If you bought your iPhone charger for 1p on eBay or nabbed one for a fiver in unofficial packaging, there’s a 99 per cent chance it’s unsafe.

Tests on 400 fake chargers, commissioned by Trading Standards, showed that only three were properly insulated to protect against electric shocks – which is a pass rate below one per cent.

A woman who underwent a double mastectomy after being told that she had a high risk of developing breast cancer is now helping others cope with the same procedure by training as a nipple tattooist.

Gemma Laurence was just 25 when doctors told her that she’d inherited the BRCA2 gene, which carries a high risk of breast cancer.

The story of anorexia doesn’t end when weight has been restored and hospital stays and therapy are a thing of the past.
