Barack Obama earned just under $400k in his role as President – so this might lead you to ask ‘How much did Michelle earn?’

Maybe it’s half what POTUS earns? Or less – $100k? Must be something decent though, as such a high-profile public figure, right?

Nope, the answer is nothing.

Michelle earns diddly squat.

The First Lady is not compensated by the federal government for the work she does, as it is not an elected position and carries only ceremonial titles and duties.

This hasn’t gone unnoticed in the White House. Ronald Reagan said in an interview back in 1982:… Read the full story

On Monday, we brought you news that Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop was recommending women start sticking jade eggs up their vaginas.

Why? Because they supposedly ‘improve sex life, your cycle and overall well-being’, while intensifying your ‘feminine energy and invigorating our life force’.

How much does a First Lady earn?

Strong claims – which probably explain why the $66 (£54) eggs are currently sold out on Goop’s website.

Surprisingly, however, a gynecologist has now come out calling bullsh*t on the whole practice.

Dr Jen Gunter has written an open letter to Gwyneth Paltrow explaining why her vaginal jade eggs are a load of crap.

There is nothing worse than coming home after a long slog at work in need of a relaxing soak – only to remember that you don’t actually own a bath.

Showers are all well and good but bathing is so luxurious, so relaxing, so right.

Whenever I see a dog tied up outside a shop, waiting for its owner, I want to cry.

Sure, it probably has an incredibly loving owner who’s just abiding by the shop’s ‘No Dogs’ rule – but still, you can’t help but feel bad for the poor pup.

But it seems there’s now a place to go when you actually want to feel bad for these dogs – and it comes courtesy of an Irish guy named Andy.

Toddlers, in fact.

Back in 2008, photographer and entrepreneur Tricia Messeroux felt the uncontrollable desire to recreate celebrity looks, but with a cute added touch – children.

After selecting some very talented kids, Tricia got to work on recreating red carpet looks for toddlers.

And now, she’s debuting her Golden Globes toddler-style recreations over on her Instagram, Toddlewood.

Posting side-by-side photos of the toddlers next to their celebrity lookalikes, it’s time to see who wore it best.

funny-couple-3

We’ve all done it before – had a spell of freedom, a hiatus from the wonderfully brutal dating scene, a period of time where Saturday nights at home in your PJs were where your life was at.

Sometimes it’s through choice – to find ourselves and to love ourselves before we let others love us. Blah, blah.

A gynaecologist has confirmed that sticking jade eggs up your vagina is definitely a bad idea

Sometimes, it’s through a complete lack of choice or not meeting anyone that didn’t make your skin scrawl for what feels like a decade.

After these spells of singledom often comes someone new – someone who you want to see more than once and who you now have to make time for.

And when you start dating again after a long spell of being single, there are certain… Read the full story

Cow’s milk has been seen as a vital source of nutrients for over 7,000 years.

However, people have recently begun getting curious about other types of animal milk.

To be precise, giraffe milk. Google searches for ‘Can you milk a giraffe?’ are on the rise – and it turns out this is not the first time people have wondered this.

No sass to the fairer sex, but guy-on-guy besties are more fun, more chill and way less faff.

And while I’m generalising somewhat, it’s probably legit to say female friendships endure more than their fair share of drama.

Ask Andy: Help for a lonely stay-at-home dad and a disturbed dater

Petty gripes, hypocritical courteousness and sly bitching are, tragically, the hallmarks of all too many lady buddies.

Men on the other hand, for all our faults, are blessed with a happy knack for easygoing companionship. That’s why we often hear the term ‘bromance’, but almost never ‘hoemance’.

So what’s our wicked secret? Here’s 13 reasons male pals kick ass…
