His mate’s face though (Picture: jordanngrubb/Twitter)

This is the story of 18-year-old Joe Meracap, a holiday to Kavos and a football bet gone awry.

It begins with a few mates watching the Southampton vs. Man Utd game over ‘a few’ beers while on holiday – and ends with Joe getting a tattoo reading ‘Gary Lineker sh*gs crisps over his left nipple.

It was obviously quite a night.

We’ll let Joe’s mate Jordan try to explain. ‘On the Friday night Saints played Man Utd and he bet me if Saints won (as he was a Chelsea fan who couldn’t believe Saints would win) he would get that tattoo and I’d get my nose pierced,’ Jordan told Metro.co.uk.

Everyone knows that flowers, amongst other things, are a great way to go about making up with someone you’ve upset.

Especially if that someone is your other half, it’s always best to get that anger nipped in the bud ASAP.

One guy who desperately needed to do that after upsetting his girlfriend, decided that the only way to do that was to send some gifts to her workplace.

We can only imagine his girlfriend’s face as she excitedly opened two large Amazon packages, ready to forgive her boyfriend, only to open some flours.

Welcome to beauty blogging on a budget.

At the weekend, beauty blogger Kenya Funtes, 20, from Texas, shared a little hack she’s come up with to help her show off her makeup hauls on her YouTube channel.

Having seen other bloggers display their products on fluffy, white backdrops, she wondered how she could achieve the same high end look, on a shoestring budget.

Enter Finny, Kenya’s cat. Looking at her pet’s soft white fur, Kenya suddenly had an epiphany.

Fast forward to this tweet:

While some students are dreading the looming school term, students heading back for their final year are preparing for their first day back in style.

Teachers at a number of US schools have been cool enough to let them decorate their parking spaces in order to celebrate their last year.

Students have been posting pictures of their work all over Twitter, making kids from stricter schools incredibly jealous.

And leaving them wishing they could transfer last minute.

This student decided to take his ‘senior’ status a little too literally

Remember that feeling of dread that hit when you realised you had just one week of left of the summer holidays to enjoy before once again submitting your soul to the place they called ‘school’?

Snapchat has been full of people sharing snaps of them or their child’s first day back.

But one guy blatantly doesn’t share that same warmth, as shown in a picture he recently posted to Imgur.

Not all of us are art enthusiasts.

This man couldn't care less about your kid's first day back to school

While some can spend hours wondering around galleries, others can’t tell the difference between a piece drawn in paint or one in pastel.

And some people can’t even tell whether something is necessarily ‘art’ at all.

Much like this guy, who was taken to a gallery to enjoy a day of inspiration with his wife but ended feeling rather lost and confused, questioning whether his wife’s intentions were even honest.

Now, we’ve seen dudeoir shoots before. The photos, where men mimic the soft-focus poses from traditional boudoir-style magazine shoots are becoming increasingly popular.

Because men have a sensual side too.

But, the dudeoir shoot has been taken to the next level with these sexy beach pictures.

The shoot stars curvy California hunk Joshua Varozza (you may remember him from the God Bless America ‘Dudeoir’ country shoot that got people feeling all *cough* patriotic last summer).

Now he’s back and he’s stirring up all those feelings again.

I had an ileostomy bag for 10 months during 2015, after I underwent emergency surgery to remove my colon, as it was close to perforating from ulcerative colitis (UC), a form of Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

If you aren’t sure on what an ileostomy is, it’s where your small intestine (ileum) is brought out to your abdomen and waste is collected into a bag attached to your stomach.

Girl writes open letter to Crohn’s disease to show the realities of living with IBD

It’s often confused with a colostomy which, while similar, involves the colon being pulled to the abdomen.

If you have a cat, you’ll know how much fun they are.

Just kidding, we all know they’re the most lazy, spoilt, stubborn little creatures going. But we love them for it anyway.

This guy's dudeoir beach shoot is bringing sexy back

This guy, who despite having a very independent cat, still managed to be distracted by them instead of doing his work.

While he should’ve been busy with his head in a book studying, he decided to take a picture of his sleeping kitty and photoshop it into a bunch of silly situations instead.

