On Monday, we brought you news that Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop was recommending women start sticking jade eggs up their vaginas. 

Why? Because they supposedly ‘improve sex life, your cycle and overall well-being’, while intensifying your ‘feminine energy and invigorating our life force’.

How much does a First Lady earn?

Strong claims – which probably explain why the $66 (£54) eggs are currently sold out on Goop’s website.

Surprisingly, however, a gynecologist has now come out calling bullsh*t on the whole practice.

Dr Jen Gunter has written an open letter to Gwyneth Paltrow explaining why her vaginal jade eggs are a load of crap.
