This is raspberry cake. It is filled with raspberry mousse, cremeux, confit and sponge cake. It is then covered in a shiny red glaze. So shiny.

Student publishes powerful photo series in response to Brock Turner’s release
When Stanford student Brock Turner was found guilty of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in June 2016, people were outraged at the leniency of the six-month sentence.
Last week, he was released after only serving half of his sentence, sparking more angry criticism.
But perhaps the most powerful response to his release was from photographer and college student Yana Mazurkevich – who marked the occasion by publishing a graphic photo series on sexual assault.

Why you’re better queuing behind one person with a full trolley than people with baskets
It’s the classic supermarket conundrum. Do you queue behind the person with a trolley filled to the brim, or do you wait behind the line of people in the ’10 items or fewer’ queue?

When artist Taylor Ann Linko tied the knot with Chris, she knew a classic white dress wasn’t really an option.
She’s an artist. She’s a little messy. Wearing pure, pristine white just isn’t her thing.
And so she decided to get creative.
Taylor started off by buying a traditional wedding dress secondhand, then set to work on adding some colour.