To be fair, it does look entertaining.

Who else do you know that can sleep while doing the high jump at the same time?

This is a sex quiz because, really, what better thing do you have to do right now?

Fetishes are fascinating – everybody likes different things and who are we to judge?

From the better-known kinks like S&M to more niche preferences like melissophilia (the sexual fetish for bees), it’s quite remarkable the variety of things that get our grubby little minds going.

That is a long wait (Picture: Getty/Facebook)

Last week, James Lloyd from Lincolnshire was booking a flight home from Christchurch, New Zealand, via travel comparison site Skyscanner, when he noticed a tiny problem with the proposed schedule.

His itinerary included a 47-year layover (or, to be exact, 413,786 hours and 25 minutes) in Bangkok.

The system had defined it as a ‘long wait’, which was underplaying it a tad.

As we all know, there’s nothing worse than a long layover when you’re just trying to get home. But, sometimes, you have to put up with it to be a cheaper deal. That said, 47 years is pushing it.

Amused at the glitch in the system, James… Read the full story

A mum has hit back after a man accosted her three-year-old son in a park and demanded to know why he was wearing a tutu, telling him his mum was guilty of ‘child abuse’.

Jen Anderson Shattuck wrote an open letter on Facebook to the man, saying she would not allow her son, whose nickname is Roo, to be intimidated for wearing a skirt and that she would defend ‘shouting, his right to walk down the street in peace, wearing whatever items of clothing he wants to wear.’

When you think of Germany you probably don’t think ‘summer holiday destination’.

Yet with highs of 25 degrees, incredible landscapes, the stunning Black Forest, gourmet food, adventure activities for all ages, oh and one of the biggest and best theme parks in Europe, perhaps you should think again.

In the southwest of Germany, close to the French border is the Baden region.

You may be familiar with the upmarket town of Baden-Baden, perhaps more because of its amusing name than anything else.

It was put firmly on the map when hot springs were discovered there, earning its name, which translates as Bath-Bath.

The Slow Shopping afternoons aim to make the weekly grocery shop less stressful for elderly and vulnerable customers (Picture: Getty)

Katherine Vero from Newcastle says her elderly mum Jo used to love to go shopping, but after she developed dementia, she says the weekly shop became ‘increasingly difficult and stressful’ for both of them.

‘But I didn’t want her to stop going out and become isolated,’ she explains. ‘I wondered if there was a way to help us enjoy shopping.’

After her mum passed away, Katherine came up with the idea of ‘slow shopping’ – an afternoon once a week when elderly and vulnerable customers can take a little longer over their shop.

The idea is now being trialled… Read the full story

According to this shop, young female ghostbusters are still ‘in training’. Did they not see the film? (Picture: Old Navy)

This summer, director Paul Feig and his four female ghostbusters proved women are equally adept as men when it comes rounding up ghosts haunting New York City.

Just like their male predecessors, despite objections raised by ‘concerned’ trolls stuck from their parents’ basements (probably), the new all-female were equally unafraid of no ghosts.

Amazing, we know, but women are in fact just as well qualified for the fictional role of ghostbusting as men.

But, US retail chain Old Navy seems to have missed the whole reboot entirely (despite trying to capitalise on it with some new… Read the full story

LEAVE US ALONE. (Picture: Getty)

There are times when we go out into the world and are entirely open to random chats with strangers. These are usually times when we’ve gone to bars, or busy coffee shops, or a class.

Then there are times when we’re really not in the f***ing mood.

In those times, we use techniques to build barriers between us and other people – signals that we’re really not up for chatting.

There’s the classic reading a book move. The resting ‘leave me alone’ face. And the simple but effective technique of wearing headphones (even if there’s no music playing).

While most of us are struggling to get a text back, one girl has managed to find herself a modern-day Romeo.

Zara has recently proved that romance does still exist after posting a gift she had received from her boyfriend, Jasper, who was preparing to leave for college.

Not wanting to leave without giving her something to remember, Jasper put together the most romantic gift – a pop-up box full of their most cherished memories.

The pop-up box consisted of lots of photos of the couple, who have been together for around a year, and was accompanied with tags for each, labelling each occasion.
