There is one debate that will rage on through history – never to reach a definitive conclusion.

It tears families apart and makes enemies out of the best of friends.

Could new ice cream machines at McDonald's mean the end of McFlurries?

That debate my friends, is the inclusion of pineapple on a pizza.

Recently the President of Iceland (the country) announced his vision to ban pineapple on pizza and Miranda Larbi had some very passionate views on the subject.

Miranda is not alone in her passion for pineapple on pizza, according to our survey, over 48% of you believe that pineapple pizza is a thing of beauty – and 32% of you said it’s an abomination.

Sex is important for all kinds of reasons.

It stops people from going mad from frustration. It reduces stress. It makes you sleep better.

And, of course, it’s pretty crucial in keeping the human race going.

Countries need a fertility rate of just over two kids per woman to hit what demographers call ‘replacement fertility’ – the rate at which births fill the gaps left by deaths.

There are loads of nations which don’t hit that rate… Read the full story

Welcome to quite possibly the best week of the year – British Pie Week.

Pie lovers rejoice, because there is a whole week dedicated to the greatness that is a good British Pie.

How to make a pie burger for National Pie Day

When it comes to pies, and general savoury stodgy food, us Brits do it amazingly well.

Pies are an absolute delight because not only are they filling and fairly cheap, but they are also delicious.

In fact pies are always guaranteed to put a smile on your face, and warmth in your belly.

Two months into taking antidepressants, here’s how I feel

After reading lists of side effects and hearing story after story of how taking medication is very, very bad (thanks for that, people on the internet), it’s no surprise that I started taking fluoxetine with a massive side of fear.

I worried that I’d end up feeling even more depressed than before.

I worried that taking pills would change who I was, snatching away my creativity, my cool, edgy dark thoughts, and my self-deprecating sense of humour.

WIN: the ultimate Mother’s Day gift, an overnight stay, cocktails and dinner

I worried that I’d be a walking list of side effects, with blurry vision, tremors, and insomnia.

But a month into taking the pills, I was just waiting for anything to feel different.

I had shaky legs in the morning. I felt a little more thirsty than usual. I’d had two of the lowest days I’d ever had. I’d had two days of things feeling a little… Read the full story

Unless you’re Belgian, mayonnaise is the least acceptable condiment.

It’s bearable eaten with sweet potato fries but in all other cases, it’s just like slathering tasteless fat onto your food.

But apparently, demand for the gunk is so high in Japan that mayonnaise-based cafes are now a thing.

And we’re not just talking about one rogue pop-up – there are plans for TWO mayonnaise eateries to come into fruition in the next few months.

Open any newspaper these days and you’ll be confronted with dire warnings about living in a kind of Great Smog #2.

Air pollution levels are so high that in January, Sadiq Khan warned us to stop exercising outside because of the ‘toxic air’.

A common criticism flung at online daters is that we’re too fussy and that’s why we’ll all die alone.

WIN: the ultimate Mother’s Day gift, an overnight stay, cocktails and dinner

‘You’re always looking for the next best thing’ they say. ‘Your standards are way too high. In my day we married the first man who bought us a gin fizz and had seven kids.’

Well according to new research, that’s actually totally untrue.

The study asked 42,000 Australian people from the age of 18 to 80 for their preference in hair colour, eye colour, body type, education, personality and political views.

Now, if this ‘you’re all… Read the full story

Streetwear is usually the domain of edgy youths with plugs and tatts. It’s a young people’s game.

What’s the natural thing to eat when you get home? A ready meal, obviously.

But that choice, which you might have thought was a perfectly legitimate way to get yourself fed and still leave enough time to shower and maybe even watch Netflix for half an hour, is apparently linked to cancer. And of course, it’s millennials are the worst offenders.

A YouGov survey found that young adults aged 18-24 are more likely to… Read the full story

Adulting, if you didn’t know, is a cutesy expression applied to the practice of people who generally are adults, but don’t see themselves that way, doing tasks like cooking and laundry which are pretty essential to keep you alive.
