These salted caramel brownies are absolutely incredible. Chewy, gooey, salty and dangerously moreish they are free from eggs, dairy and gluten.

The secret to these brownies is to use black beans. The beans themselves replace the flour and the liquid from the beans, known as aquafaba, replaces the eggs.

Serve them up to an unsuspecting friend and they’ll never guess the secret ingredient.

As for the salted caramel, well that is made with dates, making these healthier than your average brownie. That’s what I’m telling myself anyway.

Well, you’re fairly likely to, anyway. A new study says that one third of people wouldn’t be up for dating a vegan.

Dating app Trueview.me surveyed 1,000 men and women around the UK to find out their thoughts on dating, love, and food.

They found out that 34% of these people wouldn’t want to date a vegan.

There are some things we will always find more deeply unsettling than traditionally scary stuff, like monsters and ghosts.

One of those things? The idea of our nails being pulled off.

Yom Kippur – the holiest day of the year for Jewish people – starts tonight (Tuesday 11 October) at sundown. Sometimes called the Day of Atonement it’s a really important day in the Jewish religion and gives Jews the chance to ask forgiveness for their sins over the last year and resolve to do better in the year that’s coming.

When you suffer from anxiety, you’ll get excited whenever you hear of a new natural remedy or magical cure.

So when we heard about kava – a root found on the South Pacific islands that apparently calms and soothes stress and anxiety – we were pretty interested.

One of the original Disney baddies was the withered old hag from Snow White. Many of us haven’t been able to eat red apples since childhood. That’s how scary she was.

So who better to dress up as for Halloween than a similarly haggard lady – complete with wrinkles and frown lines?

Lynn Hetherington Becker is a self-taught makeup and body artist from Columbus, Ohio and she says that she ‘adores turning small children into amazing creations’.

There aren’t many ways to make a kitten even cuter than it is in its natural state.

But one method that always works is a tiny jumper they can wear to stay warm. Trust us.

Over the weekend, Twitter user Sarah, who goes by @crysomemore, went into PetSmart to get a tag for her cat’s collar. As she was looking around, she noticed a man with two children looking at the cats for adoption.

A veterinary assistant who worked at the store walked by and mentioned that PetSmart was currently caring for a kitten, which she then brought out to show to the family.

So pizza flavoured lollipops are real and we’re not sure what to think. 

On one hand, it’s pizza. Anything pizza-related has got to be good, right?

But in the form of a sugary ball? It’s daring, let’s be honest.

A police officer from Georgia, US, has been left overwhelmed after being asked to be godfather to a baby whose life he saved.

A couple who gained weight while expecting their first child have lost a combined 13 stone after ditching their fast food diets.

Debbie and Brandon Potter, from New York, started to pile on the pounds around the time of Debbie’s pregnancy and they found themselves ordering takeaways late at night.
