them to sleep through the night is probably up there. Dealing with vomit (theirs) and heartburn (yours) are probably biggies.

‘Bouncing back’ shouldn’t really be one them.

And, in fact, new mum and blogger Olivia White, 27, from Melbourne, really couldn’t care less about her pre-pregnancy body.

Olivia is mum to to little girls – two-year-old Annabelle and little sister Theodora Mae, who arrived on on February 24 this year – and, as she explained in an honest Facebook post a few days ago, she has no wish to… Read the full story

I used to love a Boots Meal Deal. A fizzy drink, sandwich and a packet of Flamin’ Hot Monster Munch for less than £3 (back in the day) couldn’t be beaten.

But then Jamie Oliver got involved and suddenly there was falafel in everything.

These days, I’m totally out of the loop when it comes to top notch meal deal selections.

We feel ya… (Picture: Giphy)

When it comes to working out, we’re all definitely cutting a few corners and making some bad decisions.

The gym is supposed to be a strictly workout-only space, with rules and expectations.

However we don’t always stick to these and do things like spend at least 30 minutes texting before even making it anywhere near the cross trainer.

Or how about trying desperately to flirt with the really cute personal trainer?

No matter how little or often you actually go, we bet you’re guilty of these.

1. So MUCH sweat

It’s not the actual sweating part that is unacceptable, because we all sweat.

But what is unacceptable is when you’ve bounced off a machine or… Read the full story
