Ever fancied having dinner with Roald Dahl’s gruesome twosome The Twits?

No? Ah well, regardless, theatre company Les Enfants Terribles have got together with the ‘culinary deviants’ at Bompas & Parr to bring us an immersive dining experience called Dinner at The Twits.

It’s adult-only. No nasty, nosy children allowed.

(Although, apparently, children between the ages of 14 and 16 can be admitted on the understanding that they do not smile, laugh, or play with the Twits’ exquisite food).

Vlogger CopperCab first became an internet sensation back in 2010 with the viral video, ‘Gingers Do Have Souls’.

That video got over 40.5 million views, with Michael Kittrell (aka CopperCab) calling for a boycott of South Park, saying it encouraged anti-red head bullying.

And now, the YouTube star has published another ballsy video.

This time, to come out as transgender.

Now known as Claire, she says that she tried filming the new video ‘100 times’ as she was fighting an anxiety attack during filming.

Inflammatory bowel disease is a debilitating, incurable condition that often results in major surgeries, a lifetime on medication and an increased risk of other complications such as arthritis, eye problems and blood clots.

Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are the two main forms of IBD, a condition which as a whole affects one in every 250 people in the UK.

Alongside the diagnosis and the complications that come with it, each one of these 250 people also has to deal with a number of comments from people who simply don’t understand how they can be ‘sick’ when they look okay from the outside.

‘The opposite of fair is dark and that is normal and lovely too,’ Says Megha, above.

With cosmetic companies humming the tune of lightening, brightening, whitening and even creams to whiten our vaginas, it seems that we are still living in a culture where we must be fair to be beautiful.

In India, the issue is even more pronounced, as Meera Ganapathi, editor of Soup in Mumbai finds out.

‘I have no trauma attached to growing up with dark skin but when I moved to fairly liberal Mumbai aged 21, did I first hear the term “dusky” associated with me,’ she says.

Love you

To tell someone you love them first is to really put your heart out there. It can be pretty scary.

Because there’s always that fear of rejection. Because, sometimes, they don’t say it back.

Redditor Sparkthatlights recently asked the group: What is the worst response to “I love you”? and the responses are pretty heartbreaking.

However, to put a more positive spin on it, these guys are all still standing.

What doesn’t kill you and all that.

Me and sister - young with glasses
I loved my glasses when I was a child but, when I got older, they lost their appeal (Picture: Lucy Sambrook)

The first time I wore a pair of glasses I was a year old.

My mum realised I was as blind as a baby bat and took me down to the seaside near our house to stick glasses on my face for the first time.

I froze to the spot, mesmerised seeing the world properly for the first time.

From that moment on, I refused to remove my thick early 90s glasses, even when going to sleep.

But, as I got older, wearing glasses at all times lost its… Read the full story

They’re amazing on the internet. They’re amazing when you pass them on the street. And I’m sure they’d be triple amazing if you actually own one.

So imagine what your reaction would be if someone gave you a little puppy for your birthday. Would you scream? Probably. Would you cry? Most definitely.

Sort of like this kid then.

Last month, Colette Francisco was picked up from art camp on her ninth birthday.

Ashley Graham can’t win. ‘When I post photos showing my cellulite, stretch marks, and rolls, I’m accused of promoting obesity,’ she writes. ‘When I post a photo from a ‘good angle,’ I receive criticism for looking smaller and selling out.’

As a model, Ashley regularly speaks out about the need to promote positive body image. She’s given TEDx talks on the subject, co-founded an all-sizes modelling collective, and launched her own #CurvesinBikinis campaign.

This dad is absolutely thrilled with his giant fluffy pink iPhone case and we’re thrilled for him.

Pictures of the dad gazing in wonder at his brand new case have been retweeted over 6,000 after daughter Taylor shared them on Twitter yesterday.

19-year-old Taylor from Boston explained that she’d been trying to order the cover for her own iPhone from Amazon, but didn’t realise it only fitted an iPhone 6 plus.

As her dad has that model, she jokingly offered the cover to him when it arrived.

He didn’t need to be asked twice.

We all know that makeup can be powerful stuff. It can hide acne. It can make dark circles disappear. It can sort of help your lips undergo a Kylie Jenner transformation.

But one makeup artist has taken it to the next level.

Celebrity makeup artist and hair stylist Anar Agakishiev has been doing makeovers on women in their 60s and 70s, and uploading before and after pictures to his Instagram.

And the results are absolutely insane.

Being single apparently costs £6k a year more than being in a relationship

Being single can be tough. There’s no one any good left on Tinder. February’s a generally sickening month. Your mum keeps asking if you’ve met anyone ‘nice’.

And now it turns out that your life is actually more expensive than those of your coupled up friends.

A poll of over 2,000 Brits aged 18-30 found that the average Londoner spends around £5,772 more a year if they’re single than those in a relationship.

giphy

According to VoucherCodesPro, that works out as an average of £150 a week, compared to the £39 your loved-up mates are spending.

So what exactly are we splashing the cash on?

Takeaways, restaurant food and nights out are the top three expenses for singletons, closely followed by clothes.

giphy

And to make matters worse…or better (depending how you see things), singletons spend way more on booze.

Researchers found that those who were single drink almost three times as… Read the full story

After renting a flat in Camden (presumably, they did the viewing in the dark, if at all), two flatmates decided to raise the blind in the lounge for the first time and, well, there wasn’t much of a view.

In fact, there was no view at all.

Although it looks like there was once a window there, it has been blocked up and a blind then placed over it, to create a window ‘effect’.

A few days ago GapKids was accused of everyday sexism in its ad, and now it looks like Coca-Cola, who make Sprite, is the latest brand to be accused of misogyny.

Sprite has released a campaign under the hashtag #BrutallyRefreshing…which they say is ‘celebrating those with guts to tell it like it is’.

giphy

OK, already sounds a bit dodgy. But that’s not all.

They also include some ‘truths’ to go along images of Sprite bottles (random, I know).

These include things like:

She’s seen more ceilings…than Michelangelo

And this:

‘A 2 at 10 is a 10 at 2!’

…which is nice.

‘One dip is never enough’

And not forgetting:

‘You’re not popular…you’re easy’
