If you’re an avid Pokémon Go-er and have always dreamt of coming across a zubat IRL, then your dreams are about to come true – if you live in Texas.

An artist going by the name of Knotty Nichole is crocheting Pokémon characters and leaving them for gamers to find.

The ‘avid gamer, foodie and crafty geek’ publishes free Pokémon crochet patterns on her Facebook too, as well as uploading how-to videos on Youtube for anyone too slow to find the ones she’s hidden and who want to knit their own versions.

This little Stubby squid is crying out for a Disney franchise.

The purple cutie was spotted by a team of scientists aboard the E/VNautilus exploration vessel, which transmits live ocean exploration footage online.

In a short clip posted on YouTube, the scientists hone in on the tiny purple figure with giant ‘googly eyes’ sitting alone on the seabed. They explain that it was spotted ‘off the coast of California at a depth of 900 meters (2,950 feet).’
