When you’re a teenager with no boobs, there’s a glimmer of hope that you will eventually get some.

Jogging is great. It gives you a period of time where you can just think about your amazing playlists and staying alive. Nothing else matters when you’re running. You can deal with your awful family when you get home or continue knocking out reports after you’ve showered.

But during the winter it can be hard to drag yourself out of bed and into your Lycra. Particularly around Christmas when the gym’s closed and there are minced pies to eat.

Welcome to the most wonderful time of the year!

Christmas is hands down the best part of the entire year, even better than birthdays.

And it’s not just amazing because of presents, but because most of us are guaranteed some form of time off, there is no consideration given to healthy eating, and suddenly it becomes acceptable to start drinking at 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon.

Plus no one judges you for sitting around in your pyjamas all day and watching Christmas movies from the 90s.

Winning.
