new study from the University of California has revealed that ‘ecocertified’ wines really do taste better than their non-organic counterparts, with an increased taste score of at least 4.1 points on average

It has long been thought that organic wines were of lower quality because the natural fermentation process and lack of pesticides damage the taste. The study suggests that this idea could have come about because the initial vineyards producing organic wine were a bit rubbish.
