Most of us have a birthmark somewhere on our bodies, but they aren’t as cool as 18-month-year-old MilliAnna’s.

She was born with Cruella De Vil-eqsque white streak in her hair, as was her mum, her grandma and her great-grandma.

Mum Brianna Worthy, 23, from South Carolina, says that they’re unsure exactly how far the birthmark goes back as her grandmother was adopted as a child and never met her biological family.

This 12-year-old boy has made more than 800 teddy bears for sick children in hospital

As the votes became clearer and clearer as to who was going to win, mothers feared their daughters were going to be incredibly upset by the choice and chose to message them some words of advice, hope and comfort.

And some of the messages are actually incredibly upsetting – as they open our eyes to what many Americans are missing out on… Read the full story

Most pet owners are aware that animals love looking at themselves in the mirror.

This app wants to stop you prematurely ejaculating, so that's nice

Most of the time, it’s not because they’re vain – but because they’re convinced they’re staring at an another animal and are attempting to work out just why said animal is copying their every movement.

It’s a code they’ll never crack.

But it looks as though one German Shepherd is using the mirror for a whole other reason entirely – to give himself a pep talk. Or pup talk, if you will.

Reddit user kooolaidrea posted the photo of… Read the full story

One of those good people is 12-year-old Campbell Remess, from Tasmania.

At just 12 years old, Campbell (who’s also known as Bumble) has already learnt just how rewarding acts of kindness can be.

He’s spent the last three years making teddy bears with his own machine – all so he can give them to sick children in hospitals in need of comfort.

In Japan, the new hot relaxation trend is using specially scented bath powders that effective turn your bath into a big bowl of soup.

It’s a bit like that spa where you can bathe in red wine and green tea, except you get to chill in soup in the comfort of your own home.

Adding a splash of tonic water to gin is a habit that dates back hundreds of years.

That bitter after-taste of the quinine in the tonic gives the cocktail a very distinct flavour, but given that quinine is toxic, why do we add it in at all?

The answer dates back to the 1800s when the first gin and tonic was invented by a British officer in India.

Back then the only way to combat malaria was by taking quinine, an anti-malaria drug produced using the bark of the South American cinchona tree.

The quinine tonic was difficult to take on its own as it tasted… Read the full story

Scroll down this article and let the cats judge you as only cats can – with utter disdain, sassiness, and a lack of any real energy.

They’ll judge you, but they’re too lazy for anything else.

Every new mum deserves to feel pampered.

They deserve whatever they need to feel great, whether it’s a spa day, a big party, or just weeks dedicated to watching Netflix from bed.

And yes, these rules apply to pigs, too.

When Sophie the potbelly pig fell pregnant, her carers at the Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary in Ohio new they wanted to do something special.

She’d had a difficult life before moving to the sanctuary. Sophie was found on a property in Indiana last month along with other animals, who’d all been abandoned by their previous owner and left without enough food and water to continue… Read the full story

Searching for a housemate is like dating without the sex.

Or deciding to move in with your boyfriend after 20 minutes.

Shacking up with a friend can seem like a tempting option: A 24/7 house party with Coco Pops for breakfast, vodka for toothpaste and puppies roaming free.

And sure, it’s all fun and games until you discover your bestie spends 40 minutes in the shower and doesn’t wash up. Or worse, washes up so badly you have to do it again.

But, inevitably, the social media trolls crawled out of their hole to mansplain to Sam that catcalling and street harassment doesn’t happen.
