Someone has finally made a gin and tonic suitable for Dry January.

This pink grapefruit and thyme gin and tonic might be the stuff of dreams

There’s no gin in the drink (obviously) meaning anyone who isn’t able to drink alcohol can quaff the beverage without needing to worry about being over the limit.

That means designated drivers, those doing Dry January and anyone with a bad hangover can taste the flavour of a gin and tonic without worrying about alcohol content.

The whole thing – named Teetotal G’nT –… Read the full story

We all have female Facebook friends with zero self-awareness.

I’m not saying guys are perfect – impenetrable sporting banter, boozy selfies and third-rate Star Wars memes take up far too much of my feed, thanks lads.

But girly cringeworthiness is even more predictable (and way more fun to mock).

Here are the most heinous examples of female Facebook fails in action…

Adopting the traditionally female role of full-time childcare has been rewarding and uplifting. But at a price.

Riding the 149 bus from London Bridge to Shoreditch back in the chilly winter of 2013 I was startled to learn, via a feverish phone call, that I’d got my girlfriend up the duff.

I don’t love running at the best of times.

I’m a smoker, I’m easily bored and I’m not exactly what you’d describe as sporty. But, like so many people, I need exercise to stay sane, so a couple times a week I drag myself out for half an hour of running around North London.

Let me count the ways I love thee, hummus.

Chocolate might be better for treating coughs than honey and lemon

I love thee with oatcakes, I love thee with carrot sticks and I love thee with roasted vegetables in wholemeal pitta.

I just love thee so much that sometimes I hope worry that I’m going to turn into a chickpea.

Prisons aren’t always great tools of rehabilitation.

In the UK, 46% of adults are reconvicted within one year of release – and for those who serve a sentence of less than 12 months, that increases to 60%.

Drinking coffee is as much about ritual as it is about waking us up, and generally, you order or make the same cup day in, day out.

But it can occasionally vary in taste. How can this be, when you’re doing nothing different?

Well, researchers say that it might down to the size of your coffee cup.

In March, a study is going to be published in Food Quality and Preference that will claim the size and thickness of your mug affects the perceived taste of your coffee.
