Ghost me, please. (Picture: metro.co.uk)

I talk a lot about how technology is making the world of dating completely awful.

Dog lost on Ben Nevis gets reunited with his owners after being sent home in a taxi

For the most part, this is entirely true. Being able to scroll through someone’s thoughts from 2012 on Twitter before the second date is a power no one should have. Instagram likes have turned me into a jealous wreck. Tinder is a hell where romance goes to die.

But there’s one thing about dating that technology has made so much better: breaking up.

Because breaking up really… Read the full story

In recent years, Domino’s has been intent on jazzing up its delivery service.

First they tried drones. Then a robot. Then a bus. Then a canoe.

It was inevitable, really, that one day Domino’s would attempt to deliver pizza with reindeer.

Some may call it a PR stunt. But we reckon staff at Domino’s just really, really hate cars.

RocketNews24 reports that Domino’s Japan is very seriously considering using reindeer to deliver their pizzas, thanks to the likelihood… Read the full story

Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian and every other A-lister in between – their Instagrams are full of private jet selfies and videos.

But what’s it really like inside this world of elite travel? And is it even remotely affordable?

I went to Farnborough TAG Airport as a guest of Volanteus, who have chartered jets for everyone from politicians to pop stars, Hollywood royalty to real royals, to find out.

The first surprise, arriving at the airport, is how low key it all is.

Hidden away down winding Hampshire lanes when you arrive, sure security’s… Read the full story

We went down to browse awesome anime jewellery, coo over giant Tofu Cute loppy bunnies, chat to Lolitas (fans of a baby doll-style fashion involving enormous skirts and bows) and stuff our faces with noodles and dorayaki (red-bean pancakes).

Here’s our top pictures from Hyper Japan Christmas Market.

There are plenty of makeup-damaging perils to overcome this festive party season, but there are things that will help.

For some, the festive season involves mistletoe kissing, eggnog glugging, mince pie munching and end-of-the-night drunken crying.

Even the hardiest of makeup will find it hard to stay where we want them to with this much tinsel, alcohol and good all-round revelry going on.

Yes, we certainly put our beauty products through their paces.

But, there are ways to prolong the wear of your makeup. And, if you want your look to last your entire Christmas night out, you’ll want to apply these party-proof tips pronto.

Bring back the bush! Why you should stop waxing your pubic hair and start having amazing sex

The bush basically trims itself (Picture: Liberty Antonia Sadler for Metro.co.uk)

Full disclosure: I’m a Powermuff girl.

My bush is a full, Amazonian chaparral.

It is a coppice of mystery and wonder.

My pubis lies untouched by wax and razor and only the fairest may enter my dingly-dell.

I, ladies and gentlemen, do not shave my pubes. What’s more, I wholeheartedly and thoroughly recommend it.

Certainly, the occasional trim might be in order, but is there really a need to go ripping out your whole hinterland? Not in my experience.

Many moons ago, I did try.

I went through six months of waxing and completely clearing my under-thicket. No strips, no Brazilians, just go bare or go home.

Lots to look forward to, not. (Picture: Liberty Antonia Sadler for Metro.co.uk)

The menopause is an inevitable stage of life for women, and you’ll be aware of the more famous symptoms for sure.

Hot flushes and your periods actually coming to an end, which you might well be overjoyed about after a lifetime of buying tampons and dealing with cramps, are just two of the telltale signs.

But how do you know when ‘The Change’ is actually starting?

It’s certainly a complicated affair and some women can experience years of symptoms before they even get there.

These are known as the perimenopause – that stage of your life when your hormones go into free-fall.

It’s going to be a strange time that’s… Read the full story

Work can be stressful and there are a number of reasons why.

Thousands of studies have been done to identify what causes people to get stressed at work.

Stress is now the leading cause of sickness absence in the workplace, both in the public sector and in the private sector.

There are several main sources of this excessive pressure.

How you are managed by your boss, a long hours culture, poor relationships among colleagues, lack of involvement or engagement in decision making affecting your job, organisational ‘change for change’s sake’ and unmanageable workloads or unrealistic deadlines can all contribute to… Read the full story

Just a small slice please. Oooh just a bit bigger. And a bit more (Picture: Mandy Mazliah)

You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy this festive fruit cake.

In my book, Christmas isn’t complete without a traditional fruit cake.

It’s rich and laden with festive flavours and there’s always plenty to go round.

But it can be hard to find a recipe if you don’t eat dairy or eggs.

Don’t worry, this vegan recipe will make the perfect substitute.

And best of all, it’s boozy, fruity and delicious and it tastes exactly like a Christmas cake should.

You can even dress it up with marzipan and icing or simply leave it au naturel.

Here’s how to make a vegan… Read the full story

A teenager in Pittsburgh has found herself suddenly internet famous after tweeting that she accidentally spent $733 (that’s £586) on Sephora makeup using her mum’s card.

Teenager charged £586 of makeup to her mum's card

Alex was doing a fantasy shop of everything she would buy in a dream world, and then clicked to see if she had any money left on her gift card, which somehow ended in her checking out having ordering almost a thousand dollars of cosmetics using her mother’s account.

This means putting the tree up, wearing festive jumpers, doing your sweater nails and now, working your Christmas-themed makeup.

And no, that doesn’t mean throwing on some red and green eyeshadow or a bit of glitter – it means putting in some real effort.

The beauty industry might not be that diverse but the pageant community is another level. We all know what competitions like Miss World involve – saccharine speeches, tonnes of makeup and bikini shots.

While there might be a few women of colour (WOC) who compete, few – if – any are making waves quite like Halima Aden.

This ‘I’m Fine’ campaign is encouraging us all to be more honest about mental health

When you greet people, it’s always polite to ask them how they are.

And whether we admit it or not, loads of us would argue that it’s best to simply reply ‘fine, thanks’ or something very similar.

Why hygge is ruining my sex lifeHygge is ruining my sex life

If you’re talking to a work colleague or someone you barely know, the last thing you want them to do is to launch into why they’re not sleeping properly/their partner is leaving them/their job is rubbish.

Which would explain then why, a study suggests, the average British adult says ‘I’m fine’ 14 times a week.

It would also explain why the same study finds we only mean it 19% of the time.

Blame it on the general awfulness of 2016, but recently, we’ve all been struck with an overwhelming need to see more greenery.

Seriously, look around. Instagram is being taken over by cacti, flower arranging, and pictures of walks in the park. Suddenly gardening has become cool, instead of just your Dad’s favourite Sunday activity.
