Kathy and Brandon Gunn from Michigan got married on September 1, 2007. Among the wedding gifts they received was an intriguing parcel from Katy’s Great Aunt Alison, to which an envelope was taped reading: ‘Do NOT open until 1st disagreement’.

A size 24 bridesmaid has halved her body weight after seeing unflattering photos from her friend’s wedding.

Mallory Manning, 29, from Arkanas, US, was so horrified with seeing the pictures of herself as ‘the fat bridesmaid’ after seeing the pictures, that she dropped 11st 2lbs in just two years.

It is International Literacy Day today – and the theme is ‘reading the past, writing the future’.

Did you know?

International Literacy day was first started on November 17, 1965 making this the 50th time the event has been held.

Two months ago I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. But, despite living with my diagnosis and researching it thoroughly, I have found it difficult to understand. I feel like I don’t fit into any set ‘category’ for people with bipolar disorder.
