First of all, we are not condoning putting decorations up yet.

It is November and putting decorations up before December is, as everyone knows, morally wrong and a strong indication that you’re a psychopath.

Having got that out of the way, what you are allowed to do is start making your decorations for when December rolls around.

Don’t know about you, but when my pets shed fur, I tend to just shove it in the bin.

Not so for Japanese photographer Ryo Yamazaki, who collects the fur from his shedding cats, and turns it into little hats.

Yamazaki’s cats are Scottish Folds and go by the name Nya, who is an eight-year-old tabby, Maru, who is six years old and white, and Mugi, a one-year-old brown tiger.

Like humans, cats need a little variety in their lives, which is why the photographer creates a whole host of designs for his fashionable felines and uploads the pics on to his Instagram.

Living in a constantly switched on, digital world has changed the way we work forever.

Always available remotely, we are never really free from the office; information and communication moves fast and we all have to keep up.

But those of us old enough to work in offices back in the 80s and 90s – when clients had budgets, no one had a mobile phone and lunch hour meant just that –  may remember this more innocent time quite fondly.

Yes the computers were clunky, team-building away days were all the rage and we had to look stuff up in… Read the full story

While the government wrangles over pulling Britain out of the European Union, there is a small glint of light for the UK gin industry.

With the pound plunging in value against the Euro, Brockmans Gin has toasted record results after the Brexit-hit pound proved a tonic for overseas sales.

The firm saw total revenues more than double, growing 116% to £2.6 million in the six months to the end of June.

Spanish revenues jumped 103% to £1.82 million, as a post Brexit-vote plunge in the pound bolstered its sales value.
