These salted caramel brownies are absolutely incredible. Chewy, gooey, salty and dangerously moreish they are free from eggs, dairy and gluten.
The secret to these brownies is to use black beans. The beans themselves replace the flour and the liquid from the beans, known as aquafaba, replaces the eggs.
Serve them up to an unsuspecting friend and they’ll never guess the secret ingredient.
As for the salted caramel, well that is made with dates, making these healthier than your average brownie. That’s what I’m telling myself anyway.
