A girl has drawn up a list of 20 rules she wants her new boyfriend to stick to while he’s on a lads’ holiday to Ibiza and we definitely wouldn’t mess with her.

See rule no. 12: ‘No tattoos. I will even check ur willy. Unless it’s my name don’t bother’.

Jane Park, 20, from Edinburgh, who also happens to be Britain’s youngest lottery winner (she won a £1 million jackpot in 2012), drew up the list in in her phone notes for boyfriend Connor George, 21 ahead of his week away… Read the full story

So cute (Picture: Laura Izumikawa/Instagram)

A new mum has found the solution to that eternal parenting struggle – you spend your whole time trying to get the baby to sleep and, then when they finally nod off, they look so adorable, you just want to wake them up again.

Instead, Laura Izumikawa, an LA-based photographer and mum to four-month-old baby girl Joey Marie Choi, uses nap time as an opportunity for some ridiculously cute cosplay.

While her little girl naps – apparently, she’s a deep sleeper – mum adds accessories and props to her outfits to turn her into mini-me versions of popstars like Sia and Beyonce, as well as various TV and… Read the full story

How do you transform a plain black dress into a sparkling, glittering masterpiece without stitching on diamonds or covering it in glitter?

Put in the Dead Sea, obviously.

For her project Salt Bride, Israeli artist Sigalit Landau placed a black dress into the salty waters of the Dead Sea.

She left it there for two months, checking in every couple of weeks to capture eight photos of the dress’s transformation from a simple gown into a salt-crystal covered piece of art.

Please address all congratulatory cards to the Australian National Maritime Museum. Their new star employee deserves as many as the postman can carry.

Bailey is a rescue dog who has made his passion a career. We should all be inspired by his dedication and hard work.

His passion? Protecting the general public from seagulls. Seagulls had better back off when Bailey’s around.

When he was at his last home, Bailey’s foster carer had to tie him up, just so he’d stop tiring himself out by chasing seagulls all day. That’s how dedicated he is to his mission.

A different take on the traditional fortune cookie (Picture: OK Cookie Co.)

This is going to liven up your next dinner party.

The team behind Cards Against Humanity, the rude, at times incredibly offensive, and wildly popular card game, has just branched out – into fortune cookies.

As you might expect from a card game that has been making family get-togethers incredibly awkward since 2010, the cookies aren’t predicting great things for your future. In fact, they’re pretty dark.

The aptly named ‘Horrible Fortune Cookies’ were launched this week to promote Cards Against… Read the full story

Oi, you. These chow chows require your immediate attention. Right now.

If you’re not up to date on the hottest chow chows of the moment, you’re missing out.

Because – in case you missed it – chow chows are the coolest dogs around right now.

Mostly because they are little tiny bears with little paws and ears. They have silly faces and are basically just giant piles of fluff. Or living teddy bears. Fact.

If your life needs more chow (and trust us, it probably does), here’s where to start. These are the chow chows you need to know about.

Three ice lolly recipes you need in your life right now

The weather is horribly muggy – particularly if, like me, you live in a city. I feel very sorry for anybody who has to take the Tube home from work. Perhaps London will one day resemble European cities such as Paris and Barcelona, which are empty in August. It’s simply too hot to function.

I am thus keen not to cook. All I want during weeks like this is ice cream and cool drinks.

For these recipes, you’ll need an ice lolly kit or, failing that, a muffin tin and lolly sticks. To loosen the frozen popsicles, briefly dip the mould in warm water. Any combination of fruit works… Read the full story

From the women (and some men) tottering around on six inch perspex platforms to the brave person eating their lunchtime hotdog through a tiny hole in their gimp mask, this year’s Sexhibition event – held at the gorgeous Victoria Warehouse in Manchester – really was the place to be for all things bizarre and sexy.

So why would we want to unsee anything when they’re as awesome as this?

So, you’ve been dumped. You’re now preparing yourself for a few months of crying, drinking, and bad choices, while you imagine your ex running around, having fun, and living their best lives. We’re sorry.

Or you were the dumper. You took a lot of time to make your decision. You were brave. You ended it. And now you’re worried that the poor person you left behind might end up hating you for all eternity.

Either way, don’t stress. It turns out that when relationships end, the dumper (the person who decided to end the relationship) and the dumpee (the person who got dumped) take the… Read the full story

News of proposed cuts to the NHS were revealed today (Picture: Getty)

Last week, an American doctor wrote about her experience of the NHS, after she had to take her cousin to A&E. ‘Dear UK, the NHS is awesome,’ she wrote. ‘Try to treat it a little better’.

Dr Jen Gunter, who’s an obstetrician based in the US, wrote her blog post to offer a visitor’s perspective of our healthcare service and to urge people not to take it for granted.

And her outsider’s view couldn’t have been more perfectly timed, in the light of proposed cuts to bed numbers, A&E, GP care and ward closures on the NHS, revealed to… Read the full story

Since the dawn of the pure, innocent, emoji, we have found ways to make them dirty.

The water drop emoji has been sexualised. Hand gestures have been misused. Flowers have been turned into beautiful euphemisms.

And of course, the humble aubergine has been forever changed.

Even now that we have emoji for bananas, hot dogs, and corn on the cob, the aubergine has remained everyone’s go-to for penis-related messages.

We’re sorry, moussaka.

And now, finally, the aubergine/sex connection has come full circle. Because now, after years of waiting, an aubergine emoji vibrator exists in the world.

What would convince you to buy one brand’s pair of underwear over another’s?

A sexy ad? Promises of superior comfort? Pretty lace?

How about poo? As in, streaks of poo. Poo. Would that make you want to buy new underwear, ASAP?

We imagine not. But in the case of PACT‘s new underwear ad, it’s kind of working for us.

The organic cotton underwear brand’s advert shows a bunch of sexy models in pairs of PACT pants. So far, so normal. Then the camera zooms in, and you see each pair of pants has a full on skidmark. The models caress each other’s skidmarks. This is highly disturbing.

Everyone knows that the key to a great business idea is creating something so brilliantly obvious that everyone wonders why on earth they didn’t think of it first.

Parents Gabriel and Heather Rael did just that.

Gabriel and Heather moved to North Carolina five years ago. One day Gabriel was waiting in his car to pick up his daughter from school. He was struck by a sudden desire to get out of the car and grab something to drink, but noticed that there wasn’t anywhere near enough that he could run out, buy a coffee, and not mess up the order of the queuing system.

Sometimes you just want to dance (Picture: YouTube)

Usually, parents have at least 10-15 years’ grace before their kids start listening to loud music and rebelling when they’re told to turn it down.

But this mum from Salt Lake City already has to to fight to keep the noise down with her 17-month-old son JP.

Because, when JP’s in the car, he loves to crank up the volume and dance to his favourite hip hop tracks – despite mum Stephanie’s protests.

Stephanie shared a video of JP dancing to his favourite track – Time of Our Lives by Pitbull and Ne-Yo – in the driving seat of her parked car, writing: ‘Whenever JP hears a beat,… Read the full story

I started having sex when I was 17.

I’m now 23, and can count the number of times guys have gone down on me on two hands (without closing and reopening those hands, I mean. I’m talking fewer than 10 times).

If you asked me to count the number of blow jobs I’ve given in that same time period, I’d have no idea. I’ve lost count.

This isn’t me bragging about my blow job skills or my number of sexual partners (many of those blow jobs were on the… Read the full story
