When one guy was given some free theme park tickets from his friend, he knew there was only one way to repay him – by sending him pictures of every single part of the day.

McDonald's throws party for worker with Down's syndrome who's retiring after 32 years

Isn’t that sweet?

Well, it would be; if all of the pictures weren’t of him frowning, with captions complaining constantly that nothing was good enough.

Posting all of the Snapchats to Reddit, user kevinthecatcher23 wrote: ‘My buddy couldn’t use his theme park tickets so he gave them to me saying “Have Fun.” I made sure he… Read the full story

Cute. (Picture: Picture This)

If you’re a parent, you’ll know that kids can be really creative when it comes to choosing they want to wear for the day.

They don’t care about the rules of matching socks or only wearing princess gowns on special occasions. They want to wear whatever they feel like wearing whenever they feel like wearing it, thank you.

It’s a wonderful thing, and something that should be encouraged.

Enter Picture This, a new company that takes children’s fashion creativity to another level.

blackadder hoarder

Or you a hoarder? Or are you a more ‘out with the old, in with the new’ kind of person?’

One man whose wife is very much a hoarder is Reddit user michaelsiemsen.

Why, you ask? Because for the past two years, anything that has been sitting in their garage, his wife simply refuses to get rid of.

It’s an infuriating process but it seems the wife has more power of these decisions.

Her husband is trying to make a point by taking all of the things his wife wishes to keep despite not having a use for them for years, and hanging them up as ‘art’ in their ‘otherwise useless’ front room.

When a 31-year-old woman decided to go back to college to study, she knew she’d have some funny stories to tell.

But when she found out her roommates would two young girls, aged 18 and 21, she decided there’d be some stories just too good not to share.

Posting to Imgur under the name Lunatyc, the woman had originally posted a photo of one room with two single beds, guessing that her room would look a little something like that.

Meeting your girlfriend’s dad is a scary thing.

Everyone knows that all dads are incredibly protective over their ‘little girl’ no matter how old they are or what a great choice in partners they have (obviously).

It takes a while for a dad to warm to their daughter’s new love and they’ll often have you jumping through hoops just so that you can gain their approval.

One young guy who’s still trying has been pictured looking pretty uncomfortable in a couple of professional photos.

After battling breast cancer and a lumpectomy, Alison Habbal decided to take back control of her own body by getting a stunning breast tattoo.

Alison, 36, from Sydney, spent a year undergoing gruelling treatment, which included lumpectomy surgery to remove the tumour and surrounding tissue from her breast, followed by chemotherapy.

During the surgery, her nipple had to be removed. She was given the option of having nipple reconstruction, but she had something different in mind, which would not only cover up the physical scarring from the surgery, but would also help with the emotional scars.

She approached New Zealand-based artist… Read the full story

Finally. (Picture: Getty)

Oh, hey. Ever attempted to spoon, cuddle, or hug someone in bed?

Then you’ll know the pain of an arm filled with pins and needles, crushed under the weight of another person’s body.

If you’re the little spoon, you’ll know the slight discomfort of having someone’s elbow between your ribcage and the mattress.

Hugging in bed is an awful idea. It’s terrible. It sucks. But we keep doing it, because we’re all mushy romantics and quite like physical intimacy, even if it isn’t entirely conducive to actually getting some sleep.

Although her mum Anneliese initially worried she might not cope, Freia loved the work – and the customers loved her.

Hmm. (Picture: Target Australia/metro.co.uk)

Target tried to make a t-shirt for girls who like comic book characters. It didn’t go down well.

Target Australia introduced a new children’s T-shirt which had Batgirl’s ‘to-do list’ on the front. It was pink, and top of the list wasn’t ‘kick butt’ or ‘fight crime’, but ‘dryclean cape’.

Because God forbid that superheroes dare to leave their secret lairs with a creased or stained cape. The horror.

The rest of the to-do list read: ‘dryclean cape, wash batmobile, fight crime, save world.’

People were not impressed with the implication that Batgirls have to do the housework before they can fight crime, while Batman can just go ahead, not… Read the full story

13 things only truly impulsive people know

impulse 1

Why be sensible, when you can be impulsive and fun instead?

When it comes to plans, you know that the best ones are those that get decided at the last minute, and usually dictated by exactly what kind of mood you’re in.

You aren’t one to play by the rules, and it’s pretty obvious that you don’t have any rigid ones of your own that you attempt to adhere to.

Doing things the way that others do isn’t your idea of fun, instead your idea of fun is booking a trip to Australia alone at 4am on a Wednesday morning. Just because you wanted to.

1. Plans are flexible

When it comes to making plans, sticking to a timetable, or just general time keeping, things are always subject to change.

With all of the times you have been 30 minutes late to work because you decided to stop off that the special coffee place because you just kind… Read the full story

Seven-and-a-half-year-old Sophia Spencer from Ontario, Canada, has loved bugs since she was two-years-old and her mum Nicole bought her a bug catcher and butterfly net.

She and her best friend named themselves ‘The Bug Hunters’.

‘She had always been obsessed with a show here called Wild Kratts – they teach kids about animals and bugs and what their powers are,’ Nicole told Metro.co.uk.

‘Sophia loves bugs because they can do incredible things for their size, they are sticky which allows her to have them crawl on her without falling off, and because they scare adults.’

All great reasons.

Despite being adorable Paul Anka (yes thatís a dogís name!) had been at the Lifeline Animal Shelter for nine months without ever being noticed by prospective families. Desperate to find the pup a home staff at the Lifeline Animal Project came up with a plan; they dressed Paul Anka in pyjamas and offered him to potential adopters for a sleepover. My stepdad came into my life when I was 10 years old, four years after my parents had split up.

At first I was cautious – I’d gotten used to it being just me, my mum and my sister – but as months went on, I grew incredibly close to my stepdad and formed a bond with him like no other.

He was and is a dad to me, a great friend and a shoulder to cry on.

Even when he had his own children with my mum, he treated me and my sister the same and always referred to us as… Read the full story

There are a lot of days when Bo Paske, who has autism, has to eat lunch alone in the cafeteria at Montford Middle School in Tallahassee, Florida. But, not this day.

Yesterday, Bo ate lunch with Travis Rudolph, an American football wide receiver for the Florida State Seminoles, who was visiting the school with his team.

Bo’s mum Leah later explained in an emotional Facebook how her son came to eat lunch with the football star.

Recalling how she herself used to dread having no one to sit at lunchtimes during high school, Leah wrote: ‘Now that I have a child… Read the full story

In the complicated modern world of dating and love, there are so many more relationship statuses than single or coupled up.

There’s casually dating. Seeing each other. Regularly having sex but not committing. In a relationship, but not calling it a relationship.

You’re more than friends, sure. But not so much ‘more’ that you’re ready to put a ring on it or wear a symbol of your everlasting love.

Which means that if you did want to get in on the matching jewellery action (and let’s be real – who doesn’t? It’s a delight), you didn’t really have any options. A friendship bracelet doesn’t some up… Read the full story
