I’ve always suffered from pretty horrible periods.

They’re heavy, painful and sometimes I get dizzy or sick. It’s been this way since I was a teenager, and apparently, shouldn’t be considered cause for concern. But it does take a toll on my life.

The two worst parts of my period are the hormone cloud that settles over me 4-5 days before it arrives, making me irrationally angry and tetchy and causing huge rows with my partner, and also the cramps.

Molly is a Labrador Retriever who’s just welcomed a litter of puppies – with two surprise additions.

Behold this photographer's glorious celebration of bums

Her owners, farmers Serena Spearey and Adam Szymborski, had to introduce two piglets to Molly’s family, after their mum died from a suspected heart attack while giving birth.

The piglets were in need of food and love, and they found both in Molly.

France has banned unhealthily thin models and this is a wonderful thing.

Having suffered from anorexia for many years, I know I was significantly influenced by what I saw in the media.

Anorexia, for me, was not just about a fear of fat but a strong desire to be extremely skinny.

I’ve recovered from anorexia – This is what a day in my life looks like

I do not blame the fashion industry for me developing anorexia but I’m really glad to hear the news today that they are going to have to take some action to manage the issue responsibly.

It is well-known that although genetics can predispose an individual to an eating disorder, environmental factors also play an important part.

Research has shown that people with anorexia actually experience a positive feeling when they view images of underweight people.
