People still can’t deal with pictures of a woman breastfeeding it seems (Picture: Melissa Jean Photography)

The timing really couldn’t have been worse.

Instagram banned the account where Queensland photographer Melissa Jean Wilbraham shares her intimate photos of pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding…on the first day of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7).

Melissa, whose MelissaJeanBabies Instagram page has just under 24,000 followers, told Daily Mail Australia: ‘It was like being punished for celebrating the miracle of life.’

However, her page has now been restored after a campaign by her friends and followers – and she even gained around 4,000 followers in the process.

Incredibly, Helena Hauss creates her artwork using nothing but ball point pens (Picture: Helena Hauss)

These images haven’t been done on a computer. They are created using only Bic Biros. True story.

They are the work of Paris-based illustrator Helena Hauss.

Like pretty much all of us, she started doodling with Biros while at school. But, unlike us, she can create incredibly detailed and beautiful works of art with them.

In fact, she got so accustomed to drawing with her trusty ball points, she’s never used anything else.

If you think in squares or you look at a sunset and say, ‘Yep, that’s definitely a Nashville’, then you might recognise these…

1. I’ve tried all the Insta-trends: filtered pictures; the #nofilter trend which I don’t admit to slightly (read: heavily) editing; the border trend; the no border trend.

Name it; I’ve done it all.

2. All life questions are about ‘The Grid’.

And I often delete old pictures for fear it doesn’t quite fit with ‘The Grid’.

3. I panic that people will forget about me if I haven’t posted an Instagram in three days. There are two options in this situation:

Option 1 – upload a picture of a bunch of peonies that has been saved on my camera… Read the full story

Sweating 2

Are you a sweaty mamma or mister?

Join the club.

If you have spent your life avoiding bright coloured clothing, or with your arms clamped firmly by your side, then some of this might sound a little familiar.

1. You keep tight-fitting coloured tops for when you’re in the house. Alone.

2. All your shirts are white or black. It’s fine. Even if people do keep mistaking you for a waiter.

3. And you generally wear a jacket over the top. Double protection.

4. But then it sort of traps the heat in. And things get really steamy *runs through door, strips off, takes ice bath*.

Totally rad (Picture: Terrible Stupid)

Once again, the web has proven it’s a weird and wonderful place with these WTF wedding photos.

Photos of cutting the cake, tossing the bouquet and the wedding party just aren’t working for some people, who instead have put their own bizarre twists to photos of their happy day.

Raw chickens are chucked rather than bouquets, couples put a whole new meaning to shotgun weddings, mostly with an (un)healthy amount of Photoshop.

Thank you internet for curing our midweek blues.

But not any more, as it seems change is a-coming.

McDonald’s have just announced that they’re trialling table service right here in the UK. Not just thinking about it, but actually doing it.

The fastest of all the fast food chains are opening 11 ‘concept stores’ across Britain by the end of the month, the first of which is going to be in Mottram, Greater Manchester.

Despite the general consensus that selfies are for chumps, it seems that we just can’t stop ourselves.

According to Ofcom’s 2015 communications market report, Brits took an astonishing 1.2billion selfies in the past 12 months.

The report states that 31 per cent of British adults admitted to having taken a selfie, with 34 per cent of selfie fans saying they take them on a daily or weekly basis.

Unsurprisingly, those aged 16 – 24 were the most frequent offenders, with 26 per cent saying they took at least one a week. In contrast 91 per cent of over 65’s claimed to have never snapped a picture… Read the full story

Moving from the North to London can almost feel like moving to a different country.

So making that move past Watford can cause the mind to wander and your heart to really miss your northern home.

(Warning: this article contains a lot of stereotypes!)

1. Wind and rain as you have never experienced it before

Sideways rain and wind that hurts – there are hairstyles you manage to achieve up north thanks to the weather that are completely unobtainable anywhere else.

And what about the fashion? Down south people use umbrellas. That simply wouldn’t work up north – it’s a rain mac or nothing.

2. Chips and gravy

It’s a northern phenomenon that is seemingly unacceptable down south. When it is requested in southern ‘chippies’ you either hear ‘we… Read the full story

Are you a water dodger?

Despite the fact that water makes up two-thirds of a healthy human body, and the government recommends that we drink six to eight glasses a day, a staggering four million Brits haven’t had a glass of H20 in over a week.

In fact, the survey by SodaStream found that only 23 per cent of Brits regularly drink the recommended two litres of water a day.

30 per cent of people claimed they ‘needed’ caffeine more than water, which was reflected in the fact that over half admitted to drinking more tea and coffee than plain old H20.

Men who like to play the field will be happy to hear that new research suggests better orgasms are had when a new woman is involved.

The study, which appeared in Evolutionary Psychological Science, found that men ejaculated more, for a longer time and more quickly after ‘beginning’ when they watched a video with an unknown female in it.

The quicker part might explain that awkward ‘this never usually happens’ thing with a new partner.

To find this out, 23 men between the ages of 18 and 23, who identified as heterosexual, got their jollies on every 48 hours over the course of two weeks.

The little guy – who Tim initially mistook for a wallaby, silly Tim – has been in the care of Tim’s mother, Gillian, a wildlife-carer since he was orphaned.

Talking about Doodlebug’s rough start in life, Tim told MailOnline Australia: ‘He may have fallen out of his mother’s pouch or his mother may have died. He was a couple of months old when he was passed onto my mother’s wildlife company WIRES.’

They were born just a few weeks ago at the Taigan Safari Park in the Crimea, which is already home to over 50 lions.

The four new additions have been warming people’s hearts ever since they arrived with their soft fur and adorable paws.

At the moment the sweet cubs can barely keep their eyes open, so they spend most of their time sleeping and eating.

To be honest, it’s all fine by us – just look at how incredibly cute they are when they cuddle up to each other.
