‘So, are you put off men now?’

Having worked as a dominatrix for seven years before becoming the comic and writer I am today I am often asked the above.

As we all know, you can’t be a sex-worker without turning into a massive lesbian. Right?

Wrong.

There is not a finite amount of cock we can take.

We don’t reach a certain number and think ‘Oof, that’s me done!’

We don’t assume that every man we meet will be just like our clients – we realise each and every one of you is a beautiful snowflake.

But sometimes you don’t help yourselves.

It is not, in fact,… Read the full story

The YGAP website states: ‘Polished Man starts with painting a… Read the full story

SHEET MASKS FOR ALL! (Picture: Mark Metcalfe/Getty Images)

For anyone who loves makeup, skincare, hair products, and buying a borderline inappropriate number of tiny sponges, Sephora is heaven on earth.

It is a magical places filled with all manner of beauty-related delights. It’s a soothing haven where experts will patiently answer all your complex lipstick queries. It’s glorious.

The only downside to Sephora (other than the fact that it will definitely bankrupt us all)? The fact that it hasn’t yet made its way over to the UK.*

*Well, technically it has. It was in the UK a while back, but all the UK shops closed down back in 2005 after money struggles. Still. It’s been a while, and… Read the full story

Jamie’s paella tweet proved a little controversial (Picture: Jamie Oliver/Proscojoncio/Twitter)

Jamie Oliver has nearly sparked a diplomatic incident after ‘innocently’ tweeting out his favourite paella recipe earlier this week.

‘Good Spanish food doesn’t get much better than paella,’ he wrote. ‘My version combines chicken thighs & chorizo’.

Seemingly innocuous, you might think.

But, you would be wrong. For the Spanish, the inclusion of chorizo is basically a crime against their traditional and cherished Valencian dish. They haven’t taken it well.

For the record, according to Wikipaella, a non-profit association for knowledge and… Read the full story

A tabby cat who might be the world’s oldest cat has just celebrated his 31st birthday.

His name is Nutmeg and he’s been with his current owners since 1990 – when he turned up in their back garden as a stray.

Liz and Ian Finlay found the cat 26 years ago with an abscess on his neck, and took him to their local Cats Protection where they told them that he was at least five years old.

‘We celebrate his birthday in March every year so we know it was around March 1990 when we got him,’ says Ian.

‘I sorted out the abscess on his neck and… Read the full story

People are calling this bag the new #TheDress

confused-britney

Oh, hey. Remember that time the entirety of the internet descended into madness over the colour of a dress?

That was weird.

Since then, everyone has been on high alert when it comes to any other clothing item that might appear a different colour. We have to be. We can’t let families be torn apart and relationships be broken over the colour of a dress again.

So when @whyofcorso tweeted out a photo of their new bag, people were braced for a freakout.

Why? Because people aren’t entirely sure if the bag is blue or white.

Sigh.

Now, to be clear, the bag is definitively blue. Its owner has shared Kate Spade’s original product listing, which describes the bag as ‘mystic blue’.

But people cannot accept the truth.

Would you do this… naked? (Picture: Getty)

When London opened its very own naked popup restaurant, tickets completely sold out. People were desperate to eat raw food, naked, while sitting on a stool in candlelight. Fair enough.

So it was only a matter of time before someone started up another place to hang out naked. This time – a club.

The Takeover Bar in Soho, London, has announced that they’ll soon be home to regular Get Naked club nights.

Yes, Get Naked club nights are exactly what they sound like. Guests are allowed (and encouraged) to strip off and dance, drink, and be merry, free of their clothing prison.

Wedding receptions are usually a chance for the bride and groom to have an awkward first dance before everyone else takes bottles of wine onto the dance floor and make a complete tit of themselves.

Not so at Melissa Molinaro’s wedding.

The Canadian actress and dancer ensured this would be one wedding her guests would never forget by performing the most incredible Beyonce-inspired dance routine for new husband Bryan.

Bryan sits (a bit awkwardly) alone in front of their friends and family while his wife dances for him to Lil’ Mo before her bridesmaids join her.
